This small family of friends in photography began several years ago with the publication of a magazine bearing the same name you see here. That magazine has long since stopped publication, but somehow a cadre of the members has managed to stay together.
We aren't so much a formal society of photographers. We do offer suggestions that might help one another to improve their pictures when asked. But for the most part we tend to share the things that we've found exciting enough to ourselves that we've stopped to photograph them.
Neither are we "Gear Heads" worrying about the latest, biggest and best equipment. The reality is that we simply try to get the best we can from the equipment we have.
Some of us enjoy using every bell and whistle that the top editing programs provide. Others use and enjoy the less sophisticated programs and we enjoy seeing their results. There are others who prefer to limit the optimizing done on their images striving for a more straight photographic rendering.
Regardless of degree of optimizing or photographic skill and knowledge level, we welcome you here, Feel comfortable asking questions, heck we all started at the uninformed level, and someone will do their best to give an answer. With the varying knowledge levels available here finding that answer shouldn't be difficult.
Share your pictures with us. We each have different things that we really enjoy photographing. Plus, no two of us ever see the same things with the same eyes.
Most of all, have fun!
