Here you'll find pictures of our tournaments and events. Parents are welcome to upload or order pictures and pick up at participating stores (like Target).
Go to the tabs to the right of "Home" above to locate the tournament and or day.
Questions about uploading pictures e-mail Glenn at bottomley@pbworld.com (do not e-mail pictures please) or call 412-5372. Feel free to pass links on to friends and family. If anyone prefers this site to be limited and/or password protected please contact me. Chart below will track performance of Points For/Against Ratio for all tournaments. A 1.19 ratio is respectable and means they can score but also give up an average of 21 points a game. 14's won their tournament at 1.36. Keep that number moving up with "on your toes" defense. - Glenn
1. If you have not accessed Shutterfly before you will need to provide your e-mail and create a password. They are not a SPAM marketing site – just will send low price photo offers every once in a while.
2. I generally go for action shots with the ball in play. I leave portraits to others for a couple of reasons. See below for description of how others can upload your photos if you want to. I am doing for the 14’s also - so I took 1,700 photos at Monument and kept 700 (threw out 1,000). Camera is set, necessarily, to allow some blur of fast moving items (ball and arm swings typically).
3. From the main Shutterfly Coastal 13s 2011 page http://coastal13s2011.shutterfly.com/ click on the tabs to the right of “Home” Tab for the tournament – they will always be available but will be bumped down the list as season progresses – if I can keep this up. “More” tab holds the list of all. Mon City is Monument Tournament.
4. The first static collage are images I pick – this is the last thing I do and basically just throw a few up there and try not to duplicate players (at this point just trying to get done).
5. Below static collage are the rolling images you will find SEVERAL (but not always all) photos for that tab (for the first tournament each day is a tab) - to view:
a. Quickest way – cursor over rolling pictures and arrow controls pop up and you can speed through at a quick pace and double-click to view an individual file.
b. Best way – double-click on first file (or any) and when image comes up click slide show (left of arrow) and then full screen and it will run through all photos.
6. Photos are large HQ files (6-7 MB). You can order your typical photo products (even pick up photos at participating stores like Target). I receive nothing for this - I just use their free site to upload, organize and display the photos. If you want to download a file you can (cursor over single image view (after double-clicking from rolling view) and select save) but you only will receive a download of about 200 Kb file or about 5% of original size – but that is good enough to use for most normal purposes – send in e-mail or maybe screensaver. E-mail me if you have a particular original file you would like.
7. I have created about 10 sites and no one has ever had concerns about posting the pictures on the Internet – an individual has to know the exact Internet address to access and have an account established (password) – so you cannot just Google words in site and happen upon it. There is a capability to input all the parents as members and only they have access – a little problematic to send links to family members or the 3 or 4 e-mails each family has – but not a huge deal if some parents strongly prefer that.

This is a personal photo collection site of a parent(s) and is not an official site of Coastal Volleyball. Emphasis on site is action photos and capturing effort - not so much portraits. Let me if you have any specific requests or cencerns/problems with the site and content.
