Our Cub Scouts are active in many annual service projects and great activities, such as the Bike Hike, Pinewood Derby, Rocket Launch, and Raingutter Regatta. Our primary fundraiser is the Fall Popcorn Sale. We sign up each August during the Cub Scout Roundup, but welcome new scouts year-round, so come join us for a meeting and see what Cub Scouting is all about!
Need help finishing the bead neckerchief slide?
At our March Madness pack meeting, most boys got a chance to start a bead project, making a neckerchief slide. Not everyone had time to finish it, though. Attached is a photo of the poster that gives directions on how to make the slide. Good luck!

May Rockets!!
Our May pack meeting will be held on Friday, May 11th at 6:30 pm in the field behind Lake Street Elementary School in Crown Point. We will have a launch pad and engines for Cub Scouts who bring their rockets. So parents and boys, get started looking at your rocket kits -- the hardest part is gluing on the fins (special tip: use a fast-drying glue like epoxy, or a hot glue gun, rather than craft glue). Be sure to decorate and then take a picture -- these rockets fly high and far and we usually don't see them again :).
