Well it has been sunny and windy so we decided to get a kite for the princess. She flew it for about 1 minute and then that was it and daddy was the kite flyer. She had a great time at the park, but just wanted to swing. We roasted some marshmallows in the backyard and played basketball after the Easter Bunny brought her a new hoop. The whole family has been playing basketball, Hayley even got grandma in on a game the other day. All in all we are doing great and just trying to enjoy the sun when it is out.
Well our little has celebrated Christmas and her birthday almost every weekend for the past three weeks and her last celebration is tomorrow. She has had a great time at all of them. She got to play at her Great Grandmas house, Grandpas house and with all her cousins at our house. She loves all of her gifts and plays with a lot of them daily. She got a special Toy Story gift from Santa that seems to be a big hit and a VERY large gun as well that she enjoys shooting at random part of her day. We did a special birthday for her and had breakfast at McD's and then on the hunt for her special cupcake and cookies, as well as gifts, pictures and special time with Grandma. She has had a great end to 2011 and a great start to 2012.
P.S. She even stayed up to bring in the new year with us and watch the Red Bull jump that we have watched every year since the day we brought her home from the hospital :)
Well we have had a couple busy weekends lately. A couple weeks back we had Ashley's baby shower and then we headed out for doughnuts and cider, along with some pumpkin picking. Doughnuts, cide and pumpkin picking was all done with Ashley, Megan, Jessica, HB, Rob and myself. We got a couple of nice pumpkins to carve or put Potatoe Head parts in for Halloween and some cider and doughnuts to munch on for the day. Then this past weekend we went up north to watch the boys play football and while we were there Rob got to play as well, and so did HB. Uncle Nick took HB for a ride on the four wheeler and you could not get the happy grin off her face, I will post pictures of that shortly. It was a great time and we are looking forward to the rest of our fall plans that are to come.
Well we have not posted much in a while, but that is do to being very busy and also forgetting the camera at most of our events. We have gone swimming a few times this summer and the princess is doing great with her swimming, so much so that she always tells you she wants to do it on her own, of course she is in a life jacket with mom or dad by her side, but she does really good. We have gone to a couple of Jonathan's soccer games where Hayley plays with Brittany and cheers Jonathan on during the games. We go to the park to play and just recently daddy and Hayley have started going on daily walks. She loves to talk our ears off and play her matching games. She can count to 13, sings TONS of songs, repeats everything we say (sometimes even things she should not say) knows her ABC's and much, much more. Rob and I are doing great and working as a great team each day to make sure we all get the most out of our days. School is almost over for me and then it's on to a new chapter, hopefully with manageable student loan payments (LOL). We just celebrated 7 years of marriage and the lovely start of our good friends Brodie and Megan's wedding on 9-10-11. It has been a great summer and looking forward to a great fall and winter, hopefully with minimal snow. Thanks for stopping by to see what is new with us.
Just this past weekend we got together with Lisa, Colten, Trent and mom to go to the Fort Wayne Childrens Zoo. We had a great time while we were there, as we all road on some rides, which Hayley was very excited about and then bored once she got on them. The kds all had a great time running around together and even played together in the little cool down water areas. We took a picnic lunch and just really got the chance to enjoy spending time together. It was a great time and we all enjoyed the trip and the animals.
Well we have had some nice days the last few weeks, which means it's time for outdoor fun. We have decided this year that the warm weather cool-off method will be sprinklers. Hayley has really enjoyed being able to run through the sprinklers and even running through them with Buddy; the two of them have a blast together. We have been to the park multiple times and have even gone to get ice cream a few times to help with cooling off. Hayley is doing great and growing like a weed. She is talking up a storm and loves to talk on the phone. I can’t wait for more summer fun with my family and friends.
Well we had a full weekend for Easter. It all started with lunch and an Easter Egg Hunt with Aunt Theresa, Uncle Tony and Aidan. We got together for lunch and then to the playground we went for a little while and then it was off to the Easter Egg hunt. The kids seemed to have a good time together and I don't think the adults minded much either.
