Welcome to Deerfield Farms

Deerfield Farms in Goochland, Virginia was established in 1890 as a working farm. The owners; committed to rural preservation and protecting open space have since put the farm in a conservation easement. Today, Deerfield Farms leases neighboring farms and land to maintain its various farming operations and is happy to offer horse boarding and hay sales at our home location.

Our barn has 9 stalls with rubber mats, a concrete isle with 3 separate grooming areas, a tack room with hanging saddle racks, a feed room with ample space for supplements, and a wash stall with hot/cold water and a utility sink. We offer large pastures for compatible groups or individual paddocks to suit your horses needs. For the structured athlete, we have a 100'x150' ring for flat work and a 100'x250' area with jumps, or for the pleasure rider we have nearby trails.
