Voice of the Prophet - danielwongs

Welcome

And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions. (Joel 2:28)

Voice of The Prophet

Valuing His Acts
For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
(1 Corinthians 13:9-12)

The acts of God are signs that reveal His nature. Love, healing, deliverance, providence, protection are some of His natures. He doesn't only love us but He is love. He doesn't only give healing, He is healing. He doesn't only deliver us from bondage, He is deliverance. He isn't just the protector but He is our protection. He is not our provider, He is providence. In other words, signs and wonders are a reality leading to a greater reality, the knowledge of Himself.

[Exodus 3:1-4]

Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”

So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”

And he said, “Here I am.”

Moses was an example of a man that understood the importance of valuing an act of God so much so that when He saw a seemingly natural phenomena (a burning bush) he paused and turned aside. The difference between Moses and most Christians is, Moses turned. And sometimes the action of pausing what we do on our daily routine and turning our thoughts and affection to Him is what leads us to an encounter with His nature. It is His acts that leads us to a direct encounter with His nature.

In a season of great encounters and testimonies of healings, deliverance, supernatural providence and favor, let us never stop hungering for more. Let us not put a value on what is a bigger miracle or a lesser miracle. Let us continue to celebrate His acts, even the tiniest of things. Let us take on the posture of children being excited by what the Father has to give. Valuing His acts leads us to an encounter with His nature.

'THAT'S A GOOD WORD RIGHT THERE'
The renewed mind sees potential in a moment.
Bill Johnson

2011 - My E2 Summary
I started off the year halfway into reading a book titled 'Face to Face with God' by Bill Johnson. Throughout the time reading this book, my hunger and thirst for God was at an all time high. In other words, I was desperate for God. I was desperate to see the all illusive "face of God".

Three months passed where life and ministry were at a steady pace. Some good happenings where I saw some souls being saved through my disciples such as Miikael and Chris Chua recommitting his life to Jesus in January. A girl named Nanthini was also saved and began to see visions and hear God's voice. In February we saw another girl accepting Christ into her life called Yi Xin and an unchurch Christian named Vyonne came to church and experienced God real in her life as well.

I also was appointed to serve as the Worship Coordinator for my local church's worship squad. It has been an honor and privilege to lead a wonderful group of revivalist the past year. (Here's a side note that came to mind while writing this post. God spoke to me 6 years back that I would lead a worship team and 6 years later without me imposing anything or promoting myself, here I am. That's what you call a fulfillment of a vision being impregnated in your heart for a period of time.)

Through all this excitement and new people and tasks coming across my life, I still was in a state of desperation for a personal encounter with the face 'I AM'.

On March the 3-5, I was told by my dad that he got some free registration for a conference in Singapore and he wanted me and my brother to go with him. I heard that the speaker would be Randy Clark and at that time I didn't know who this person was except that I heard rumors that this man was the "si-fu" of Bill Johnson (the guy that wrote the book I was reading). Honestly, I was pretty hesitant to go because by nature I HATE TRAVELLING!!!
But by force I was shipped off to Singapore against my will (these are the times where your leader/father knows what's best for you).

On the first day of the conference we got our conference's tag and it wrote "Healing & Impartation 2011". I was thinking to myself, "Great. Something I already know and practice. This is gonna be a waste of time". Little did I know what was about to happen next would change my life forever. Thank God for His grace but I think by this time I was at His mercy.

To cut the long story short, at the end of one of the sessions called 'Baptism of the Spirit', the feeling of being desperate to meet God face to face started bubbling in my spirit again. With my hands raised in desperation and my eyes closed, I was hit by the power of God and my whole body started to shake uncontrollably. It was not long that I heard people crying and noises on the floor as if things were dropping (they were humans). I believe that a massacre happened that day where many people died to the world and resurrected alive in God. After the whole trip to Singapore, I wondered to myself, "Will anything change this time?" You have to understand that I've been a Christian since I was in my mother's womb and I have encounter the tangible presence of God many times in my life. That is why this question came to mind.

It was exactly a month later, on April the 6th, as we were worshiping in church in the morning that I saw two angels in the form of a whirlwind spinning around the church hall violently. It was a shocking phenomenon as I was standing in awe. Then Jesus appeared to me, standing in front of me. I went straight to hug Him as soon as I saw Him and I went into His being and He into me. He also gave me some things to bring back home. I won't go into the details of what they are for but in all He gave me 3 things - a pair of boots, a purple robe with golden inlays and an necklace of an emblem of promise that He is always with me. I then turned around and as I started to stride off, I turned into a black stallion and I was then in the church hall again.

As the day went by, my memory of what had happened was still so clear in my mind. I hadn't even given time to think whether it was my own imagination or was it a vision or "WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED?!", that it was already the next day - 7th of April, the day of the outbreak of glory invasion church wide.

Here are some of the dates that I managed to record down when I had glory encounters (by the way, 2011 was also the year I started using a diary. Started using in January before all of these things. What a year to start heh?) - 6-10 April, 15-17 April, 22 April, 24 April, 27 April, 29 April, 1 May, 20 May, 27 May, 21 June, 3 July, 10 July, 15 July, 29 July, 7 August, 26 August (multiple times), 16 September, 16 December. All these has made my relationship with God grow into an intimacy like never before. Prophecies through me are sharper than ever, His revelations quicker and clearer than ever, my identity surer than ever, my inner world "kingdomized" than ever and His perfect love and affection for me tangible than ever before.

I also was privileged and blessed throughout the year to have gone to a few more conference by sought after fivefold leaders such as James Goll (Open Heaven Conference, Singapore), Dan MacCollam (School of Supernatural Ministry, Singapore) and Rodney Howard Brown & David Newberry (Asia Ablaze, Malaysia). WHC Wind & Fire Camp was also a great time of ministering and soaking (I don't have much to say about the camp because I was serving and doing the games most part of it. I have lots of joy from this too because everyone had a GG time - Grace & Glory time).

I was also blessed to sit under some superb heavenly revelation Sunday after Sunday by our senior church leaders, David & Gloria Wong. Sermons such as 'Shema Shema-A Hearing Heart', 'The Former and Latter Rain', 'The Acts of the Holy Spirit', 'Deeply Loved, Highly Favored, Richly Blessed, Powerfully Anointed, Always Successful', 'A Transformed Mind', still ringing bells in me.

