Welcome to East End Naturescapes!

This site includes a portfolio for East End Naturescapes, which portrays the natural beauty of the twin forks of Long Island, NY.  The north and south forks of Long Island surround Peconic Bay, with Long Island Sound bordering the north side and the Atlantic Ocean bordering the south side.  As a result, the locale is filled with stunning views of nature!  Besides the incredible water views, the landscape is filled with fields of vineyards, flowers, trees and farms which create lovely peaceful settings.  You are invited  to bring the natural beauty of this region into your home environment through the photography of East End Naturescapes!  Images are printed on photographic paper, canvas and greeting cards!

Images for prints, including canvas, may be selected from the albums under Portfolio Albums. You may also select the album(s) for each greeting card package. All the images are printed on the highest quality paper and canvas, with state-of-the-art printing processes that provide high resolution and longevity.

About the Photographer

Joanne Hill  is a native New Yorker, who has captured nature images for 25 years, with 10 of those years on the north fork of Long Island.  Much of her original work was accomplished in New England. Capturing natural beauty with a unique perspective is her trademark.  One of her favorite quotes, by Frank Lloyd Wright, is “Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature,…it will never fail you.”

Ms. Hill has studied visual arts as a passionate hobby. She  studied photography and film at SUNY-Purchase and  took photography workshops at University of North Carolina.  While working in public relations on Long Island, the articles and publications written by Ms. Hill were often accompanied by her photos.  Today,  local shops on the North Fork display her work,  and her images are featured in the annual North Fork guide.  She resides in Riverhead and is a member of the East End Art Council.
