Welcome to Comfort Stay NYC

PLEASE NOTE: MINIMUM STAY IS 30 DAYS OR MORE!!!!

Why book a cramped room in an overpriced Midtown hotel, when you can stay Uptown with double the space away from the hectic noise and traffic and yet be at all the hot spots within minutes?

I have 5 UNITS available in a newly built split level apartment in a central location, on a quiet residential street between 5th Avenue and lenox ave on 118th st. A mere 2 blocks away from the famous CENTRAL PARK (5 mins walk way).

Subway 2,3 trains are only 2 min walk.

All rooms have a strict non-smoking policy! But feel free to smoke outside.

We had a great stay for 6 nights at Regina's plays. The room was comfortable and clean and Regina provides everything to make you feel at home. She's honestly the best host you can get and without comparison in this business. The location is quiet, just a 2 minutes walk from the subway and absolutely safe at night. We recommend this place to everyone and we will definitely stay there again if we ever return to NY.

Had a wonderful stay at Regina's place for 3 nights while in NYC to run the marathon. Very clean and comfortable, and Regina went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and accomodated. It'll be the first place I think to stay when I return for another visit.

Just returned from second stay with Regina. Five of us stayed with her to cheer for and run the New York Marathon. We will be back many times. It was a spectacular experience for all of us. What a comfortable, welcoming place - home away from home. Thanks Regina.

We stayed with Regina for 4 nights on our first visit to the big apple... she was a great host. Her house was placed at a really good location, easy for us to get time square and chinatown easily. Her place was even close to Marshalls... :-)

I would love to stay with Regina again on my next visit to the beautiful big apple!!

Christian

Staying with Regina is a real pleasure as she takes much care of their guests and is almost always available if any problems or questions should occur. So, we (I stayed at Regina's together with two of my sons) highly recommend Regina as a lovely, very clean and affordable place to be in NYC.
9/29/2010 4:18:44 PM - 003058658784
Regina is very helpful all the time, and she treats her guests as guests in her own house. I highly recommend you stay with her, her rooms are clean and beautiful. My family and I stayed with her for 4 nights, at the beginning we didn't know where we were and we were scared since it was our first time in NYC, but Regina made it easier!

Our stay in NYC was awesome. With Reginas help we knew all the places we wanted to visit and how to get there. We walked to Central Park from our room and were just minutes from the subways. We felt VERY safe in Harlem. Walking through at 11 at night was no issue at all. Regina was right at our finger tips if we needed her. The house was well stocked to way more then what we expected. We will return with no doubt and I recomend Reginas place to everyone :)

We stayed in room # 4. The place was perfect for us. We had the kitchen and living area to our self. Grocery store right up the street. The area was very safe. It was easy to get to from the Airport and subway station was very close. The place very neat and clean. AC's worked great. Couldn't get the cable to work correctly, but then we didn't have time for TV in New York. We would stay again without a doubt. We meet Regina's daughter-in-law and grandson,. They were very sweet. Regina was very nice and had the answers to all our questions. Were the Marple's from Jasper GA. Thanks Regina

I stayed at Regina with my wife for around 6 days on beginning of 2010. When I return to NYC, I will definitely stay again at Regina. It`s like staying at a very close friend house. She takes care of everything, helps on everything you need. The place is also very easy to reach by Metro and in a pleasant place.

I just want to drop a note to you and let you know that my husband and I really enjoyed our time in NYC. Kimmie is a great host, she's very polite and willing to help at a moment's notice. The place was very easy to locate, near the trains we wanted and just all around SUPER!

Thank you very much for recommending this place. We will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

We enjoyed 10 beautiful days in NY and staying at Regina´s place was the best decision ever to make it a perfect experience. There is not much left to say which has not been mentioned before. It´s all true, this is the place to stay.
We felt like coming home everytime after exploring the city all day and need to thank Regina soooo much. For her hospitality, helpfulness and just for being lovely, caring and generous.
Visiting NY again, Harlem and Regina´s place will be our choice, no doubt!

I think this must be the best place in the city to stay. My son and I just returned from spending five days with Regina. We will be back every time we visit New York City. We felt very much at home. The room was clean and comfortable, the kitchen fully equiped, the other guests very interesting, the location perfect, and Regina is absolutely delightful. We felt like we were staying with a friend.

Regina is a great host and very welcoming and friendly. Everything everybody has said about how great it is and its location is true, I would recommend it to anybody.
Useful tip if you're planning on visiting the Statue of Liberty. You can get tickets to go to the crown but you need to book them online well in advance of your visit. Visit the National Parks service website was a link to the company that are run the ferry.
Thanks Regina for making my stay so much more memorable.

