We spent out first 2 nights here. It was clean, quiet and we felt at ease here. We were so happy to have the space.

Clean and worked well--had a tub with a shower.

Beds were very comfortable.
Kitchen was clean & modern
but was VERY sparse-4 chipped plates & bowls, basic flatware, glasses, 2 pans/pots, some utensils a toaster and kettle.

It didn't bother us--afterall we were in a big city. It looked as if work was being done on it inside the apartments.

For a Hyundai! 2x as much as it would be in the US. The duty on cars is outrageous in Ireland.
Lough Derg
Near Ballina, on Johnny's Magical Mystery Tour of the countryside. We went about 140 kilometers out of our way, lol.

They houses were very nice, modern, warm and clean! No complaints--we'd all stay again.

The only thing it missed was a radio/stereo--there was no music. We had 3 stations shown on 87 channels, lol.

We thought this had a double down here, but it was only a twin. All 3 houses we had were the same-oh well.

The site was originally a Viking camp est in 970. This si the last of 4 castles built here and was FANTASTIC!

It's paved, and dimly lit, they even turn out hte lights at one point. It was great-we'd do it again.
