OMGosh, I haven't looked at this part of my site in quite some time.  I haven't journaled FOREVER!!  I will try to do catch up this month.

I spent the night with Nana on Friday 9/30.  I asked her, "Nana, what are you going to be for Halloween?"  I said, "do I have to be something?" and she said, "Yes".  Then she asked me, "Do you know what I'm going to be?"  I told her I didn't know.  In the meantime, Caulin was laying on the couch, he didn't feel well and he was listening to the whole conversation.  Lane said, "I'll give you a clue, bud".  I asked, "bud?" and she said, "yep", smiling from ear to ear.  I said, "a lady bud, or flower bud?"  Then she said, "no, I'll give you another clue, bud der."  Then Junior leaned over and whispered, "fly".  I asked her, "are you going to be a butterfly?"  and she yelled, "Yes, a green one that is sparkly."  She's so cute, anyway I think so  :)

Ever since I can remember, I have called my big brother, "Hay-O".  He answers me all the time and I'm the only that can call him that, and does call him by that name.  What am I going to do when I get to school.  Nana has a feeling that I'll have to get use to calling him by his real first name.  Let's see what happens.

Last night I called my Nana and asked her if we could stay up all night until the sun comes up.  My Nana said, "perfect", and I was happy.  When Nana and Papa picked Hey-O and me up from my brothers last basketball game I reminded her we were staying up all night.  We went to Sam's club and ate pizza, Papa shopped and since we were good, Nana and Papa took me and Hey-O to the Dollar Store.  My brother bought a shotgun and I got a princess paint set.  When we got to Nan's house, we went and played outside for a long time.  Then we played and ate dinner and played some more.  I took a bath and after my brother and I got in our pajamas, we watched the rest of the Nuggets game that Daddy, Mommy and Sissy were at.  The Nuggets won.  I lasted until 9:30 and then I fell asleep on my Papa's lap.  Maybe we'll try to stay up all night next time!

Delaney has notified the family that she wants to marry her "Papa".  I think she and I are going to have to have a talk - LOL!

So Delaney is working on her rhymes, and we love it!!  She loves to sing too.  Her latest rhyme goes like this:  Eeny, Meeny, Miney, Mo; catch a Peedy, Pidey, Po; if he hollars make him pay, $20 every day.  Don't cha just love it :)

For Delaney's date night, we toned it down just a bit.  She got a new Strawberry Shortcake DVD.  She likes to cuddle into our old bed, in our old bedroom with lots of covers, pillows, and stuffed animals and watch all her Strawberry Shortcake DVD's.  That, along with a bowl of popcorn - we have a very happy 4 year old.  Her snack before bed is an ice cream sandwich and then it's off to sleepy land for her.  And where does she sleep you might ask, right next to Nana, in our King size bed.  She's a cuddler and she's warm!!

My Nana and Papa came over to see Sissy, Caulin and me, dressed up for Halloween.  I was Snow White, my brother was Octimus Prime and Madison was a "Hippie".  Before we could leave the house, Mommy and Daddy asked us, "okay, when you ring the doorbell and someone comes to the door, what do you say?"  I said, "Cheese" and everybody started laughing, I forgot, saying "Cheese" is when you get ready to take a picture!!  I remember now, "Trick or Treat and Thank You"  :)

Right now, my favorite movie to watch is Stoy Tory.  Yep, my Nana has the first one, second one and she said she'll buy the third one when it comes out.  I love Bo Peep and they all make me laugh.  I could watch them, All Day Long!

Delaney was abusing her big brother the other day, the normal picking, pinching, slugging, etc., etc.  When Mommy found out what was going on she said, "Delaney Michelle, we don't hit, now when you hit your brother, what should you do?"  She replied, "Hit myself?"  It's so funny, it's cute!!  She is such a cutie pie!!

Lane is really a lot of fun this summer.  Her hair is just as curly as ever, she loves getting in the water, whether it's an indoor pool - or outdoors.  She can run and keep up with the best of them and she still usually plays so hard, an afternoon nap is helpful.  She loves her Mickey and Minnie stuffed animals so when it's bedtime, she usually winds up in bed with me and whoever she can bring along!!  She's such a sweet spirit and is a cuddler too - what Nana doesn't love that??!!  She's really growing and is catching up to her brother quickly right now.  Hard to believe she's only 3 1/2 when she wears a size 11/12 is kids shoes right now.  My grandkids are going to all tower over me - I'm pretty sure!!

