To educate, nourish, and empower our students for their role in moving the world forward.
Dear Parents/Guardians:
Greetings! My name is Michael Johnson, and it is with great excitement and enthusiasm to introduce myself to you as Principal of Dr. Charles Drew Academy. Previously, I worked as an Assistant Principal at Adams Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Academy in Ypsilanti. In addition, I have served on boards of other charter schools and churches.
Please know that I am committed to creating a culture that challenges your child academically and will prepare them for a life of independency after their time here at Drew Academy. It is my sincere goal to raise the standard of excellence so that OUR expectations are not only met, but also exceeded.
I am honored to be serving as Principal of Dr. Charles Drew Academy, and I look forward to cultivating a relationship with each family as we partner together to encourage the children to learn in a warm and loving environment that promotes academic excellence. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at (313) 383-7501.
Sincerely,
Michael Johnson
Principal