On Easter Sunday the Easter Bunny came and left HB her Easter Basket and a special surprise in the backyard. Grandma came over to share in the Easter dinner and surprise that the Easter Bunny left for HB as well. Hayley got her very first car, a Cadillac Escalade! She was very excited and did a great job playing in her new car for a good portion of the day. She also was spoiled with new clothes, stickers, barbies and plenty of bubbles...Thank you to all the other Easter Bunnies who assisted in the spoiling of the princess for Easter :) She greatly appreciates all of it.
Overall it was a great weekend....and mommy and daddy also took the new Cadillac for a spin :)
Today we went over to decorate cookies with Aidan, Aunt Theresa and Grandma Sue and the kids had a great time. There was sprinkles everywhere and I think Hayley ate more frosting than she did cookies. After some cookie decorating and a pizza lunch we all headed outside with the kids to enjoy the warm weather. They played for a little while with Aidan's water gun an watered the flowers and even the tree and played with bubbles before it was time to go as Hayley was getting a little tierd. It was a lot of fun for all of us even the adults :)
Just a quick note on how things are going...good :) Hayley is growing like a weed, Rob and I are doing great and things are just overall good!!
Well Hayley had her birthday party at Jungle Joes last weekend and it was a great time with all the family. All the kids were running around and jumping all over the place so much that I just could not keep up good enough to get many pictures, but they all had a good time and that is what counts. Hayley got all kinds of fun new clothes and toys. Thank you everyone for sharing in Hayley's special day.
Love The Barnhart Family
Well to go right with the Christmas story entry that was just made below, Hayley has her first ear infection, hence the high temp for 4 days! She also has a little start of a cold and pinkeye, I believe the start of the pinkeye is just another way the gunk can find it's way out of her little body. She is a trooper, but really only wants to snuggle with mom and dad, she even has turned down watching iCarly, which is very rare so we know she does not feel good if she does not want to watch her all time favorite show. Poor little girl was sick on Christmas and her Birthday.
Well all the Christmas celebrations are over and Hayley has more toys than we know what to do with. The family Christmas celebrations went great it was our Christmas morning that did not start off so great. Hayley was running a slight temp on Christmas Eve night, but went to bed fine so we thought she would be good to go Christmas morning. Mom came over about 7:15 and Rob started cooking breakfast and Hayley woke up with NO interest in presents, tv or breakfast. We sat her down in her chair to eat and....she threw up! After some Tylenol and a 4 hour nap she was kind of ready to open presents. She lasted about 2 hours and then it was nap time once again. So our Christmas morning was a little delayed, but ended up great in the end. Our Christmas celebration with our extended family, the Cooney's was also delayed by a day, but we did get the chance to go there as well. While at the Cooney's Hayley got a Nerf gun and some MSU sippy cups and a Dora bath toy. Her and the kids played for hours and it was a great deal of fun as well.
Hayley really has enjoyed all of her gifts from everyone and from Santa. Thank you everyone for the wonderful gifts this Christmas season!
Well we had Thanksgiving Dinner the other weekend with the Dunn side of the family and we decided to take the kids out to play and take pictures... well Jeff & Kathy have chickens and Hayley did NOT like them. They were in the bushes by the lamp-post and started to head her way and she just stood there and said, "no, no, no" waving her hands at them to stay away from her, which they did. It is funny though because now when she sees chickens she says "out chickens out." I do not think she will be a farm girl any time soon.
Otherwise she is doing great. She is talking a lot more now that she has no more binkie, but with her talking comes adittude...I don't know where she gets that from :} She is full of smiles and laughter each day and she loves to sing and has recently started counting.. "7, 8, 9" not really sure where 1-6 are at, but she loves to count 7, 8, 9 all the time. She loves to ask "why" about everything. She is our little learner.
Love you all and thanks for checking in.
Well last night we gave Hayley her first tricycle, a pink Schwinn retro style tricycle. She loved it!! And mommy and daddy loved the price as well...FREE!! I am currently in grad school and when I am done with a class I trade my books in to Amazon since my school does not have a book buy back at my site (only on main campus and I am not driving to Jackson for that) and Rob and I found this tricycle and decided she just had to have it, and I think she agrees!! She can reach the peddles, but not good enough to keep the momentum of movement going, but she can push with her feet and make it go so she is happy. She got to play on it for a while last night and I am sure will be enjoying it when her and daddy get home today and any other nice day before snow fly’s. Very happy to have found a use for my old textbooks :) to make our little princess smile!!
