ESF Team Haiti, Group B was deployed into Haiti from April 1-8, 2010. The ESF team partnered with AMURT to serve approximately 1000 Haitian community members. The team worked in areas that were deeply affected by the earthquake and have received limited healthcare and support to date. The various tent cities that we supported were grateful for all the hard work, effort and expertise that this team supplied with included specialties in maternal/newborn, adult public health, pharmacy, general medical surgical and emergency care.
Congratulations to Dr. Steve Pedron, Bridgette Nelson, NP student, Patty Greene, Pharmacist and Joe Buchanan, RN for all of their hard work. We would also like to give special thanks to AMURT and Americares for their commitment to serve and support other NGO's and the Haitian people!
