Ephesians 5:1, 2
Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
The Arrows - AS ARROWS IN THE HAND OF A WARRIOR, SO ARE THE CHILDREN OF ONE'S YOUTH (PS. 127:4, NASB
Where will these arrows go?
These firm yet fragile souls
that seek rest in the hallowed
threshold of childhood...
Where will the speed and energy find room?
Oh Lord, the pain of the hand that releases the arrow.
Where will it soar?
Where will it go?
The fearful task that pierces the heart of the archer...
Trusting the wind and the purpose of the aim...
Yet still wondering
aiming,
stretching,
steadying,
hoping,
shaking,
releasing.
For we cannot hold an arrow.
It is not meant for holding.
It is for placing,
for engaging
and releasing.