Today while Rob & HB were driving home from Daycare she found a book and started reading to Rob. He couldn't believe it so he had her show him what she was reading and sure enough she was telling him the truth. She was reading her My First Words Color book to him and telling him everything that was on the pages. He called me so I could hear her reading too. It was very cute and we are very excited that she is excited to read and learn....she was yelling at Rob to make sure he heard her!!
Well last weekend we went to watch Jonny race BMX, which by the way he took 1st in the State!!! We had lots of fun staying with Uncle Dave and Aunt Sherry in Bay City with the Cooney family as well. Daddy had fun staying up chatting and Hayley even stayed up until a little after midnight, but finally gave in and went to bed. We watched Jonny race on Saturday and while he wasn't racing we watche the Movie UP about 10 times in the van and played with the kids and daddy in the volleyball pits and walked around the park we were at. Saturday after the race we went to stay with Uncle Nick and Anut Lisa. Hayley was excited to see everyone and even loved on Aunt Lisa!! The boys and Nick came in on their dirt bikes and quads, which I must say the boys are doing great on, and Hayley thougth that was kind of neat as well. She played in Trents kitchen pretty much the whole time we were there and played with Mr. Potatoe Head and some of the boys truck, tractors and cars. We had great food and lots of laughter the entire weekend. It was a nice break from home, work and school for a while.
Thank you all to those who let us stay with them and again congrats Jonny on taking 2nd in the State... we are proud of you!
Well Hayley has recently started her swim lessons and at first we really didn't think they were going to be much help, but we were wrong. She really does kick and move her arms like she is swimming. She loves to jump in to daddy and just loves to swim overall. She recently went to the doctor and is about 28 pounds and growing like a weed. She is talking more and more everyday and dancing a lot more as well. She loves to just groove to any music she hears... it is super cute. She is developing manners which is what we really wanted to work on so we think she is doing GREAT! We could not be more proud of her :) Well that's it for now I will update more later on.Thanks for stopping by
Over the last couple of weekends we have had some very warm weather which has gave us the chance to try out Hayley's new pools and go swimming with friends and family. We have all got in Hayley's little pools in the backyard and enjoyed some time in the sun. The other weekend we went out to the campground for Dad's birthday and Hayley had the chance to swim. She LOVED it to say the least. She just wants to swim swim swim!! So the next day we took her over to her Uncle Greg's house and went swimming again and she LOVED it again!! I think she is telling mommy that swim lessons are a must! (Which I have found some that I think we are going to take this July) With all the warm weather our little princess is taking full advantage of her pools and others. She loves being outside and we love taking her outside.
As just another update she has ALL her teeth so she should be good until closer to 2 and then she will get some more. She is talking a lot more, well at least to mom and dad, she is playing shy a lot to others. She loves flashcards and enjoys doing art at daycare. We work on flashcards at home and at daycare and can honestly say that she amazes me with her words and how much she really trys to copy what you say... which is good and bad :) So we are creating a little talking monster right now! All in all she is great and so are mom and dad!
Loves
So we know Hayley turned one in December, but you can't have a great outside party with snow!! So we had one this last weekend. It was a great time with family and some friends. Hayley did very good at playing and running all over the place. She enjoyed time with her cousins and a couple of her friends (Tricia's boys). She got to run all over and be outside all day, she even has tan-lines now!
Overall it was a great day and though it started rocky it ended great! Happy First Birthday princess
Ok so a couple weeks back (yes I am behind here) we went to Texas to see Rob's dad and sister. Hayley did GREAT on the 17-18 hour car ride. We got her TV's so we looped videos and she napped a lot! We went to the Zoo and IKEA and other shopping areas while we were there, but mostly we spent time with family as that was are reason for going! Hayley loved running all over their huge house and she loved playing ball in their backyard. She did very good at not touching thing's that she was not supposed to and she did good with staying up late! I think she like that part the best :)
We had a great time and next time we really are flying!!