The end of the year was now my time to be the revivalist. I thank God and still do for giving me an opportunity to speak to a youth camp last December. It was a glorious time where I witness youths being impacted by the glory and grace of God. The fire of the Holy Spirit was moving and by the end of the camp, we saw miracles of uneven legs growing, people seeing angels and heaven for the first time in their life and mindsets of old being broken and replaced with the kingdom perspective.

Many others were also added to the kingdom of God. Around 18 people were saved through my disciples. Many people think that I am a great leader but truth be told, that is only part of the equation. The other half of it is I have wonderful disciples. My job is fairly easy because of such humble and sacrificial people. Just right qualities for revivalists in the making.

I want to give thanks for the past year and be fully satisfied by it but still ravenously hungry for Him this year. I believe that this is the year of fulfillment and the start of a perpetual unstoppable jubilee. This is the year of the end of the world and the beginning of the kingdom. I would like to end this post with the offering statement we read in church. Let it be a value system we subconsciously live by and not just a lifeless repetition. Let's read it out together :D

Ready? 1... 2... go!

As we go through this year
We are believing You for:

Heaven opened, Earth Invaded
Storehouses unlocked, and Miracles created;
Dreams and Visions, Angelic Visitations
Declarations, Visitations, and Divine Manifestations,
Anointing, Gifting, and Calls,
Positions, and promotions,
Provisions and Resources,
to go to the nations;
Souls and more souls,
from every generations,
Saved and set free,
Carrying Kingdom revelation!

Thank You, Father, that as I join my value system to Yours, You will shower FAVOR, BLESSINGS and INCREASE upon me so I have more than enough to co-labor with Heaven and see JESUS get His FULL REWARD.
Hallelujah!!!!!!

Sustaining A Supernatural Environment
As the year comes to a close, I personally am bracing myself for what is to come in 2012. Some beliefs say that 2012 will be the end of the world. I personally believe so too. I believe that 2012 will be the end of the world and the beginning of a worldwide kingdom invasion. A worldwide jubilee, revival!

The word wineskin has kept popping up in recent weeks since my trip to Frasers Hill (it was a blast seeing what God was doing at the TOD Youth Camp). Matthew, Mark and Luke recorded this event where Jesus mentions about the wineskin and it is important to take note at what Jesus said (Matthew 9:16-17, Mark 2:21-23, Luke 6:36-38).

I believe that the outpouring of the knowledge (experiential knowledge) of God and His kingdom signals a need to reconstruct our lives and the way we govern our ministry. Ephesians 4:11 talks about the Church and how it is to function and 1 Corinthians 12:27-28 states an order of governance. We must not ignore Scripture and use templates gleaned from earth's governors in an attempt to replicate Heaven. Only Heaven's template can reproduce Heaven on the earth.

Here are some excerpts from the book 'Culture of Honor' by Danny Silk.

When we use other models, the Church becomes no more than what people already expect from their earthly experience. This is a huge and fundamental mistake, with serious consequences. I think we've been duped! When we use man's governing systems to define or reproduce Heaven, we've started down the path of implementing an inferior system. This will not only not reproduce Heaven but create a dysfunctional culture. Heaven will not conform to or replicate an inferior system. Heaven must be the source.

I've heard Bill Johnson say many times, "Jesus is perfect theology." I agree. If we see Jesus doing it, then we are on to something good. If He wasn't doing anything like what we are doing, we'd better ask ourselves, "What went wrong?"

I believe as we end this year, let us re-align our lives to not only what God has spoken but what God is speaking!

For the move of the Holy Spirit to perpetuate, we must constantly have a reconstruction of our internal world to the form of Heaven. We are the other side of Heaven!

I highly encourage and urge anyone of you reading this post to read and re-read and meditate on the 2nd chapter of the book 'Culture of Honor'. This is the time and season for what is written there to be read. Be blessed as we move into new things and sustaining a supernatural culture!

Rainbows and Sunshine
As the close of the year is just around the corner. Many people look back at the year only to hope that next year will be better. It's been such a difficult year for me and seems like the passion for love has left me and hurts seem to be the current reality that could prolong. But I know that God has cornered me to deal with my problems and issues rather than just sliding them under the carpet and pretend they aren't there. I realized that the human heart can only take so much before it explodes. Because of issues that are not dealt with, things will only go from small mistakes to big problems. A wrong definition of "dealing with hurts" would be "moving on". Moving on does not take you to use your mind or heart and it certainly is far from actually dealing with the issues. In fact, you'll be deceiving yourself and problems, like garbage, over time, will turn from bad to worse. Bringing things before God actually does take boldness because when weaknesses are exposed, we might "look funny" and the hurts feel so real. And we can come to His throne boldly because it is a throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Often people evaluate whether a year was good by how much money they have in their bank account, or how smooth things went their way but sometimes the worst happenings in a year turn out to be the best things that could happen to us in our life time. We can't determine the outcome of tomorrow by the pain we suffer today. Jesus encouraged us not to worry about tomorrow since today has enough of its own problems (Matthew 6:34). Why do we need to deal with these problems? Coz' we will either be slaves to guilt and pain or be free to celebrate life. So, choose!

As for me I don't know when I'll be fine again but I have to trust God that He is watching over me and He is in control. I know that my measure of being out of control cannot be equated with any standard of love, hope and faith He puts on me. Even for a prophet, we don't see everything. Thanks Papa that you're not a prophet, You are YAHWEH!

Lets keep our hearts open before Him because Jesus is the only one that can set us free from pain. Don't bottle up and think that hopefully things will get better. You need to do something. You need to come to Him. Jesus isn't a pain killer, He is a pain healer!

Life will never be free from problems but let us always know that after tears are smiles, after rains are rainbows, after storms are sunshine.

If you've read this post and feel something burning it your heart, feel free to contact me. :)

'SAY - LAH (SELAH)'

Having God fearing friends and accountability to leaders are a great benefit in hard times. :D

Open To All, Closed To Everyone

One passage in the Bible that has become one of my favorite stories is that of Luke 24, the road to Emmaus. Recently I came across verse 45 of the chapter and it really popped out, so to speak, and made me really excited to get it's meaning and a question came to mind, "HOW DID HE OPEN THEIR UNDERSTAND!?". The reason that got me really excited is that Jesus promised us in John 14:12 that we would do greater works than Him. So I must say that the thought of being able to partake in what Jesus did in Luke 24 would be an awesome inheritance.

