We are happy to share with all of you that our little boy has finally arrived. He is as precious as ever and we have already fallen in love with him. He arrived on Saturday, May 16th (one day short of mine and Jeff's anniversary :) He was 7lbs,10 ounces and 21 inches long. Peyton is incredibly fascinated with him and wants to hold him non-stop. She is a great big sister and tries to help as much as she can. Thank you for all of your prayers as you too were awaiting his arrival. We can't wait to introduce our little boy to all of you.
Trick or Treat
Peyton had her first trick or treating exprierence this year and I must say that she had a blast. We only had to show her once what she had to do to get candy and then she was off on her merry little way. We went with my dear friend Kristi and her 6 little ones plus our friend Melody and her two little ones. So there were 9 little girls running from house to house in our neighborhood. Peyton was surrounded by by all the disney princesses and I'm sure that Ethan didn't mind being the only little boy. He was absolutly adorable as the Wolf! There are pictures of all the girls sitting around the table eating dinner before we went. It was so cute! You will also see that Ethan is getting bigger. He started eating solids in the last week or so. My little boy is growing up! :( He absolutly loves eating, he can't get enough. Peyton even likes to feed him so I snapped a couple of pictures of her helping me feed her little brother. I hope you are all doing well. We are rapidly approaching our moving day which is both exciting yet horribly depressing! We have been living among boxes and can honestly say that it's a little overwhelming but we know that the Lord still has a perfect will and we are at peace knowing that we are in it!
More pics!
Hi everyone!
I just wanted to update some more pics of the kids. We went to Great Grandpa's home for a Halloween party so you can see some cute pics of Peyton and Ethan as Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf. It was fun, and as always Peyton had a blast. Enjoy the pics!
Big Changes!
Well for those of you who don't know yet we are packing up our family and moving to where the cacti grow...Arizona!!!! Jeff's job is relocating him which we are so thankful that he has a job. We know that the Lord is faithful and that His plans are better than our plans and so we are following where we believe the Lord wants us....for now anyway. We do believe that it's a temporary move and plan on coming back to Cali in a few years but for now we are packing up our beloved house and leaving it for some close friends to enjoy (thanks Justin, Katelyn and Joel)! As always the Lord has everything planned out so perfectly because not only did he provide renters for our home but he is moving us to where my momma lives, which just makes some of the saddness a little bit easier to forget. We will be moving the middle of November so until then we will continue to enjoy our home, our family and friends, and of course of beloved church! Below are some pics of the kids, just being themselves. They are so entertaining and they make each other laugh all day. There also pics of when we went to Bishops pumpkin farm with Marilyn and Carl. We had a blast and we were all exhausted at the end of the day. Enjoy all the pics!
Hi everyone!
I just wanted to add some more pictures to the website for you to enjoy. You will see that Ethan is now enjoying all his little toy contraptions. He loves his johnny jump up and he rolled over from his back to his belly just the other day. He is getting so big and when he is in his crib he can almost pull himself up on all fours like he's ready to take off and crawl....hopefully that's still some time away! Peyton is a character in herself. She is constantly talking and her favorite thing to do is put on her shoes (on the right feet and everything) and stand by the door (which she can unlock and open), with her purse on her shoulders and she says " Mom, I want to gooooo". She is always wanting to do something...she's a very busy little girl. Just the other day I was cooking dinner and looked over at the table and she had gotten 3 napkins and a bunch of spoons to set the table...it was absolutly adorable...she was so proud of herself. :) Well we hope that you enjoy the pictures.
4 months old and counting!
I just wanted to update you with some pictures of our family. It seems like every time I get a chance to sit down and upload pictures something takes that time away. I finally had the chance and thought I better update this now or I will never get a chance too. As you can see from the pics both Peyton and Ethan are growing like weeds!! Peyton has a personality beyond what I can put into words and Ethan is the sweetest little boy ever. He is incredibly laid back and smiles and talks all the time. He loves looking around at everything and I'm sure that if he could talk he would say often..." Mommy save me Peyton is running towards me at full speed". Jeff and I can't help but marvel at the fact that the Lord would bestow upon us such blessings in these two little people. We continue to pray that we are faithful to raise them up in His word and faithful to teach and show them what living for Christ looks like (and believe me we need all the prayer we can get!! :)) We hope that you enjoy the pictures.
Pictures, Pictures and more Pictures
So I can't help snapping pictures all day long. I like to know that I am capturing as many memories as possible because boy, are they growing up fast. Ethan is 3 months old and as happy as ever. He loves to socialize. He will laugh and grin at you for as long as you have time to visit with him. He's getting stronger and stronger by the day and we just started putting him in his play suacer, which is likes because he can be upright like everyone else. Peyton also enjoys it ( she climbed inside it while I was putting Ethan down for a nap, of course she couldn't get our on her own, so I heard "Mommy help" about a million times).Ethan still perfers his tummy to his back...I can't wait to see him roll over. Peyton is definitly 2. She is starting to talk more and more each day. And she loves to sing...of course she's making up her own songs. She started going to the 2's and 3's class at church on Sunday. I felt like my little girl was all grown up with those big kids all around her. She had a blast and learned about Abraham. I can finally get her hair in a ponytail (as you can see from the pics below) and you can see her first time getting ready to go to church as a big girl...she brought her purse ( which had a bink in it just in case!) :) Enjoy the pics...we miss you all.