Well we had a very busy Easter weekend. We started off with an Easter Egg Hunt in Belvue. It was a little rainy, but Hayley was ready as ever with her little bucket just standing there waiting for the Go to get eggs. Out of the 11,000 that blanketed the lawn at the Church, she got about 8, which was more than enough for her! She was just excited to be with all the other little kids and having fun running around with her Daddy.
On Easter Sunday we got up and did Hayley's Easter basket where she got some movies, shoes and some jammies. Then Grandma came over and we did an Easter Egg hunt for her in the back yard where she was very excited to find 3 Elmo Easter Eggs! Grandpa also stoped over to bring Hayley her Easter basket from him and Grandma Sue. She got sand toys, so now Daddy has to take us to the beach :) She started carrying around the bucket after Grandpa left walking to the gate saying "bye bye" and waving to him, it was cute and she carried on for a few minutes even after he was long gone.
Overall she had a great time outside with all the Easter Eggs and compnay and then Daddy put together her swingset from Grandma. She LOVES it!! She even got a special "pink" swing just for her! Jonny got to push her in her swing for the first time as Uncle Greg and Jonny stopped by just as Daddy was done putting it all together.
It was a great Easter and I must say we are so Greatful to our Heavenly Father for our Beautiful Baby Girl!
I think this little girl is going to have all her teeth before she is even 1.5 years old! She is clearly now getting her upper and lower canines (cuspids). They are coming in a little more on her left side, but you can see the white coming up closer and closer on both sides. I just can't believe how many teeth she already has... 12! and she is still getting more.
Well with all her teeth we started brushing now too. She thinks it's great to brush her teeth. She really just likes to suck the water off the tooth brush, but hey at least we are cleaning her teeth too. She can brush them a little on her own, but mostly I am doing it for her now. She doesn't always let me, but we are getting better at it as a team.
Not much else new to report, other than she knows where her mouth is too. She is full of smiles, laughs and giggles all the time. She will actually sit and watch about 30 minutes or so of cartoons now, so we are going to try and get her Disney movie collection beefed up for her. She really loves SpongeBob (mom not so much, but she likes the colors of it all) and Fennious and Ferb (no idea if I even came close to spelling that right). We generally watch morning cartoons on the weekend to slowly wake up for the day.
Thanks for checking in :)
The other day Hayley and I were in the car waiting for Rob to come out of the store and she was getting restless. So I started touching her nose telling her "nose" and she would just laugh. So then I decided just to ask her where her nose is and she pointed right to it. What a smart little one! Needless to say I kept asking her over and over again and she would just laugh and point to her nose. Once Rob got out of the store I had him ask her too and she pointed right to her cute button nose! Very proud moment for us.
She is also talking even more know. I am not sure of all of her words, but I will try to name them all: baby, mama, dada, papa, duck, stinky (tink), dirty, ball, buba (Buddy), no, Elmo, Bye Bye, Hi, mine (mee), Binkie (Bee), baba, cup and more. She knows when you ask her a question to shake her head no if she doesn't want something, we are working on yes, but she just laughs when I say "yes" and shake my head.
She refuses to keep her socks and shoes on, even if we are out and about if she gets too hot she gets very upset and those are the first thing's she is tugging at. She thinks she is big stuff walking around outside and in the stores. She loves to play peek-a-boo and read books. She LOVES her Elmo video, so much so that when we turn the computer on all she says is ELMO and waits for you to turn on her movie. She will then sit there for a good 15 ro 20 minutes and just watch Elmo on the computer.
Almost all her molars are through and if you look in her mouth you can see more white spuds getting close to the gum line and feel the bumps where her next teeth are going to come in. Right now she has 12 and I was hoping it was all going to slow down, but it doesn't look that way :( teething just looks painful!!
Well all in all she is doing great and that was just supposed to be a quick note on how cute she is at finding her nose, but it turned into an update. So thanks for checking in
Love the Barnharts
Well Hayley is talking more and more with each day. They do Elmosize at daycare, so I thought I would look it up and when I did I got a ton of videos on YouTube. I started clicking on some of the videos and all of the sudden out of no where Hayley starts dancing saying "Elmo, Elmo, Elmo" She got this Huge grin on her face and just started dancing... so I guess mommy and daddy need to look into an Elmo video. I think I might try the library before I go buy one just to make sure she likes it.