As how I usually get some reference, I checked out my all-time favorite blog http://skipmoen.com. I was very excited to have found something Skip wrote about Luke 24:45 when I typed in his search engine 'Luke 24:25' and 2 articles/post were found. Here's what he says,

1st post: THE FIRST FRUITS OF THOUGHTS

Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45

Opened – Oh, how I wish I had been there. These two men, walking from one village to another, encounter the greatest teacher of all time. As they follow the dusty road, he begins to explain the Scriptures to them. He opens their minds. The Greek verb dianoigo has the nuance of opening something for the first time (see Luke 2:23). These Jewish men, trained in the Scriptures all their lives, understood for the first time what it really meant. For years they knew the words, but they were completely ignorant of the meaning. Now Jesus reveals to them what was previously hidden. Suddenly they see.

Aren’t we just like that? We know the history. We know the stories. We think we have the theological arguments in place. We follow the rules. But our minds are closed. Until we have an encounter with the living Lord, until Jesus comes to us and explains the hidden message of His suffering and death, we just carry around a book filled with religious words. Without the illumination of the Spirit, we just don’t get it. We can have all the right propositions, all the right religious rules, even the right theology, but our minds are still closed. It takes a walk with Jesus to give us spiritual enlightenment.

The Bible is the strangest book in the world. It contains God’s essential message to Man. It is crucial for life, here and beyond. But it is a closed book to those who are not touched by the Spirit. You can read and read and read, but without God’s involvement, you will come up empty. This is the only book in the world that is open to all and closed to everyone. “Let him who has ears hear” describes each of us. We all have ears, but our physical apparatus is of no value in this process unless it is accompanied by a spiritual component. Then we actually hear the text.

Don’t imagine that you can simply read a passage in Scripture and understand it. God’s message to men and women requires the agency of the Spirit and the receptivity of a humble heart. When you pick up this book, you need to remember the two men on the road to Emmaus. They knew all the words and yet were completely in the dark. They needed Jesus to open their minds for the first time. So do we.

2nd post: CLOSED SHOP

Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45

Opened Their Minds – Luke expresses the thought in a truly Greek way. “Opened their minds” is the Greek phrase dienoizen auton ton noun. Literally, it is “he opened up the mind of them.” That’s interesting, isn’t it? The pronoun (auton) is plural but the noun (ton noun) is singular. Even in this Greek construction, we see a Hebrew perspective. The verse does not say that Jesus opened each one of their individual minds. It says that He opened up the collective understanding. The truth was revealed to them as a unit, not as individuals in the unit. When we translate this verse, we move the meaning to a Greek worldview. So we convert the group consciousness to individual apprehension. What Jesus says is revealed in community, not in individuals. That’s important, especially in a culture where individualism reigns supreme even in religious experience.

The Greek verb is dianoigo. It implies opening up what was closed. It is used to describe the experience of a firstborn child – to open the womb for the first time. In the LXX, it translates the Hebrew word paqah. This verb is often used to describe the experience of seeing something that was hidden. When Jesus causes His disciples to “get it,” they suddenly discover what was there all the time. It was just hidden from their understanding.

The implication is actually rather staggering. This event occurs after the disciples are fully aware of the resurrection. These men had studied the Hebrew Bible all their lives. They learned to read from its texts. They heard it read aloud every Sabbath. They probably were more acquainted with Scripture than any ordinary Christian today. But they still didn’t see the bigger picture. They were eye witnesses to the greatest manifestation of God in history and they didn’t understand what it meant. Jesus had to open up their minds.

What this means is that Scripture is not apprehended by intellectual prowess alone. Scholars do not command exclusive rights to spiritual wisdom. Why? Because the truth of God’s Word lies hidden until the Spirit opens a passageway into a person. It’s perhaps ironic that the oldest form of the Hebrew language is pictographic. Like Egyptian hieroglyphics, early Hebrew used symbols to represent letters. The consonants DRB make up the word dabar (which means “word”). The pictograph carries the meaning “a door into a person.” God’s Word is an opening into me, but it will never be what it is supposed to be until God opens the door. This is not the picture of Jesus knocking. This is a picture of the active word, pushing aside the door to enter into me. What this means is straightforward. You will never understand what the Bible is saying unless God opens the pathway into your consciousness.

You can’t get it by reading, studying and memorizing. Without the Spirit’s intervention, the door stays closed. Maybe reading your Bible needs to start with something besides opening the book.

Here are 2 scriptures to really bring everything into perspective.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. (Luke 10:21)

Brethren, do not be children in understanding; however, in malice be babes, but in understanding be mature. (1 Corinthians 14:20)

Bill Johnson wrote a one-liner recently on his Facebook page, 'Gifts are free, maturity is expensive'.

Truly our Father hides things for us not from us :D

Living In Godliness

I've been studying and reading about this word godliness recently. And I've come to realise that many people have been living their live contrary to the word 'godliness' that was used by Jesus and various apostles such as Paul and Peter. Thanks to a curriculum that my dad wrote called 'Discipleship 200' under the chapter 'Kingdom Qualities', I'll be writing many things base on that, a very good book indeed.

The word 'godliness' in Greek that they used often in text such as 2 Peter 1:5-7, Titus 1:1, 1 Timothy 4:6-8, 1 Timothy 6:3-5 and etc. was the word eusebeia which means a true and vital/essential relation with God.

It is the opposite of the word threskeia, meaning an outward act of religious observances or ceremonies.

In Acts 10:1-4, we see a centurion named Cornelius that was a devout (Gk: eusebus) man which God was so pleased with that He sent an angel to tell him that his prayers and alms were acceptable before Him. In other words, this guy Cornelius was a person that went to church every week, never skipped any prayer meetings, gave his tithes and offerings regulary, reads his Bible everyday, probably fasted very often too and there was a special celebration, a festival you might say, in heaven because of his deeds. Seems pretty obvious hes a "godly" man and God sent him an angel to praise him coz he's doing all these "religious" stuff. But before we come to any hasty conclusion about what's upon God's mind, we see so often Jesus rebuking the superficial charitable deeds, prayer, and fasting of the religious people of Jesus' day (Matthew 6:1-17).