Because of hospitality provided by Regina I and Nadeem were able to truly relax and enjoy our NY trip. I will choose Regina place over and over again and recommend it to all my friends. Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Regina. Miss you.

Regina, her staff and family are the best. She went out of her way to accomodate Europeans who were stranded due to the volcano and managed to do so without interrupting rooms for anyone else. The location is indeed great - very close to N. Central Park and subway and I did not have one interrupted night's sleep. I also left a couple items there by mistake and they found them and are mailing them back I felt very safe and secure and appreciated Regina's warm good nature. Scott in Seattle

I spent 4 wonderful days with Regina and David. They're wonderful hosts and their home is beautiful and very well-kept. The location is wonderful - a block from the express subway line, a 5 min walk from Central Park, and I found a wonder little Italian restaurant right at the end of the block. Highly recommend it!!

Regina,
You have a lovely sanctuary in a very busy city. It is so convenient to everywhere, just a block and a half to the subway and a short walk to busy bus routes. I wasn't at all worried about my daughter taking the subway back alone at 1am. Harlem is safe these days, especially your part of it, even for us white folks.
Your place is quiet and well-stocked and clean. I love the bright colors. I've been telling folks that it rates five-stars for the third-world. The beds were very comfortable.
You are a charming, attentive host. My daughter, her mother and I thank you for the pleasure of your place and person.
All good things,
Dr Dave

Absolutly Perfect!!! Nothing else to say. The neighborhood, amazing. Harlem Rocks!!! Only 2 blocks from the subway, insanely close. Just 5 minutes to 125th street, you have everything there: movies, food, and really cool bargains if you wanna shop. The house is awesome, we stayed at ap #4, the private one. IT IS HUGE, and for the price you will find what you get its well worth it. We did visited the rest of the house too, regina took us on a private tour hahaha. It is so big, so clean, so tidy. You can be perfectly fine there. Food, clean towels, a huge bathroom, outstanding heating system; everything you can get in a fancy hotel for a small ammount of the price.
Regina, as everybody said...amazing person, so caring and lovely. We met her son David, so hi David to you too.
To sum up....perfectstay! we highly recommend it!

REGINA YOUR THE BEST - I have to say this is the best place ive stayed while in new york. The place is spotless the kitchen, bathrooom, floors, carpets everywhere is super clean. Ive stayed in 5 STAR hotels that are not this clean. The Bedlinen is always fresh and clean and there are NO SIGN OF BEDBUGS which seems to be a problem for most hotels in new york. Good location, only 2 blocks away from 116th (2,3 Trains) There are lots of things to do and see. And loads of places to eat good food especially at Amy Ruths. Regina is always there if you need anything and will always do her best to make you comfortable - she even provides food. The cupboards are always stocked with something to eat if you dont fancy eating out.

I will definetly make another booking this summer. I dont think i will need to stay in another hotel in New York again. This really was the PERFECT STAY

With love xxx Gavin

Regina is a very tidy landlord. We stayed eight days in her home this summer and were very impressed with how clean her place. You get use of the kitchen and bathrooms - the deal is simply great - Highly recommended. Good neighborhood and facilities nearby including subway!

We just returned yesterday from staying with Regina for the weekend. We came up from Virginia, my husband, my daughter and her boyfriend. We had 2 rooms. The neighborhood is very quiet, the beds were comfortable, it felt like we were staying at a family member's home. Regina has thought of everything, there is an iron, blow dryer, pots, pans, eggs, bread, butter, milk, soups, 2 whole cabinets of spices really anything you will need to cook a meal. There is a very large grocery store within a 4 minute walk, several convenience stores open very late, 2 drug stores and restaurants all around us. The subway was 2 blocks away and the neighborhood is very safe. We are planning another trip in April or May and another during theater week in September. My daughter's boyfriend is planning a trip and plans to stay there with his family. I can't say enough nice things about Regina, she is very sweet and helpful and we can't wait to stay with her again.

It was a great experience to have the comfort and the privacy of being at home being miles away from my country. Me and my mom really enjoyed our stay at Regina's, she is very generous and kind! Also, being near a supermarket and the subway makes everything easier!

This was a great experience I highly recommend. Easily accessible to downtown via metro, safe location. Regina was very helpful. I would return again and again.

The only thing I can say is REALLY AMAZING. Perfect situation; perfect house; perfect kitchen; perfect price and perfect Regina. For sure the best place to stay if you're in New York and wanna feel like home. Absolutely great 100%.

