Cubs CYBA 12U 2009 - cubscyba12u

Our guys played great baseball last night against a very good Sox team. with the coaching staff still feeling out the players and locking down positions it can be difficult at times to play baseball in transition. the cubs were definitely up to the task last night. we had some key players step up at crucial moments to shut the sox down. the outfield did a great job. after some shuffling the infield line up was set and the infield played their hearts out. with some repitition in these positions i can see the cubs becoming the team to watch in the 12U division. great job to the pitching staff - Ethan and Josh did a great job on the mound - with VERY FEW WALKS. nice work guys. Catchers were solid behind the plate last night with only a couple past balls and they locked down the runners great. the base running was 150% better than in our previous outings.....you guys are starting to get a great feel for stealing. nice work Cubs. we're proud of you. - Coach Tony
