Diamond Wire Farms - Kune Kune Pigs
The Kune Kune Pig
Diamond Wire Farms is proud to add Kune Kune pigs to our farmstead. Kune Kune pigs are a fairly rare breed in the US, but are more commonly raised in New Zealand and Europe. These pigs are relatively small, primarily grass-fed, and extremely social. Kunes rarely root, challenge fences, or boss their owners. These qualities make them ideal companions, as well as, hobby farm occupants.
We are currently working on establishing our breeding program. Check back soon for more information!

Piazzi~ Andrew boar line (Jenny sow line)
Piazzi joined us in 2010 from My Little Farm in Santa Rosa, California. He is a gorgeous B/W boy with a wide face and an upturned snout. Piazzi spent his youth socializing with chickens, geese, dogs, donkeys, horses, and a Waldorf-Inspired Preschool making him well-suited for joining our menagerie. You name it, P has seen it! Many thanks to Dick and Julie for allowing P to join us at Diamond Wire Farms.
Hazel~ Jenny sow line (Te Whangi boar line)
Hazel is a gorgeous Ginger & Black gilt that joined us in Early December of 2010. We have to thank Judie Ames of Old Castle KuneKunes for producing this superior piglet. Hazel has been turning heads with her looks and smarts. Nothing stops this girl! No obstacle comes between her and an apple!

New Arrival! Meet Vada! ~ Rona sow line (Borris boar line)
Vada should be exhausted form her cross country trip, but she is too busy exploring every nook and cranny of the farm. She traveled all the way from the Kune Kune Preserve in North Carolina. Thank you Cyndi for this sweet-sweet girl. She is determined to rule the roost (even if that just means bossing the chickens around, at the moment.)
Hazel & Ava
Vada's first adventure at DWFs.