The final stage of maturity of threskeia is fanaticism. An extreme pride for one's conviction.

Now, the attitude of Cornelius was an important factor in the whole process. He was a eusebus man. He wasn't athreskeia sort of person. In Acts, you will come across that Cornelius did things because he feared God. In other words he didn't do all this things so people could see how "faithful" he was. He simply gave and worshipped because he had a true and a vital relation with God. He loved God because he loved God. Nothing more nothing less. He had a relationship with the Almighty God. A relationship that he understood was special to him and that it didn't matter what people thought of him but what God thought of him. He didn't give in to the pressure of what people thought of him. He didn't try to prove anything before God because he knew that he was already in a relationship. He wasn't doing all those stuff because he needed recognition. He didn't do all those stuff because he needed God to notice him or love him more.

Religion is working for something you already got by relationship. Cornelius knew that very well!

Godliness is always and will always be eusebeia. A wonderful relation with our Father in heaven, our Creator.

I hope your blesse by this note. For further in depth in thought of this subject, check out the 'Discipleship 200' book. I'll try to get better at my writing and maybe add in a few personal encounters of my own in the next edit.

You'll surely be blessed by this amazing teacher. God bless!

Interested in the original Bible language?
I found a very cool website recently as I was searching for the Hebrew word for prophet, naba, on google. The site by a man called Skip Moen, is really helpful if you're interested in getting the raw authentic essence of certain words in Hebrew and Greek. I for one am very into authentic word study because it draws me closer to the heart of the one I'm pursuing in relationship and as a teacher of the word of God, I don't wanna get my doctrines messed up right?
I love the caption of his website, 'Recovering the intent of God's Scriptures, one Hebrew or Greek word at a time'. Awesome site indeed.
I recommend this site to any pursuing lover of God and if you want to get better, more authentic and accurate in teaching the word of God, I highly recommend this site.

Here's the link to the website.

I've also updated my website and you can now watch messages that I've preached there. I hope you'll be blessed and empowered as you tune in to them. God Bless

How Can I Please God?

How can I please God? A defining moment question in any believers life.

Firstly, as humans, we naturally go through a "response-cycle". We noticed something (it may be a problem or it may be a positive ligetimate question) > we ask a question > we formulate an answer > we act accordingly. Secondly, what does God look at? Outward actions or heart (attitude, character, mindset)? Obviously the answer is, He looks at our heart. By understanding first these two points, we then can answer the question.

Character, attitude and mindsets are very important factors in our Christian life. We got saved by accepting Jesus into our lives and our nature changed, from sinners to saints. But attitude, character and mindset (ACM) change/transform as a process. One key factor of pleasing Him is being humble (teachable, correctable, moldable, changeable). Letting Him have complete say over our dreams and "5 year plans" will definitely please Him. Jesus is the perfect example.

He prayed in the garden of Gethsemane before He was crucified, "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” (Luke 22:42). So, letting Him invade our lives (hurts, fears, comfort zone included) is something that will please Him.

Sadly many Christians respond wrongly. Instead of letting God invade their souls and transform their ACM, they instead focus on actions rather than the heart issue. Being occupied by activities or even ministry does not settle the heart issue. Only in the light of Jesus there can be restoration and overcoming. The often quoted statement in avoiding the issue of the heart would be, "Don't worry, I can deal with it" or "You don't understand me, I wasn't at fault and he started it" or "You don't know my dad like how I know him".

Let us take the last sentence as an example. Chileab is a 9 year old boy who hates his father because he doesn't spend enough time with him, always isn't at home, and nothing ever seems to meet his father's expectations. Years pass and Leinad hears the gospel and accepts Jesus into his life. Praise the Lord, he is saved! He then grows in the Lord and learns that we should forgive our enemies and love our neighbour as ourselves. Chileab then "deals with the problem" which is to not expect much of his dad coz' he will be disappointed anyway. So to avoid being disappointed, I shall not put my trust in him. To avoid quarrels, I shall just not talk with him. After all I'm now serving in church and I've got God's things to do now. Wow, so smart! NOT!!! My friends, that is not dealing with the problem whatsoever. It's just avoiding the problem.

Avoiding the issue of the heart is not dealing with it. Busying yourself with stuff, even ministry, is not dealing with the problem.

Deal with it....... by letting it expose to the light of Jesus. Acknowledge before Him that you hate your father and let all the memories of the pass surface and forgive him!We should all this.

If that is the case, comes my first point in the first place. Humility. You need to be open to someone for correction, wisdom, accountability, guidance, direction, advice and counsel.

The only people you should be open to correction, counsel, accountability, etc. is someone that does likewise also. Meaning the person you are open to is also humble (teachable, correctable, moldable, changeable), such as your section overseer or your leader if he/she is humble as well (best applied by WHC members).

Well you can, but only if they are humble people (teachable, correctable, moldable, changeable). I don't encourage this.

You have to develop accountability. Accountability is not people who have your same struggles. That's called friends.

The right person

Well if you fail you'll be nervous about telling them. I'm not talking about paranoid. But listen, if you can go "Hey dude, slept with a girl last week man, feel really convicted about that." "Hey no worries man, I've done that before too. I know how that feels." That's not accountability, that's misery loves company.

So what is the conclusion of the matter?

  1. Don't focus on what you should DO to please God, but first let God deal with your heart. Because occupying yourself with activities for God is not the thing that pleases Him and it might lead you into further hurts because the issue of the heart is not dealt with in the first place.
  2. Be open for correction, counsel, direction, etc. from someone spiritually mature (someone that is also teachable, correctable, etc.). Example (for WHC members), your section overseer.

The circle we chose in the 4 spiritual laws booklet was not just a formula to get into heaven. It was a road to becoming a perfect man (Eph 4:13 aka 'maturity' in NIV). Lets not forget this and put ourselves back on the throne again.