Daddy called Nana this past week.  He had some important things to talk to Nana about.  My brother, "Hey-O" was outside and Daddy was putting on my shoes.  He told Nana on the phone that, "as soon as I kick the kids outside to play, there's something I need to talk to you about".  I told Daddy, "it's not nice to kick people".  He said I was right!  I remembered my manners :)  Daddy said I was right and he was proud of me.

Today is my 3rd birthday.  My Nana called my house and sang "Happy Birthday" to me today.  I like to talk to her on the phone.  I told her today I didn't tinkle in my pants.  I'm working on the other part but, lots of time I still have accidents in my big girl panties.  One of these days I'll put everything together and I'll be as good going to the bathrooom as my big brother :)  My Mommy and Daddy are very busy for the next couple of days so my birthday party is on Saturday.  We're going to have PIZZA!!  Yeah.  I'm happy about that, I could eat pizza everyday.  My Nana thinks I'm wonderful and I always tell her that "Ive been waiting for you to come over".

I spent the night with Nana & Papa, my brother stayed too.  I woke up Nana at 6:30 a.m., we were the first ones up!  I cuddled with my Nana for a little bit in Pa's rocker/recliner and then I told my Nan I was hungry.  I asked for pancakes and bacon for breakfast, we had some left from yesterday when we stayed all day.  Nana warmed them up for me and I cleaned up my plate.  I asked her for some M&M's but she said I couldn't have them until after church!  Uh-uh?  Then I asked her for a slice of orange (american) cheese and ketchup, she laughed at me and then said that I could have the cheese but, I can't put it in ketchup.  Why?  Doesn't everything taste better with ketchup??  Oh well, I was happy with my cheese, and then I gave my Nana a lots of kisses XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Last night my family went to Applebee's and my Nana came to eat with us.  My Pa is working late tonight so, he can't come.  I ate a lot of my macaroni and cheese and I played with my purple playdoh until time to go home.  We asked Nana to come over and watch us play and she said she would so Mommy & Daddy and my sister, brother and me went home and Nana came over too.  She watch me and my brother play in the basement and she didn't leave when we took our bath.  I got upset and kinda got in trouble (I don't know why?) so, Mommy put me in time out in my room.  I cried and said, "I miss my Nana"; "Nana can you come in here", but they didn't let me have my way - hhmmm??  So I said, "Okay, I'm gonna be nice -- but you're not.  Can I come out of my room please?"  Well, I got to come out - Thank Goodness!!  It was time for Nana to go home so we all gave her hugs and kisses 'cause she really likes them A LOT!!  Then we watched "Olivia" on TV and Nan went home.  I miss my PA.

On Friday night this past week, Caulin & Delaney spent the night with Mike & I.  Mike had a very busy day and when we have the 2 young ones, it's usually 2 different meals.  For Caulin & Delaney:  macaroni & cheese, chicken nuggest, hot dogs, string cheese, doritos, etc., etc., etc.  I fed the kids early since Mike worked a little past dinner time.  When he came home I had chicken, mashed potatoes, bread and broccoli.  When Delaney saw the broccoli, she said, "Nana, broccoli are trees!".  I thought she said, "Nana, broccoli are treats!".  I asked her if she wanted some and she nodded her head a big yes......I couldn't believe my 2 1/2 granddaughter gobbled down about 6 pieces of broccoli.  I gave her a small one and she said, "bigger Nana", i gave her a full stem and she was pleased.  My grandkids never cease to amaze me and bring me much joy!!

Well, by the middle of the week, the little ones are trying to figure out the whole VBS experience and how it all comes together.  Today my Lane was a little tired before we got to VBS today.  She was in one of her moods, in the sweetest blue floral blue skirt and top I've ever seen.  She decided to zig, when I zagged.....off to "TimeOut" in the nursery.  Yep, the tears started immediately and she would say during her tears, "I want my Mommy, I want my Nana".  After a few minutes, I went back in and she was ready to cooperate.  The rest of the day was, as her daddy says, "As smooth as butter" :)  She's got the sweetest voice and smile - I can't hold back long!!