Peyton is 2!!
Well it's official our little girl is now 2. She definitly knows what to do as a 2 year old! :) She is keeping us busier than ever but we love every second we spend with her. She is a great big sister. She loves her brother so much and she tries to take care of him as much as possible. Below are some wonderful pictures of her birthday. We had a party with our family and friends, Nana and Papa Emi came to visit. Grandpa Weirich came up as well as Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Jenny with Cousins Katie, Talie and Jason. Jeff and I took Peyton and Ethan to Fairytale town on Peyton's actual birthday. Peyton had a blast running around and playing. Enjoy the pics. We miss you all.
Life has been moving!
We can't believe that in less than a week Peyton will be two! Ethan is almost 3 months old. Where does the time go. :) We have had a busy few weeks and there are lots of pictures for all of you to see. Ethan got to go to the ocean for the first time with our youth group. We had our summer camping trip in Monterey, of course we stayed in a hotel with out little one! Peyton stayed home with Grammie and Grandpa and had a blast with them. In the pictures you will see how big our two little ones are getting. Ethan is sleeping well through the night now...yippy! Now all we have to do is get him in Peyton's room and we will be good. You will also see my new car...snazzy huh? The Lord just happened to put us in the right place at the right time to find that sweet deal! We are feeling more blessed than ever and we are so thankful that the Lord's will is better than ours. Have a great week and enjoy all the pics. We love you all and miss you.
2 months old!
Ethan is now 2 months old and he finally started sleeping thru the night...yeah!!! I think I was just really spoiled with Peyton! :) It's been a busy couple of weeks. Ethan has been smiling more and more and Peyton is becoming more and more helpful. She loves to put his bink in when it falls out of his mouth...of course every now and then she runs away with it and sticks in her mouth. She is getting bigger and bigger by the day...I can't believe my little girl is going to be two. She even holds up her fingers and says two! In the pictures you'll see her swimming with our friend Jacquelyn and loving on her brother. You will also see our recent trip to Folsom Zoo with Laura and Caleb. They had fun together and then afterwards we played on the water mat because it was a very hot day. Enjoy
Family fun
For the fourth of July we traveled down to Bakersfield to visit family. Ethan got to meet his new cousin Jason who was only two weeks old and Will ( my stepbrother) announced his engagement to his girlfriend, cherry. It was an exciting time and Peyton enjoyed all the attention and the company of her cousins Katie and Talia. Grandma Weirich pitched a tent and had a sleepover with the girls fourth of july night...of course Peyton only made it about an hour out there because the fireworks were so loud! The next moring she had breakfast outside with her cousins and enjoyed the nice weather. Ethan is getting bigger and we are starting to be more on a schedule. Life seems to be settling down and I can't believe that Ethan will be eight weeks on sat. Well enjoy all the pics.
Six weeks old and counting!
Ethan is now six weeks old and he is starting to be more alert. He started grinning at us and it absolutly melts our hearts. We've been staying busy and cool now that the heat has hit this summer. Miss Brianna went swimming with us over at Grandmas and Grandpas. Peyton loves the water and is fearless! Miss Jacquelyn comes over and visits us a lot. :) These girls are a tremendous blessing to me! Ethan also took his first road trip. We went up to Reno to visit Kristi. It was a nice change of scenery. When we got there her and my friend Melody had decorated and got a cake to celebrate Ethan. It was so sweet and thoughtful. Peyton got to play with her friends and we had a nice visit. Overall we are adjusting and getting back into more of a routine. Enjoy the pictures.
4 weeks...
I can't believe Ethan is now 4 weeks old. It feels like we just brought him home. Anyway I just wanted to add some more pictures for all of you to enjoy. Ethan is getting bigger and Peyton is still enjoying her little brother although there are occasions where I catch her plotting an evil plan against him :) She is definitly almost 2! I'm definitly exhausted but I'm enjoying being a mommy of two and I know that this is just a short season in our lives while we have 2 very young ones. Enjoy the pics!
Keeping busy
Ethan is now 3 weeks old. I can't believe how time flies by. In the last couple of weeks I have learned that it's not in my own strength that I get thru my days successfully but only thru the strength of the Lord. His mercies have definilty been new every morning and I am so thankful for a faithful God! Peyton has definitly been showing her independence and I am learning that I need to keep her busy to stay out of trouble! We went to Bouce Town, which is right by our house, with the Voile clan (6 little girls) and Peyton absolutly loved it. She is definitly fearless and wanted to go on every place structure that was there, and of course she wanted to do it all by herself. We will definitly be visiting there again. We also went to one of my girlfriend's house to play. Peyton loved the trampolene! We are keeping busy and enjoying every moment. I hope that you enjoy the pictures!
One Week Old!
Well we have made it thru our first week as parents of two children. :) Ethan is a week old and he is on a great schedule. He had his days and nights flipped for a couple of days but now he is doing well.:) Peyton is definitly testing her limits but she is proving to be a wonderful big sister. She loves to hold Ethan and she gives him lots of kisses. Of course we have to watch her like a hawk because she would love to wrap her arms around Ethan and try to pick him up all by herself.I will continue to update pictures as much as I can so that all of you can see our little boy and girl grow.