Wasn't simple of an answer was it? :)

False Prophets

It’s been said that God does nothing in the affairs of men except they pray. Prayer is the catalyst for worldwide transformation. Prayer incites the angels, restrains darkness, and releases nations into their destiny. Prayer is the key to revival, building bridges between what should be and what will be.

The devil also knows the power of prayer and he understands that he can’t stop us from praying. But he is the master of deception and he tries to convince us that his destructive schemes are “acts of God” so Believers will not release the arsenal of Heaven against him! Unfortunately, satan has been more successful at deceiving the saints recently than he has for decades. One of the ways he has shrewdly crept into our society is by convincing the Church that it is our responsibility to release the wrath of God against sinners. This authorizes the dethroned prince of darkness to kill, steal and destroy while we stand aside applauding the demise of these ravaged people. To make matters worse, this evil prince frames the Lord of Redemption for his crimes, poisoning the people of His passion, which causes many of them to reject His wedding invitation. Meanwhile, those who have been empowered to police this property lack discernment and assist these angels of light in their killing spree.

There are 2 kinds of false prophets. The first is the example we see is in Acts 16:16-19.

16 Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling. 17 This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.” 18 And this she did for many days.
But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour. 19 But when her masters saw that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities.

This is the first kind of false prophet. The person has a wrong spirit or gift (spirit of divination) and an evil heart. Notice that this particular fortuneteller prophesied correctly! (Well its not hard to predict a crime that if your boss is the one behind the crime).

The second is a classic example from the old testament. The story of Balaam. You can check out the story of Balaam in Numbers 24 & 31. The summary of the story is that Balaam had the correct gift/calling but an evil heart.

It is interesting to know that the heart is what makes a false prophet..... FALSE

What am I trying to say? Are you saying that I'm a false prophet? No. What I'm saying is that you might be influenced by the same spirit a false prophet is influenced by.

Oh ok.... So what to do now?
Simple submit to God resist the devil and he shall flee from you. Meditate on the word of God so that you think in such a way that makes you healthy. This post is to edify and give you grace to escape any trickery and deception from the devil and nothing else besides this point. God bless and may you live in freedom where you are joyful and you make people joyful too. Thats true freedom.

God The Glory Of His People
The sun shall no longer be your light by day,
Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you;
But the LORD will be to you an everlasting light,
And your God your glory.
Your sun shall no longer go down,
Nor shall your moon withdraw itself;
For the Lord will be your everlasting light,
And the days of your mourning shall be ended.
Also your people shall all be righteous;
They shall inherit the land forever,
The branch of My planting,
The work of My hands,
That I may be glorified.
A little one shall become a thousand,
And a small one a strong nation.
I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time.

Just So Awesome
Christmas is around the corner and being excited would be an understatement. I feel like developing a culture of celebrating thanksgiving like the west where families come together to be thankful about things and to appreciate one another.

World Harvest is where I grew up in, met God in, discipled in, evangelized with, learnt prayer, learn forgiveness, hope, love, grace and so many more indescribable experiences. So in this season of Christmas and Thanksgiving, I'd like to thank everyone for loving me despite my character flaws and weaknesses. I wanna thank my parents for teaching me and imparting to me my inheritance. My church buddies that have sticked with me even though challenges are fierce and being just great human beings. My section/cell members, your faith and lives have been such an inspiration to my life and joy to my soul (every single one of you). My youths, instead of teaching you stuff, I've been taught stuff. My colleagues, with you all times of joy always way outnumbers the times of sorrow. My special friend, I have learned and have been transformed by your grace and love. And most of all my Jesus, who is not just a loving God in theory or in a story book but truly ever faithful and good in experience. You deserve all the glory and everything in your light seems insignificant.

À Venir
À Venir wallpaper designed by Dawson Ngu

As Christmas draws nearer, I was reminded of some great happenings 3 years ago. Three years ago was a defining moment that set our church on course, scaling new heights and greater realms of revelation and faith. It was truly the beginning of "new things". We spent 2 months in preparations for our Christmas project, 'À Venir: Christmas Projekt 07'. We went to hospitals, orphanages, singing at BRJ, and many other outreach activities.

A year later it seemed like nothing really changed but now, 3 years later, it is obvious that the hard work, heart and passion put in 3 years ago has all been worthwhile and we are reaping the fruits now. Spiritually and naturally. Sometimes when we don't see things happen in the preferred time we want, we might feel discourage or think the good things we have done in the past were in vain.

The 2007 project was a breakthrough for me looking back now, as I was trapped in fear and failure in praying for the sick for them to be healed. 5 years before that in 2002, me and my friends were playing basketball and one of my friends, our teams center player, a big sized guy you can imagine, landed on someones foot while he was landing from a jump, twisting his ankle and fell, landing on his own arm. He was in great pain and was crying out in agony. He's a Christian by the way. I didn't really know much about healing as I do now, but as a 14 year old boy I went over to touch his hand wanting to pray for him as my other teammates were showing concern. He moved away is arm and screamed "DON'T TOUCH ME!". He obviously didn't know I was gonna pray for him or else he would've let me prayed for him and he would've been healed.
Little did I know this incident actually affected me for a long time. I never prayed for healing for anyone since then. I did pray for fellow brothers and sisters in church but not anyone outside the church or strangers on the street with obvious physical problems.

In 2007 I not only did the comfortable job of the skit director but I decided I would take the step of faith to be part of the hospital visitation team to pray for patients. We didn't know anyone there so it was a meeting random strangers sorta thing. I was nervous and all inside but needed to act normal and cool as I was appointed one of the team leader. I mean who would appoint a guy that has no experience whatsoever in hospital visitations and praying for sick people, no impressive track record and a Chinese guy that speaks extremely limited and lousy Chinese. (But I believe, broken Chinese can heal broken Chinese lives).

I remember the first day there I had Grace as my team assistant. She can speak Mandarin far better than me obviously. So I guess the leadership always thinks thoroughly before they put you as a leader ;)
We met a fairly elderly man maybe around his 60s. It was at the highest floor of the hospital and we met this guy on the bed in one of the wards. He looked fairly alright and after some minutes of talking we told him why were at the hospital. To bring the Christmas cheer and to pray for people to be healed. He then told us with a smiling face to pray for other people that needed it more than him. What kind of fake nobility is that. But anyway the point is that we got rejected............. courteously. Suddenly that same feeling of failure and stuff came again and I was like "Come on man. Every time I take a step of faith things like this always happen. What sup with that?!". We were sorta discourage about that and took us some time to get to the next patient but we finally met a few more people and managed to pray for them.

