fer those of you who have taken the time to keep up with me on this, i will fill you in:) broken back in early feburary, (t-10 compression fracture), yeast fungal stomach infection that almost killed me, enlarged liver, some thyroid stuff, lost one of my closest skiing buddies, and now trying to get over my heart being bashed to pieces (jeanie and i are not.). it's been a rough one, but life is not for the weak of heart, and change is always good too. moving on to the next thing is gunna be exciting, plannin on staying in big sky for the summer and the next winter, but being down here on the beach in NC with my sister Hope is great right now and the perfect remedy for anything. bought a plane ticket and just went. the ocean has a way of fixin things fer ya:) all worries seem to go away and "everything is gunna be alright" :) hahaha iv got good spirits on my side and nothing can bring me down! already gained back 15 pounds (lost 45 from the stomach thing). and i feel like im about to be in the best shape iv been in in years. i lost ALL my body fat and am gainin errythang back!  its funny cause i can tank icecream and all kinds of junk (safe junk) food.  Hiedi and vinke are coming down tonight and that will be good to see them fo sho.  

so last couple of days in AK! it has been gorgeous! sunsets are outta control and the tides are SO high. we'll be selling the van hopefully in the next few days, but if we cant then we'll just leave her here for the next people:) so, washington state and montana next!!! bring it on WINTER!!!!!!!!!!!

  so, lately, jeanie and i have purchased a 1973 dodge 15passenger van! actually that was about 3 weeks ago. we have since turned the van into our house. it has a luv seat from the seventies in it, a table, and a bed that i have made out of two pallets. and of course, storage under the bed. it is great. we can drive it anywhere and live anywhere. take a look at the pics of it. i'll get better ones soon though. it also has a 318 V8 in it! she's cherry.
  the fishing has been pretty good when i get the chance to go. caught a few big ones recently though. the king was about 40 pounds. also have been catchin' halibut, silver salmon, sockeyes (reds), dolly vardon and some others. goin' across the bay tomorrow mornin to fish some more reds. the limit is 6 daily now (they are all averaging 25-30 inches) pretty satisfied with the fishin up here!
        it looks like were are going to stay up here and ski in Alyeska, AK for the winter. but that of course is subject to change at any time:) we are living out of the van now, but are aiming to get out of that come winter. we will see.........

well, we are still alive. the car has since left us, (broken frame) it's on craigslist if you want to make an offer:) now we are in search of a new project, a van. and it is gunna be a sweet one when were are done with it! lotta crazy stuff goin on right now but it will iron itself out in time. life is fast paced at the job i have. i unload fish on the docks and carry them up to the processing company i work for. 100lb totes all day, running up ramps, i should be getting in shape soon:) thinking of moving on though, maybe up the state just a bit, we feel like we might need a litttle change of scenery and excitement:)  more later......

so, we made it here last week some time.....flew into anchorage and bought a car a few hours after we landed. found a subie wagon (4x4) for $800. was crazy how it all fell together. farted around anchorage for awhile then we started making out way down to home on the Kenai Peninsula. we had to rough it for a few days and live out of the subie til we found a place to live. we ended up hookin up with this guy how wanted to rent his one room in this little cabin for $388 a month (odd number cause Russian superstition) well, it turned out that he needed alot of work done on the cabin and the one next to it. so, long story short, he hired us to work on his cabin and his land to pay for rent and extra money as well, so it worked out pretty good. this place has the craziest view and the pictures can't do it justice. there are glaciers and volcanoes all around us, it is the sweetest!!!! ak is huge by the way. the fishing is pretty sweet too! there are so many different kinds of species up here. some kinda remind me of dinosuars. (the Irish lord) it's great, cause we don't really have to buy any food at all. jeanie and i both love eating fish, so it works out great. i'll be putting the pics of the salmon and flounder and others up later. but for now, hey to all of you!, and i'll try to stay more current. 

well, montana to this date has been a fun time and i hope i can go back for a bit. but for now i am going to alaska and will be there till septemberish. the fish just arnt big enough here anymore:) my partner in crime is Jeanie Clements who i met this season in Whitefish. we are trouble, thats for sure. she's a kool kat. anyway, when we come back from AK, we might go to Germany next just for a bit. who knows? and its fun to toy with the idea of backpacking europe in the near future also. we'll see when september comes and what kind of crazy people we might meet along the way,... who might change our direction. just wing'n it fer now:)  ------------------------------------------->*))))><