Well, it has been a busy summer and one of the activities occupying my time is watching my two younger grandchildren that live close to us.  Lane (Delaney) has really been fun this summer and a good playmate for Caulin.  We have homemade swings in the backyard hanging from the trees and she would swing all day long if someone would push her.  Since Ryan & Jennifer aka Daddy & Mommy work some long hours, the kids have stayed overnight with us to make it easier on everyone.  Yesterday, Lane was getting tired and kept saying, "Nana, I hold you".....I picked her up once in the kitchen, she put her head down on my shoulder, patted my arm and told me, "Nana, you're a good Nana".  WOW!  It doesn't get much better than that - now does it?!

Poppa cooked a potroast in a big round bowl called a crockpot.  Nana called my daddy and asked if we wanted to come over for dinner.  My mommy had to work a little late so, daddy said sure!  Hoorah, we get to go to Nan's!!  My brother is coming too.  My big sister had to do something else.  I ate 3 carrots, 2 pieces of cheese, some roast with a lot of ketchup and an oreo cookie - yum!!  Well after, my Nana and I went out in the backyard, there's a swing my Pa made with an old board and a rope.  There's just one hole for the rope to go through and it hangs from the big tree in their back yard.  I sit on my Nana's lap and we swing together until her arms get tired.  She likes my curly hair in the breeze and we laugh a lot cause we're having so much fun.  We go in the house when the mosquitos start to bite us.  I took a bath at my Nana's so I could put on some new purple jammies she got me :)  My Nana loves me - I'm pretty sure!!

My trip of a life time.  I dreamed for years of visiting Italy.  When I knew I was retiring, I opted for a trip instead of a party. My sister Jean and her husband Steve, and my Aunt Gladys and Uncle Jerry joined us.  We took a cruise on the Majic Carnival Cruise Line, visited Barcelona, Monaco, Italy, Sicily, Palma de Mallorca and France.  So much to do and not nearly enough time.  Still, it was worth every penny and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!!  We went from September 14th - 25th, 2011. 

I think it was all that Kay and her family had hoped for.  I enjoyed my family and especially my grandkids.  Lilly just turned 2 last Thursday.  She kept calling Kay and her bridesmaids "princesses" so, when Kay and then Vanessa danced with her she kept saying, "Nana, I dance with princesses".  She was so in awe :)  Delaney looked so cute in her dress and she and I danced and she even got her Papa on the dance floor a couple of times.  My best dance partner was Jr.  Caulin mainly led, which means I followed him around on the floor - ha!  Towards the end though - he actually let me show him the side, side, out, in dance ..... whatever you call that.  Then we went and sat down, he said he was hot, we took off his tie and vest and 10 minutes later, he was crashed out on my lap and Delaney was crashed on Papa's lap.  Maddie hung in there and she practiced dancing with her Mom a lot.  Jenn is a good dancer.  We all tore up the dance floor!! 

Had to go back to work on August 2nd.  Not too thrilled but, I showed up.  Two of my co-wowrkers from the district bldg downtown were there to audit my office - ugh.  It took 3 hrs!!  Needless to say, I'm behind....haven't paid a single bill yet because I can't get on to the sites I need!!  Coaches meeting Monday morning at noon.  Couple of new coaches, most of them are returns though, thank goodness!!  Hope the weather starts to cool down - our office can be a touch toasty!!  Just trying to keep up with the yard, house work/addition and work.  Looking forward to the end of the month because we'll be getting ready to go to NM for Kay's wedding!  Hoorah :)  Madison and Caulin will be headed to school  :)  They're growing up so fast.  I hope our students are a good bunch this year.  Can't wait for our "school bible study group to start up", it helps my work day!!  Love to all my sfly members <3

This undoubtly will be the busiest month all year!!  Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit but check this out....Family Reunion on my Mom's side starts July 2nd - July 4th.  Mike & I are celebrating 35 yrs of marital bliss on July 5th!  Tile & carpeting this month on the addition.  The weekend of July 10th, the 1st Pighetti Reunion in Denver!!  Vacation Bible School July 12 - 16 each morning, in the kitchen make snacks from 9 a.m. - noon.  One week to clean up my place for Kay's bridal shower at my home.  Rest a couple of days BECAUSE.....I go back to work on August 2nd!!!  argh