My husband and I just came back yesterday after staying at Regina's cheapest room for 19 days. And we are feeling "Home Sick". The house is a "home". Regina's only fault is her over generosity. We have rented apartments all over the world and never have we seen so much given for free. When she says the kitchen is well equipped, she means it is well stocked with food for the guests to use FOR FREE. One gets cereal, coffee, assortment of tea, eggs, spices from all over the world, rice, beans, canned food that will shame any small grocery store. I advised her against it and perhaps she will listen to me. Her mother used to feed the village in Uganda and Regina now feeds Harlem. The house is very well located, she and her team keeps it clean and we all became part of a big family over 19 days. Regina's success story belongs to Kristoff's column in NY Times. We are going back in April and as long as she remains in business we will be her guests at least two times every year, perhpas even more.

I stayed at Regina's with two of my girlfriends, and we had a great time! The place is great for students, but is also super family friendly. With just a few minutes away from the subway, it's so easy to get around and visit the city! Regina is super welcoming! I will look to stay here again the next time I visit NY! Thanks Regina!

This place was AMAZING! Regina was so wonderful! There were nights we'd come home and she had dinner on the table for us. I really loved her ready smile and gracious attention.

Even when we thought there was no room for us to stay a few extra days (at the last minute) she made it work.

It is very safe there and two of our party were women who felt no qualms walking to/from the grocery, subway, bank, etc at any time.

Thank you Regina (and your wonderful family!) for taking such great care of us. EVERYTHING she says is 110% correct.

We stayed here for five days in August 09 and can vouch for all the good things mentioned by various people. Regina, the host, is a gem of a person. Very kind, caring and courteous. Location is superb, rooms are comfortable and the area is quite safe. We travelled to 15 cities of the world during that trip and this was one of the best stays. If we ever go back to New York, we will head straight away to Regina. Regina, thanks a lot for being an outstanding host. Keep it up!

We stayed for 10 nights. Regina was very friendly and helpful! Amazing place to stay while in NYC, you won't find a better deal for the quality of the room. Very convenient location...only 2 blocks from the Subway. Very clean and spacious rooms! The building is located off the main drag = quite and peaceful.
Will definitely stay again when I return to NYC! Highly recommended!!

THANK YOU!!! :)

We stayed in for 11 nights. The room was 60$ per night, you will NOT find best way to stay in NYC : we had a very comfortable king sized bed, our own fridge, a big TV with cable, a cozy room and free internet connection ; don't worry if you do not have your own computer cause Regina provides it that you can make your research about the greatest things to do in NYC - but you will not really need it as Regina is very helpful in that way. You have the possibility to cook in a very well furnished kitchen and everythings make you feel at home.
The subway station is about 1 minute on foot - Central Park is about 2 minutes ! awesome - and you'll find all you need on your way : there's a supermarket one block down the house, food to go and clothes stores close too, AND as you'll be in Harlem you'll find the store which propose visit and guides about this historical area one minute from the house.
Regina made us feel at home so well as she is friendly and really nice. She's always checking if everything alright and is very worried that it is for you.
The place is clean and quiet and it is so interesting to pass people from all over the world.
We do enjoy this stay at Regina's home ! And, sure, when we'll get back in the amazing, the greatest, the awesome New York citiy, we will definitively choose Regina !

We stayed in #2 for 7 nights and really enjoyed our stay! You can rent the room for $80 per night with up to 4 persons. The king size beds are comfortable, you have your own fridge and freezer, a tv, a huge wardrobe and a chest of drawers for your own. The bathroom is shared with #3. Regina is very friendly, helpful and hospitable. She comes every morning to clean the rooms, the bathrooms and the kitchen (she provides food for all guests in the fridge!). Even if you don't bring your own laptop, computers and internet access are available. The subway express lines are just 2 minutes away from Comfort Stay NYC and you'll be downtown in a few minutes! All in all, it is a very clean, safe and calm place with a very familiar atmosphere! I would definitely recommend this place and I'm already looking forward to coming back (hopefully) very soon!

Greetings to your 2 sons we met at Comfort Stay NYC!

Love,

This is a very good address! I stayed 10 days in the beginning of September 2009. Regina told me on the phone every room was already booked and proposed me the double decked room for a good price! She is so nice! Two words about the area: very safe, you can come either by subway or taxi if you want, even late in the night. A few steps from here, there is a food shop all night opened, you can buy drinks and their good sandwiches all hand made! A fine fare shop also near from the subway station. This place is also closed to upper central park! Google it, you will see! I want to say thank you to Regina and David! Hello to Matthias and his two friends and hello to Romano, I will email you soon guys!

Belle maison, la main room est tres confortable, hote devouee. Le cadre est sympa ainsi que l'ambiance. Juste au dessus de Central Park et a deux pas du metro. De plus les prix sont tres raisonnables. A recommander.

Nice house, the main room is really comfortable, our hoste is really devoted. Really sympathic ambiance. Just near Central Park and the subway. Moreover, the prices are really resonnable. We recommande it.
