The Ecuador Mission Trip this Summer has just been incredible.  We have so much to be thankful for.  We have made many new friends and were able to work hand in hand with the family of God in Ecuador.  I am so thankful to God for allowing us to experience this week in Ecuador.  Please click on the tab above marked Pictures.. Ecuador 2010 Report Back Service

What a wonderful day we had in church this past Sunday, August 22.  The church was full for two services as our people were able to share all the wonderful things that God did on the trip to Ecuador.  The 45 people who went on this trip will never be the same again, and I believe that the people who heard all the stories are also moved to hear what God is doing around the globe.

Special thanks to all who traveled on this trip and worked so hard.  Special thanks to all who supported us financially and in prayer.  You have made an investment in eternity, what better place to invest!

Keep looking at our pictures page, as pictures come in, we will be posting them to the site.

Have a great day!

The Jungle.

The Jungle was quite an experience.  After we landed in Quito Ecuador, early the next morning we took a 5 hour drive to the city of Shell, and then Mark and I boarded a 5 seat Cessna airplane and we flew into the jungle.  When we landed on our little grass runway, we got out of the plane to see a warm welcome by so many wonderful Indian people.

This was a very exciting opportunity to be in the jungle, and to carry the Gospel message to this remote tribe.  We had no clean water and very few supplies with us, due to the weight limits on the airplane.  We had to boil our water, it was so hot and all we had to drink was warm water.  We ate mostly Bananas, fried Bananas were a special treat!

Word of Life ministries gatherd about 200 young people for a youth camp in the jungle.  These people came from all over the jungle, some walked for 4 days to get there, others came 8 hours by canoe.  What a priveledge it was to be there and preach the good news of Jesus Christ.