I remembered so clearly Lydia praying for a tattoo man and let me tell you it was a dramatic case of conversion! Yeah you got that right. That half body tattoo-ed gangster accepted Christ! We didn't manage to keep in contact with him because the following week he was transferred to another ward and we couldn't find him anymore.

Another guy was a 29 year old Kadazan man named Ronnie. He was frozen in a certain position on the wards bed, and I mean literally frozen by the way. He was having tuberculosis and HIV positive. Vighnath and Princeton were attended to him, fed him some food and prayed for him. Months later with frequent visits and prayer the specialist attending to Mr. Ronnie called us up and told us that the check up that day saw him HIV negative and no more trace of TB. We were obviously going nuts about it and praise God for his healing. With some failure to follow up and keep track of him, Ronnie ended back in the isolation room because his HIV and TB is back again. He passes away a few months later and that really took a hit in my heart. I was never the same again after this whole experience.

Back to 2005. The next hospital visitations during the project week, I prayed for an Indian man. Alone this time. I talked with him in our national language. I got to know him and found out that a heart attack was the reason he was admitted into the hospital. He also told me that he would probably have to be in the hospital for another few weeks maybe even a few months. He obviously looked like he wanted to go home. Before I left I asked him whether I could pray for him. He said ok and I prayed for him. I told him after I prayed that Jesus is powerful and loves him and wants him to be healed because He loves him. I then told him I would come back to see him the following week and if Jesus healed him, he would be out of the hospital next week. The following week I went to the hospital again looking forward to see him only to find the bed he was in empty. The sheets were all tidy and nicely folded. I was sort of disappointed coz I didn't get to see him and went on to meet some new people in that ward. He being healed didn't even cross my mind. As I was on my way out of that ward to go home, the Indian man walked in the ward towards his bed buttoning up his shirt. I asked him excitedly whether he was being discharged and he told me he was and that his family was already waiting downstairs for him. I told him, "Eh tengok, Jesus sudah sembuhkan kamu." He stopped for awhile had the look on his face like "Oh yeah man, I guess He did."

Brothers and sisters, sometimes discouragement might hit us as we push ourselves to be obedient to the will of God. We might be face with a situation and have no answers for it. We might wonder what it would've been if we handled those situations differently. Maybe if we were more aggressive and diligent the tattoo guy. Ronnie wouldn't have died. Maybe you aren't so on fire as before after some seemingly failed situations but let us come and receive a fresh new anointing from the Lord. A fire that will never die. "Come on you can do it again. You now have the experience needed and you can and will do better. My love never fails." That's was Jesus is saying to us now.

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9 NKJV).

Let us keep moving despite our failures and shortcomings. Our inability to be a hero and look to Jesus the true Saviour and the one people need. Let not these failures and shortcomings cause others that are still alive and out there not have an opportunity to meet with Him. We are his chosen vessels to serve and be the light and salt to the world. The devil knows that we have the greatest authority and he wants to make sure we are discouraged enough that we won't use it. He doesn't wanna go to hell alone for eternity so he wants to bring as many humans as possible there with him. He knows that is the way to break the heart of God because we are his beloved children. He knows that we are the key and the link of people to God again. That's why he pulls you down and does everything in his power to make sure you are discouraged. Because, discourage you = people aren't gonna hear the gospel = people going to hell = the heart of God is broken.

Let us go with faith like never before. Defying the odds of popular suggestions and beliefs, taking our promise land. Let us save those tattoo guys and the other Ronnies in this world.

'WORDS OF FAITH'
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV)

Why God Does Not Answer Our Prayers?
Many of us Christians would at some point come to this question "Why aren't my prayers answered?" or something along that line. You'd probably come to the conclusion that maybe God has a better thing installed for me that I do not know. While that answer has its place, that doesn't really answer our question. What about when I was sick and I prayed but I didn't get healed? The previous answer obviously does not apply to this question. So what is the answer then? Does God want me to be sick to teach me a lesson? Firstly you gotta know that God is always good. But that still does not answer our question. How about the million dollar question most would ask God, "What is your will for my life?". I'm sure you can identify with me that GOD NEVER ANSWERS YOU THIS QUESTION. Haha. So now the question turns to why not? In other words, why didn't God answer my prayer?

Lets check out the Scriptures to get our heads straight in this aspect.

Galatians 4:4-7 and Romans 8:15-17 says this,

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because we are His sons, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, so now we can rightly speak of God as our dear Father. Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God. (Galatians 4:4-7 NKJV and TLB)

And so we should not be like cringing, fearful slaves, but we should behave like God's very own children, adopted into the bosom of his family, and calling to Him, "Father, Father." The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children then heirs -- heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. (Romans 8:15-17 TLB and NKJV)

We gotta understand that when we accepted Christ into our lives, we are adopted into God's family. God has become our Father and we have become His children. God will never treat us like a slave. When we pray these kind of prayers like, "God, what is your will for my life?", He often doesn't answer us this question because He wants us to make an independent choice on our own. Because if our actions are always dictated by God then He wouldn't have created us in the first place. He would've created and programmed robots to do His will. In other words, we participate to reach the will of God.

I'd also like to stress on the earlier statement I made about 'God wants us to make independent decisions on our own'. I'd like to propose that there are actually particular choices we make that actually makes God more happy than if we would to choose something else. This applies to minor decisions we make in everyday life as well as major crossroads in life. Whether it may be how we spend our time in a day to who should I marry or what job should I choose, what we choose will actually affect God. He always loves us and will probably bless us no matter what we choose but there is a one choice that will make Him smile.

So how have we been praying? or how have we been living?

Sometimes some people seem to be honoring their leaders with statements like, "Ps. M didn't say mah", "Ps. J say can mah". Before I go further, there is a place to listen to your leaders, I myself heavily emphasis on this aspect as well as practice it, but what I'm trying to say now is have you been having a mind of a slave behind these statements?
Having said that some people might say,

"But we are sheep what. We must listen to what our leaders say."

