The Jackson County Learning Center hours may vary slightly each semester based on class schedules but in general hours are:

Saturday-Closed except for special events
The Jackson County Learning Center is currently able to administer the COMPASS assessment for Ivy Tech Community College and the Accuplacer assessment for Vincennes University.
Assessments are administered on an appointment only basis. Please call 812-519-2923 to schedule your appointment.
If you would like to brush up on your reading, writing and math skills prior to taking your placement exam, you can attend FREE Bridge to College classes here at the Jackson County Learning Center offered in partnership with the McDowell Education Center.
An instructor is here on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The class sessions are held year round and are open enrollment. You do not have to attend all 3 days or the entire time period, just attend as your schedule allows. Call 812-519-2923 to get registered.