All of her molars are in the final stages of breaking through her gums, so she is still a little moody and clingy. We are still working on getting her system OK with whole milk, but she seems to be doing good with it. Thankfully she has started drinking more from her sippy cup and she Loves Loves Loves big girl food, so she is easy to please these days.
She is in love with Mr. Potato Head, which is comical to say the least, but she loves him. We have got her a couple here and there and she just dances and screams with joy to get a new one. So needless to say we have Mr or Mrs Potato Head parts all over the living room floor, that's ok though she loves to play with them.
So she is doing great and growing everyday in every way possible.
Thanks for checking in
As you both can tell Hayley is wearing your favorite outfits in the header photos
Kathy with Nascar now on I though what a better time to put on Hayley's Tony Stewart outfit than now! She did look adorable in it... however she did cry a little once I told her who the driver was that she was wearing. LOL Just kidding she looked great in it and I am sure she will wear it many more times.
Aunt Lisa Hayley is wearing the lovely blue jammies that I just adore sooo much and while they are nice and warm they also enhance her eyes even more! Thanks for letting us barrow the famous Blue jammies and I am sure she will wear them a couple more times before we give them back :)
Love ya Both
The other day Hayley and I were at my mom's and Hayley loves to go and look at her picture stand. Well at her level is a picture of Colten, Lisa and myself when Colt was very tiny and we always tell her baby... well she responed back to us plan as ever "baby" I was very proud to say the least. So now she is saying baby every once in a while, can't always get her to do it when we ask, but sometimes she will just say it, like this morning. Her and I were sitting on the couch waiting for Rob to be ready to go and she handed me her binkie and I asked her if she was mommy's baby and she replyed "baby" So again I was so excited she responded to me and clearly!
She is also blowing kisses and saying Ugh Oh. She is just growing up really fast on us!
Well Hayley went to the doctor last week for her one year check up and shots. She didn't do so hot with her shots this time around, but the doctor said that is normal for the age she is at and these shots I guess hurt really bad verses the others.... umm a shot is a shot to me and none of them feel good! She weight in at 22 pounds and is 28 inches long. She is growing right on track and doing great. We are limiting her time with her binkie to just naps, bedtime and really cranky times, which she is doing pretty good at. She will even give it to us if we hold out our hand to her and then most of the times she is just fine with it after that. She has walking down great now. She also mastered standing up from a sitting position last weekend Saturday, so she is really on the move. She has also learned how to drive her quad much better, so now we just need the weather to warm up so she can be outside on it.
Overall she is doing great. Babbeling more and more, she is saying Ugh Oh now and really trys very very hard to say baby. She is still in the process of her upper molars breaking through, which isn't fun, and yesterday I discovered I could feel the sharp point ready to break through, so that is only a matter of time as well. So growing really fast and doing great sums it all up :)
Hayley is eating all kinds of table food from ravioli, black olives, peas, grean beans, chicken, ham to red peppers. She doesn't seem to really mind anything accept anything that is like yogurt or custard... just like her mommy!
She loves looking out the front of the car now that she is facing forward. She just kind of watches Rob drive, I think she likes the steering wheel cover. She is full of spunk and personality to say the least. She is chasing Buddy around constantly, and now that she has a quad thanks to her Uncle Greg, Aunt Sherri, Chris, Jon and Brit, she is really chasing Buddy around. He does good with her though, they make it a game that they both enjoy. She also likes to take off her socks and play tug-a-war with Buddy, which is a sight to see!
She is WALKING everywhere!! You set her down in the standing position and she is off. The other day she walked from the far side of the livingroom all the way to the back corner of her room (that is where her quad sits) and back out to the edge of the livingroom. Yes our house is small, but to her it is HUGE and that was a long walk. So she is doing great!
Thanks for checking in
Loves and Blessings to you all!
Well Hayley has been working on getting her left side molar in and it is most of the way broke through. She is also getting her right side molar and her right front lateral incisor (it's the one next to her bottom right front tooth) So needless to say she has been a little cranky lately, but overall doing great at getting her teeth, as she always does.
Well baby girl I can't believe you are ONE! The time has flown by and you have changed so much along the way. We are blessed to have you in our lives and watch you grow and change each and every day! You are in every way more than we ever dreamed of. Thank you for blessing us and teaching us each day how to grow and love.