Well, here I am giving you a quick run down on my June - before it gets away from me!  My last day at work (South High School) was suppose to be June 8th, however, we are the biggest high school in Pueblo and so I wound up going in Wednesday, Thursday & Friday too (no O.T., no pay).  This past weekend Mike and I had Jr. and Lane, while their Mommy & Daddy went to an annual "Rockies Game", with cousins and friends.  I headed to Albuquerque yesterday and am with Jean at U.S. Test, it's "Bring Your Sister to Work Day"!!  We're going to camera shop this afternoon, I head back to Pueblo Thursday, will watch the kiddos and enjoy a "Father's Day Weekend".  Then up to Ft. Collins for a couple of days, I get to watch Lilly on Monday while her parents are at work!!  Fun, fun, fun.  The rest of June is committed to watching my "chimps", dentist appts, hair appts, working in the yard and house, my husband's request :)  Hope you all are having a terrific June!!

Graduation parties, birthdays, anniversaries.  May always fly by around our place!  We decided that even though we were invited to some events during Memorial Weekend, Ft. Collins was calling us north.  We enjoyed a great weekend with Kiel, Megan and Lilly.  We went to the park, downtown to eat, went to Kiel's 5k run and stayed with Lilly while Daddy sweated and Mommy worked at Coolbeans.  We tried going swimming but Lilly was tired and so we cut that adventure a little short.  Fairly easy drive up and back.  Good times!!

Goats? Really?!!! Well its funny because this summer @ the Porter County Fair in Indiana I fell in love with the goats. I never had a desire to have - in my life until this summer. I told Rob if we ever live in the country I want a few. Check them out on my Fair page they are so adorable. I'm not even talking about the babies but the adults were beautiful. I didn't know they came in so many colors! Can't wait to hear this goat story! :)

Hi! How are you doing? Any travel plans for 2012? We are hoping to go to Myrte Beach, Virginia Beach, or Hilton Head Island this August. I don't know yet because August is so hot but it was the only week in the summer Rob could get off.

Well, I am officially retired! Haven't slowed down a bit though, Ryan had surgery the Monday before I was done. It was successful but, he's off work until at least the middle of July. Jennifer is working and I help whenever I can, that included taking Ryan and Caulin to their dentist appointment. Kiel and Megan are busy too and Lillian won't stop growing!!

Hey everyone! The days are going by quickly now. Three weeks from today and I am officially done! Retired!! Looking forward to my summer and then our trip in September!!! Thanks so much for stopping by my site! Sorry I have been MIA. Life is so crazy right now with our moves(3 moves in 3.5 weeks with Rob moving from the small Indiana apartment to the bigger family apartment, moving Joe into his 1st apartment in NY since he wants to continue to go to colllege and work here in NY, and then moving our family to IN finally.) I have been going on 36 hours stretches with like 2 hours of sleep and off running again. My body is so sore! I will try to catch up as soon as things calm down. Hope you had a wonderful Easter! Did you have dinner at your house or did you go somewhere? Rob was 500 miles away and missed another holiday and the kids had to work. I was busy checking out apartments for Joe! It was a really strange Easter.

Dear Rhonda, I love your header. My aunt follows the signs, the moons, the Farmer's Almanac and she is a miracle worker with plants. Well, as you say March came in like a Lamb. We are having a bad snow storm here in Ohio. TODAY! None of it is staying but it looks so pretty. Maybe we will have another for April Fools Day! lol.

I came by to say hello and to thank you so much for visiting my site. I have done very little. I have not been very well for some time and have not been visiting my sites like I usually do. It was so kind for you to stop. I have been able to put some nice photos from last year up for a second "Home" page. I called Shutterfly and I can't move it all. I want the pretty flowers in my header and don't feel like finding them all. (They are all over the place in my Shutterfly files. I'm not the best organized and I'm tired.) I just wanted to stop by to say hi and thanks for the chat the other day online through facebook. Sorry it was so short. In the past few months I haven't really been on facebook and I had to send a message real quick as I was waiting on Rob to get done. We were heading out to dinner then I had to get him to the train station. It was the 1st time home in a month and it was just a brief 2.5 days. I miss him so much! Its been almost 7 months already. I am so sick of living 500 miles apart. I really don't know how I survived this long! Its pure torture. :(

Anyways, how are you doing? Any St. Patrick's Day plans?