Wow very smart answer....... NOT!

I'd like to propose that identity wise, we are NOT sheep. Sheep are animals and one of the problems that sheep have is that they are almost blind and often go astray. So if you think your a sheep your probably often confuse (almost blind) and often go astray.

Let me bring in the story of the Israelites and their promise land in the Old Testament to push my point further.

We know that when they reached the promise land that there were giants in the land and 12 spies were sent to scout the land. 10 came back with negative reports and 2 (Joshua & Caleb) came back with a report of victory even before the battle was fought. Of coz' we all know that the story ended without a battle taking place rather a 40 years of wandering in the desert. This defeat was inevitable because these events all took place after the incident at Mount Sinai (Ten Commandments story). So it is obvious why the 10 of the 12 spies came back with negative reports. (read Exodus)

I'd like to propose that if we do not change our slavish attitude and mindset we will end up wandering in the desert. We will not be ready to conquer the giants in our promise land. And every promise land has giants in them. Are you gauging yourself for the battle that must and will take place?
Sometimes churches don't grow and souls are not saved not because people are not praying or going to church but because majority of people are having minds of slaves, defeated even before the fight.

So let us consider this when our prayers are not answered. I don't rule out the possibility that unanswered prayers are caused by other factors but let us consider this truth when our prayers are answered.

I hope this helps you to live a victorious Christian life. One that pleases the Lord and gaining the only applause that matters.

The Bible tells and speaks of countless times of a believer to pray. Often than not people pray for things that God didn't tell them to pray for. We find ourselves praying for needs and wants instead of what was told for us to pray about or for. Its not that we can't pray for our needs and wants, the point is we shouldn't overlook what we should be praying for. In fact Jesus told us not to worry about our needs and wants but we should occupy our minds and hearts with His kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:25-34).

I'm calling for prayer for anyone of you declaring yourself a Christian. Base on 2 Chronicles 7:14 and Ezekiel 22:30, let us pray for revival upon our nation. Let us stand in the gap between the people and God. Between eternal life and death and begin to pray for the salvation of the people in our nation.

As we pray for revival let us not have any heart of judgement or prejudice towards anyone we might have had conflict with. Let us feel the heart of God for the people and know that we ourselves were saved not because we did something good or impressed God but we were saved by grace and by grace alone.

So everyday at 7:14 am/pm and 10:30 pm let us spend at least 5-10 minutes to pray for revival. You may be in your office, college, at home, in the bathroom, on your bed, in the car, wherever you are, pray. Praying in the spirit will be good enough (having revival for Malaysia as the focus in your mind as you do this). Let it be an intense time of crying out for our nation to be saved (crying doesn't have to be literal). We are running out of time.

'THE WORD'

So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found no one. (Ezekiel 22:30 NJKV)

The Only Applause That Matters
Two Sundays ago we got a handout on our way out from church. It was a note that has stuck to my mind and I hope it does to you to. In these troubled times many will go astray and do whatever they please and best suits their ways. But what is it that really matters at the end of the day?

It was the moment the young man had waited for and had prepared for over many months. It was his premiere appearance as a concert pianist. The audience had heard a lot about his amazing talent, and they packed out this prestigious concert hall to hear him. They weren't disappointed. In fact, his masterful playing brought them to their feet for a thunderous standing ovation at the end of the concert. Backstage, the young man's manager said, "They want and encore, man! Get out there!" The pianist looked strangely dejected, and he said, "No I'm not going back out there." His manager said, "But they love you, man!" Look at them" They're all on their feet!" "Not all," was all the young man could say. "Look in the balcony." The manager peeked around the curtain and he saw one white-haired old man in the balcony who wasn't standing or applauding. "Hey, come on! That's one old man! So what?" The pianist looked down at the floor and he said, "That's not one old man. That's my teacher."

It didn't matter to the concert artist what the crowd thought. Only one opinion mattered. Only one man in that multitude was the one he wanted to please - his teacher. You know, that's how God has wired you and me to live. To please your teacher - your Creator. Sadly, we tend to lose sight of Him in our desire to get the applause of the crowd around us.

Jesus has given us six powerful words to live by in our world for today from the Word of God. These words in John 8:29 are simple, but they'll change your life if you'll make them the core value of your life: "I always do what pleases Him." Jesus lived only for His Father's approval. That's why the greatest moment of His life was at His baptism when the heavens opened and He heard His Father say, "You are My Son... with You I am well pleased" (Luke 3:22). It didn't matter whether the crowd was cheering or jeering. Jesus knew He was okay if His Father thought He was okay.

That's an important reminder for us approval junkies, who tend to mold ourselves to please other people. It's like we have this ticket we keep trying to get people to validate for us. "Hey, do you like me? Do you like what I'm doing? What do I have to do to get you to stamp my ticket?" It's called "Please Disease" spending so much of your life trying to please others. But there's never enough applause is there? There's never enough approval. And somewhere in all the pleasing, you lose yourself and you lose the pleasure of the only One who can satisfy your heart - your Lord Jesus who died so you could live for Him! 1 Corinthians 7:23 says,

You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.

Paul knew he had to choose once and for all who he was going to live for and who he was going to live to please. He said,

Am I now trying to win the approval of men or of God? If I were trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:10)

So who are you living to please: the boss, the pastor, your family, your friends. the church, some guy or girl, the community? They didn't die for you. Their rewards don't hold a candle to His. The early church leader, Stephen, knew that. He had stood up for the truth on the streets of Jerusalem and the crowd was not applauding. They were screaming at him, throwing rocks at him to shut him up. "But," the Bible says, "Stephen.... looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God."

The Bible tells us that Jesus is usually sitting at His Father's right hand, but not this day. He's standing, honoring his faithful servant Stephen. and Stephen has the courage to keep doing the right thing, even at the cost of his life, because his teacher was standing. His teacher was saying, "Well done."

I hope that's where you're looking for your approval. The only applause that matters is the applause of heaven. Anything is worth doing to get that; nothing is worth losing it. Nothing.

