Hi Cory. Bear (Tritan) is doing great and we love him so much. I was off all last week with him and really enjoyed it. I taught him how to sit! He is so smart and absolutely adorable and he has such a wonderful personality, too! I have a neighbor who is spending lots of time with him during the day now. People are telling me he is the cutest puppy they've ever seen, and most of these people have dogs of their own! - Carol

Hello. How are all the puppies doing? I have heard from a few of you, and every one seems to be very happy and adjusting well. Don't forget to check your contracts for the date of your second set of shots. Looking forward to updates from every one.

That's great Denise. If she has any adjustment issues when you go back to work, I may be able to help with advise! I think that Larry is home until late mornings or is it opposite? It should work out fine. I will be in Raleigh tomorrow. Taking two pups for pick up at a hotel in Cary, then going to a festival at the fairgrounds with my friends. I so need a fun day. My cell will be on, 910.992.6320. If you around that area I would love to see you and Gemma (Muffy to every one else.) I may make a long day of it and stop at the mall and get a haircut, etc. So, even call if you want to eat out for dinner and see where I'm at.

Hi Cory, Just wanted to update you on Gemma. She is such a smart little girl. I'm trying to switch her over to the raw diet. I made your receipe for the veggie glop, and she really liked it at first, I think next time I'll try a different green, I used spinach and think that it might be to strong. Her favorite treat is fresh endamama beans, she will sit for them, and we are working on ringing her bell to go out. Every night she rides in her car seat over to Larry's mothers house to have her dinner and play with all of us, and I have lunch with her everyday. I have scheduled her first appt. with Dr. Bailey next Monday the 19th. I enjoyed spending my vacation with her last week. She is so loving, thanks to you and your family for letting us adopt her.

Bebe, that's so funny that Lily is related to your dog, and you know what? Barney's mom is my female Bebe's mother! I also really and truly loved your comments. I've had a rough day so a little praise goes a long, long way on a day like this. I remember meeting you all years ago when I didn't have a puppy, and I was equally impressed with you as well. I'm glad Lily is behaving. Keep us updated! And, that goes for every one else too, you can't believe how much we miss the little ones when they go home: we are their guardians 24/7 then boom, they are gone and we always worry about them. But, on the other hand, I try hard not to pester my buyers about how it's going and to give them some space. Talk to you all soon!

Actually we're spelling that" Lily." Thought that looked wrong when I wrote it!

Oh! I checked and Cowboy Tango is Barney's father! So I guess that makes him Lilly's uncle?? His mother is Hip Hip Hooray from Cotonbrie.

Hi! We have settled with the name "Lilly" for "Toby." Actually...Lilly Belle ( a good southern name! :-) ) but will probably just call her Lilly. Just wanted to get to know her a little and see what seemed to fit!
She is wonderful! She has such a sweet personality! Eating well. Using the potty pads (mostly!) Sleeping well with her snuggle pup! Just a little whining at first. The ride home was easy with her...she behaved like a little lady! Barney, our 3 year old male is "adjusting." A little shock and jealousy on his part but she LOVES him and follows him around everywhere. He likes to rough and tumble play and she tries to "hold her own" with him..does a pretty good job! This morning, instead of his usual routine of going straight outside to potty, he went to Lilly and whined for her to come with him.
LOVE her, love her , love her! We are so happy that we decided to get her. You were absolutely correct, Cory. She is the perfect fit for us! I'm glad you had a puppy available! You do a very good job with these pups! They obviously get lots of love. We could see that at your home. It was so nice to see you again and to meet your husband. Pine Hurst is a beautiful area!

Bebe, I'm sorry I didn't notice your comment on here before. Your crate is fine, it's a bit too large but no need to by another. I would just block it off some how so it's smaller at first. Just use something that can't be chewed up. Sometimes bigger crates come with wire partitions.

It's totally normal for them to eat anything and everything, even other animal's poop! They are like toddlers in the fact that everything goes straight to their mouths. You can't do anything about it, but train a word like "drop it," etc., and just watch them like crazy and take up as much dangerous stuff as you can. It will pass. I'm glad Hubble is doing great. I added photos yesterday if you haven't seen them.

Hubble (Sleet) continues to go great and sleeps through the night. He loves going outside, but our biggest concern is that he's like a little vacuum: picks up everything from tree bark to leaves, moss, twigs and wants to eat it all. Any thoughts?

Oh great Denise. I emailed Larry yesterday and he said all was well. Sleet (Hubble) went home on Saturday, and Blizzard left today. I just finished uploading photos and am adding them now.
Please keep updating us, the first few days are very hard as we adjust to not having them here, and wondering how they are getting on.

Hi Cory, Gemma is just wonderful. She sleep all through the night, both nights in her crate on our bed with her suggle pup. She won't leave my side. I just love her :-)

Cory, Larry and I have picked the name Gemma Mina (in Italian means Precious Gem) for Muffy.
3/30/2010 12:20:14 PM - 003017664470
Cory, we have a larger wire folding crate, 24x24 (???) I think. Do you suggest a smaller one for carrying while the puppies are small?

This is the body.
Cory, so happy to hear the physicals went well. As discussed earlier, Sleet's new name will be Hubble (complete name: Hubble, Sleet and Sandman of Carolina, but Hubble will be fine for the contract).

Soph and Rayce pups had their physicals and first shots today (Monday). They all passed with flying colors! Their second set of shots will be due three weeks from today. Even though the pups had a full physical today, I suggest when you make your appointments that you schedule another physical just as a precaution.
I will be working on contracts later this week, probably on Friday as I am working Tues.-Thurs. this week. I will post a copy for you to review before pick up. If you know what your puppy's name will be, please let me know that too. If you haven't decided, it's fine, the name we assigned is fine for the contracts, and you can fill in the name however you please on your registration papers.
I'm excited for all of you!

I just discovered I had permission settings wrong on here and you all have not been able to add or comment. I'm very sorry, it's fixed now, I wish someone would have told me!
