Welcome
Commander’s Welcome
Welcome to the home page of the Central Virginia CVMA Chapter 27-3.
“Veterans helping Veterans”
We represent our Brothers and Sisters in arms and their families, Past, Present, and Future. To this end, we hold ourselves to the highest of standards as we understand our responsibility to those that went before us. We embody the customs and traditions of Military Service Veterans.
Our goals are to make sure that:
1.) No Veteran Ever comes home as a second class citizen again!
2.) Our wounded warriors, elderly, or otherwise incapacitated Veterans have the support, counsel, and camaraderie that they need and deserve.
3.) Our deploying and redeploying troops are sent off or welcomed with open arms, gratitude, and honor.
4.) Last but certainly not least, that our fallen comrades are honored as they should be, as they have given their Last Full Measure in ultimate sacrifice for our country….
We honor and respect our Prisoners of War and those still Missing in Action…
To those that went before us, we say "Job well done!"
To those who come behind us, we say "Keep it up!"
To those with us, we say "Thank you, Brother/Sister."
To every veteran we say "Welcome Home."
With Respect,
Jake “Doozer” Morano
Chapter Commander, CVMA 27-3
Veterans By C.D.Jackson on 10/27/12
a bright and sunny veterans day,,,, masks the thoughts of more than one i'd say.
some served in peacetime, some served in war,,,, some gave their time and some gave more.
memories caress the depths of the mind,,,, slowly drifting back to another time.
remembering friends both present and past,,,, the thoughts rushing back so incredibly fast.
men and women who risk harms way,,,, never realizing the price that they'd pay.
they put on the uniform and took the dare,,,, now far too many with that 1000 yard stare.
she never imagined it would be her fate,,,, or that the burden could possibly be so great.
he quickly looks away into the distant sky,,,, as far away thought brings a tear to the eye,
they left hearth and home to serve our nation,,,, lets give them all our heart felt congratulations,
a heroes welcome they all deserve,,,, lets pay homage to ALL who served

Who we are
We are an Association of Combat Veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. Our mission now is to support and defend those who have defended our country and our freedoms. Our focus is to help veteran care facilities provide a warm meal, clothing, shelter, and guidance, or simply to say "Thank You." and "Welcome Home."
Our membership is comprised of Full Members ( those with verified combat service ) and Supporter Members ( those who have non-combat military service, and have a sincere dedication to helping veterans ). We have members from nearly all 50 states and living abroad. Many members continue to serve in our Armed Forces, with several serving in combat areas now.
We sponsor and/or participate in many motorcycle-related charity events each year, and as a non-profit organization, donate to various veteran care facilities and veteran charities.