Are you working on any photobooks right now? I haven't made a photobook in so long. I may work on one of our chocolate lab Bella. I did a little St. Patty's photoshoot today and hope to post them! They came out cute! :)

I hope things will be calm enough for you to make it through the day without choking someone! LOL. Holly got her name because she was a Christmas present..and I had a poll on my site and that name received a few votes. It was my favorite choice too! I also had Belle (Christmas Bells), Pepper (peppermint), and I can't remember the other ones...but that was #1!
Stay warm today, I know it is very cold up there and they don't keep your office warm either.

By the time your trip comes around you'll understand the phrase and basic words in Italian. Having a student from Italy is a big plus. I hope she enjoys her time here in the USA.

Yes it is true that one has to pay to use the bathroom in a cafe.  But if you buy a coffee or ice cream it is free.   That is what we did.  We had a coffee or some ice cream while touring and then used the rest room.  Why not have a treat in Italy?  It works out well.

Stay warm and cozy Rhonda, we are expecting 6-9 more inches of snow.  This is so depressing.   Bring out the warm weather and enough with boots, scarfs and hats.  Enjoy your week Bella and tanti baci per te. xoxoxoxoxo

Merry Christmas Rhonda! I hope your day was truly magical! Did you get everything on your list? I hope you were able to spend Christmas with all your family! I bet it had to be fun to see all your grandkids open the presents you bought them. I love buying for little ones and seeing them open gifts!

I hope the xmas card I sent got there in time!

Today was a very different Christmas since Rob was only home briefly and I had to take him to the airport this afternoon. I am grateful he was home even if it was briefly since he missed all the holidays and special events in the past 4.5 months.

Marina and I had so much fun on our trip! I will tell you all about it another day! I am so exhausted!

Dear Rhonda, that was so amazing to read about YOUR photos being taken near Jean's and then Jean's being taken in YOUR area for the Share Page! A nice touch to share...and funny! :) Thanks for stopping by my site again. I appreciate that you looked at the Share Albums that the members have put on. It is delightful to see all the different areas covered! I am now in my new apartment. That was fun! (NOT!!!) It went very well considering all the things going on. I think this might be my first Shutterfly entry...I have been so tired. I love my new place, but cannot even begin to think of the little kitties I left behind. As a dear friend told me, I had done as much for them as I could do and had recruited ladies to feed them from now on. She said I needed to think of myself and get things taken care of with me. (That still doesn't make it any easier!) She heads two Ohio feral programs, so I guess she knows what she is talking about.

I remember seeing pumpkins on your site before...I just had them on my site due to going with my grandson. I am just saying "hi" and not looking around right now. I have to empty these 'green' tubs from the move...they are really nice but you pay for each day. That way you HAVE to unpack soon! LOL !!! Thank you for stopping and saying hello. Hello, Rhonda. I want to thank you for adding your Jemez photos to the Fall Share Page. I haven't done one before so was a little..a LOT..nervous. You are the only one to add photos from that area and I know it was a hectic weekend...and that it was a wonderful weekend. I really am enjoying your photos. Thank you also for stopping by. I really have NOT been working. This summer was difficult and I didn't get much done at home or on Shutterfly. Thanks for saying that though...it really sounds good and makes me smile! :)

The little boy in blue is my only grandchild. He is so cute. Whenever he calls he says, "Hello Grandma. This is your grandson, David." Now that he is a bit older he cracked up last week after that and then added "Grandma if I say Grandma you will know who I am. You don't have any other grandkids..." and then started this adorable giggling fit. I saved it!!! He is also the same child getting a free sample of cider. The blue photos were taken when he was 4 or 5 and he just turned 9. I wasn't even able to get to his birthday this year, but am feeling lots better. I made a gingerbread house with him last night and he was so excited. He called it a Hansel and Gretal House. I liked it without the eyeballs in front but had told him it was his house to decorate exactly as he pleased. I also spent a short time at another pumpkin festival with him. He told his mom (my daughter, Lisa) "this is so fun. This is like it used to be". He missed me, too.

I am so tired I won't visit much today. My hip went out last weekend so I really don't have much else to fall apart right now. I am out of aspirin so it will be a long night. Again thank you so much for your lovely photos from New Mexico. I also appreciate you stopping on My Little Ferals. I have neglected both sites this summer and will be changing that soon, I hope. I appreciate your visits. The little animals need all the friends they can get. WE STILL HAVEN'T HAD A LITTER THIS ENTIRE YEAR!!!! I am so happy with that. I hate the thought of unwanted animals being discarded. It actually hurts me inside and this is the only way I have to deal with it.