'GOOD QUOTE'
Your life is like a coin. You can spend it any way you wish, but you can spend it only once.
Lillian Dickson

So What's Important?
I said to myself, I'm going to quit complaining! I'll keep quiet, especially when the ungodly are around me. But as I stood there silently the turmoil within me grew to the bursting point. The more I mused, the hotter the fires inside. Then at last I spoke and pled with God: Lord help me to realize how brief my time on earth will be. Help me to know that I am here for but a moment more. My life is no longer than my hand! My whole lifetime is but a moment to you. Proud man! Frail as breath. A shadow! And all his busy rushing ends in nothing. He heaps up riches for someone else to spend. And so, Lord, my only hope is in You.
Save me from being overpowered by my sins, for even fools mock me then.
Lord, I am speechless before You. I will not open my mouth to speak on word of complaint, for my punishment is from you.
Lord, don't hit me anymore, I am exhausted beneath your hand. When you punish a man for his sins, he is destroyed, for he is fragile as a moth-infested cloth; yes,man is frail as breath.
Hear my prayer; O Lord; listen to my cry! Don't sick back, unmindful to my tears. For I am your guest. I am a traveler passing through the earth, as all my fathers were.
Spare me, Lord! Let me recover and be filled with happiness again before my death.

Psalms 39 TLB

Sometimes people think crying in-front of God is crying to God. The results will be evident. One is crying for attention and sympathy and the other is an act of humility. If you have been facing some difficult situations to handle, cry to Him in humility as the verses above. God bless and you are not alone in this end-time battle against the devil and his minions. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Hi my dear followers. Sorry I haven't been updating for over a month. I promise to update something new tomorrow. This is a promise and it shall be fulfilled. God bless and goodnight.

What's Your Plan For My Life?

"What's Your plan for my life?" is a question people ask God a lot.

It's funny that when people ask God this question and when God tells them His will for their lives, they consider whether to follow what He has said.

Just a thought to ponder on.

Game On!
MTI Apostolic Program Intake 12 is now over. It was a great to see the alumni and making new friends as well. Great job, to all that participated and served. Praise God for His glorious visitations and revelations. It would've meant nothing if it You weren't there.

I hope that this next entry will encourage you and pump up your faith.

When we play video games, the more monsters/enemies we encounter, we know then we're definitely heading in the correct way. It also feels a lot more achieving when you've beaten them at the higher levels. (special thanks to Joshua Lim, TVS for fun facts like such)

I think everything in our world was made to draw us to God or show us a little more about Himself. And particularly in video games, it teaches us some stuff.
When experiencing the worst of things happening to us or in our lives, Christians, let us know that its an opportunity for us to boast about our great and mighty God because He is gonna come through for us and the greater the challenges, the greater the victory is gonna be. When there are some tensions in relationships, office work piling up, assignments overload, let us strengthen ourselves in the Lord. Feed on the Word of God, pray in the Spirit, count the blessings and give thanks and praise to Him daily.

If you feel some tiredness in serving God and in ministry, you need to be going to where your soul and spirit can be strengthen. You need to do things that your soul and spirit be strengthen. Friends, let us not deceive ourselves, thinking that we can make it in our lives without God (spending time with Him). A human can only do so much. A human can only take so much. A human can only achieve so much.

In this time of fasting and prayer, pray in the Spirit. Don't have your spirit-man be a stick-man.
Let your thoughts and feelings go to Him at every moment of the day.

Excerpts from 'Christian Belief' chapter 2
by David Wong Kim

Why did God send prophets to the people?
Some people think prophets mainly foretold the future. But actually their main job was to challenge the people to turn back to God. Often the prophet's messages contained predictions about the future, but most of the messages were challenges to obey God and live right. God's prophets were willing to risk everything for him. Some of the most famous prophets were Moses, Elijah & Elisha, Samuel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and Jonah. Some "less-well-known" prophets also wrote books of the Bible: Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. Even though these prophets spoke hundreds of years ago, their messages apply to us too, so we should listen to them and prophets of our generation of what they have to say.

How to Respond to God's Leading
People communicate in many ways. What about God? Does He have an answering machine? How does He call people, how does He lead them, and how should they respond? Mary was a young woman when she was engaged to Joseph. One day the angel Gabriel appeared to her and told her that God had a special mission for her. The Holy Spirit would soon cause her to become pregnant, and she would give birth to God's Son, Jesus. This was of course incredible news and a bit frightening; people might think that she had sinned by getting pregnant before marriage. Gabriel assured her that God was with her. Mary said that she was ready to serve God and then responded with a beautiful song of praise and thanksgiving to God. Here is what you can learn from Mary's experience.

Step 1 - Be Available
From Luke's account, we don't know exactly what Mary was doing when Gabriel visited her. What's important is that God knew she was ready and willing to serve Him, wherever she was and whatever He wanted. Open your mind and heart to God's next assignment for you.

Step 2 - Be Amazed
The Lord of the universe had sent His messenger to an unknown young woman in a town called Nazareth. Mary was in awe. You may not receive an angelic visitor, yet the same Lord is ready to communicate with you through His Word. The Bible tells us what God wants us to do. It is truly awesome.

Step 3 - Be Appreciative
Mary could have responded "Oh, really?" or "Not me, Lord!" Instead, her heart filled with gratitude for what God was going to do through her son and spilled out with a song. Be thankful - God is at work in the world, and you are a part of His team.

In Ezekiel 3:1-3, God commanded Ezekiel to eat a scroll that contained a message for the people of Israel. In this vision, Ezekiel did what he was told. He found that it tasted sweet as honey! Although we wouldn't actually eat pages of the Bible today, we can develop an "appetite" for God's Word. This appetite comes when we spend regular time reading what God has said to us in the Bible. Seasonal greetings everyone. Merry Christmas... Eve. Glad to be back here blogging after about a month. Its been an awesome month since the ending of November till date. 20th December's Christmas Praise Celebration was awesome in so many ways. One of the things that impacted my life and gave great encouragement to me were my new young brother's and sister's in Christ, sharing their testimony on stage. I've truly been blessed. I'll be heading S7 of World Harvest Church yet again in the coming year and also the Worship Team 'Team B'. Thanks for all your support and prayers this year, I really appreciate your God sent life and unselfish heart. Let's make 2010 happen. God bless and bye bye.

'FUN FACT'
Everyone is wanting to turn a new leaf, it's time to turn to Jesus who gave you new life.