Love you baby girl!
Just a quick update. Hayley is walking more and more each day. She loves to go back and forth between myslef and her daddy. She loves to furniture cruise and she now goes between furniture without holding onto anything, she doesn't hold on to anything when she walks to myself or Rob either. We are so excited to see her walk and take steps and just discover a whole new level to the world. She of course gets into more now, but it will only get easier as she walks more and more on her own.
Her hair is growing like crazy. I feel bad I don't want to cut her hair yet, but it is starting to hangin her face, so bows are going to become a must for everyday wear. She is getting her first year molars. I looked and felt in her mouth last night and you can see and feel the two little white spots where her teeth are coming through. She is eating more table food and loveing it, so once those molars are through I am sure she will enjoy even more foods.
Ok well that is it for now, thanks for stopping in.

Well Hayley Marie is 11 months old now! I can't believe that the time has gone this fast. I look back at the pictures of her when she was just born and I can't believe she was ever that tiny. She is a very active little bee these days. She can get wherever she wants to go and where we don't want her to go very fast by crawling or using the furniture to walk around. She has this thing that she seems to love to do now and that is hold on to the glider and walk all around it so you can't see her. She loves to clap her hands now when she gets excited or if you sing to her. By the way she doesn't mind if you sing off key.. mommy does :)
She is on the move constantly, but has her days where she just still wants to cuddle. She loves to laugh and loves for Rob and I to get on the floor and play with her. She like to pick on Buddy which doesn't always work so well, when we tell him to go and lay down and then she crawls over to his bed and waves at him, as if she is picking on him for getting in trouble. She just loves her Buba. She waves to everyone and everything, it's cute, she is like a little movie star just waving away.
She still loves to walk with her Lion that Aunt Tricia gave her. She is overall just very active and into everything. She learned how to open the kitchen cupboards and let them slam shut, she thought that was just great. Well daddy put a stop to that with a cupboard lock and wow did that rock her world at first, but then she just found another cupboard to open.
She loves the bath and even flips over on her tummy and swims. We have been working on her "swimming" since she decided that she likes to splash in the tub, and I must say she is pretty good. She flaps her arms and legs just like she is swimming, until she gets enough water in her face and then she is all done with that for a minute or two and then right back to it she goes.
Ok well that is a long update for now.
Love you all and thanks for stopping by!!
Last night we went over to my moms house and we were all talking and palying with Hayley just as normal. Well Rob decided to see if Hayley would take some steps to my mom... and sure enough she took about 3 steps between the two of them. She did VERY good!! We are proud of her steps. It is really only a matter of time (or so we think) before she is walking as she loves to just stand and flap her little arms and she will walk with her walking toys and holding on to furniture and us. She loves to hold herself up and walk all around the house holding onto the furniture and toys that she can. You give her the Lion that Aunt Tricia gave her and she just takes off, I feel bad as we don't have a ton of space for her to run in, but she does great in the space we have! She is our shinning star non the less!
She has also tried some table food in the last week. She has had some spaghetti (not too sure of the noodles, but she enjoyed it) Baby Carrots, which she feeds herself no problem, some of my McGriddle (thanks to her daddy starting that) she just had the pancake part, some mashed potatoes and even some chicken. She seems to like it all, which is good!
Overall she is doing great and I can't believe she is almost 1 year old!
Love you HB
Well our little princess is 10 months old!! How the time as seriously flown by. I never thought I would say that the time has gone by so fast, but it really has. I can't believe that 10 months ago she was so tiny and just sleeping all the time, now she is on the move all the time and climbing into everything and just laughing and happy all the time. She even bats her eyes to get what she wants as Grandma Sue and Grandpa Dunn experienced the other night when they stopped by. She is 10 months old and knows how to work the system all ready! She is doing great and we couldn't be more blessed to have her in our lives.
I will fill you in more as she goes to the dr later this week for her check up.
Thanks for checking in
Love and Hugs from us all to you all!
PS
She says "papa" "dada" and "mama" all the time now too!
