A 9-11 Memorial Remembrance Ceremony was held Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the Municipal Building, on Fair Lawn Avenue. At the ceremony, a piece of steel from the World Trade Center was dedicated and permanently placed at the Borough’s Memorial Wall to honor the lives of those impacted.

The plaque reads as follows:
“WE WILL NEVER FORGET
This piece of steel from the World Trade Center is in memory of those residents who perished that day and to the brave men and women who gave their lives to save so many others.