Hayley and family are doing great! She has a bad rash from head to toe right now, but she is doing just fine with it. She weighed in at 21.4 lbs today at the doctors office today. She is walking all over the place with her lion that her Auntie Tricia (her daycare provider) gave her. She loves that lion. She is walking with it from her room to our livingroom, which isn't a huge amount of space, but it is still a great deal for her. Overall she is doing great and we still feel very blessed each and everyday to have our beautiful, healthy miracle baby girl.
She is also saying "papa" to her daddy! It is great to hear her say "papa" she also said "dada" the other day when she was walking along the couch to get to him, but I think "papa" is just easier for her to say! She says "mama" when she is upset and wants her mommy, which is just fine by me! I love to feel wanted by her... it wont be long before she doesn't want all the attention from us.
Hayley is now 9 months (and 1week & 3days)! She is getting big so fast. I can't believe that in 3 months she will be 1 already!! Time sure is flying by. She is crawling all over the place and getting into everything that she can. She loves to pull herself up on anything that she can get to as well. We have got her to take a step a couple of times without holding onto something, but she mostly just starts to fall forward when you are trying to get her to walk without help. She is doing great and is such a smart little cookie! She loves to wrinkle her nose up and show off her 6 teeth while snorting all at the same time. She is just such a little character. She loves her new daycare and they even are doing art projects with her and still the educational flash cards and so on with her. She loves to be read to... she smacks the pictures in the book as you read to her, it's cute, or she will just grab the book and start eating it. She loves to babble and laugh and I just can't say how proud we are to have her as our daughter. She has brought so much love and joy to our lives, she is truly a millions times more then we ever could have asked for. Thanks for checking in I will update more later on.
Loves
I can't believe that she is 8 months old already! I still remember the day and moment I foundout I was pregnant and then when we foundout we were having a baby girl and of course the day she was born! She is growing like a weed and changing every single day. She has 6 teeth total, some of them are still dropping down, but they have came through her gums, so I count them. She loves to roll everywhere and she trys soooo hard to crawl, but if you will stand and walk with her she will walk until she can't take it anymore. She loves trying to get Buddy and he just loves that someone else is at his level. She laughs all the time and is starting to wave bye bye. Well I could go on and on about thing's she is doing now and how she is growing, but over all she is doing great and we can't be more proud of our little miracle Hayley!!
Love you baby girl!
Just to start with I was wrong about what teeth Hayley is getting (has got already) they are not her "I" teeth they are her Lateral Incisors... And NOW she is getting her Central Incisors, or her front top teeth! She was laughing up a storm the other day, so I could actually see in her mouth, and I could see the front uppers coming in! Poor little one I can't believe that she just keeps teething week after week. It seems like they break through and just as they are about all done comign in more start to break through! It is crazy.
She is growing like a weed! She loves to stand and play and she is trying VERY hard to crawl! Before I know it Hayley will be crawling and walking all over the place! She rolls everywhere and can manage to crawl backwards so it wont be long before she will be all over the place.
Well I am only able to update this site when I am at my moms so I try to do this at least once a week :)
Hayley is doing great!! She is getting up on all fours and starting to rock back and forth.... it wont be long before she is on the move. I believe she is starting to get two upper teeth, but they aren't her upper fronts they are a couple over from those.......... don't know their technical name. All in all she is growing very fast and doing great!
Just an update. Hayley now has her two bottom teeth and did just great getting them in. She is still eating lots of solids and doing great with that too. She is rolling all over the place and becoming more independent as she gets older. She is pulling herself up and she loves going crazy in her jumper. She is overall doing great and we LOVE watching her grow every day!!
Just a side note I don't have the internet at home so I can only update this site every so often so thanks for looking and sorry for not a ton of updates all the time.
Loves
Well there isn't much new to report. She is still doing good with her more "solid" foods. She has green beans, sweet potatoes, bananas and rice cereal (not her favorite thing, so we mix stuff with her cereal). We think she is really starting to teeth now, as the drool is nonstop and the chewing is a constant thing. She came home from Daycare the other day and was just whinny like she was in some pain, so we gave her baby tylenol and she was good to go! Otherwise she is doing great! Still doesn't like the heat, must be a winter baby thing, but we are dealing with it so far.
Thanks for checking in I hope you all can view and enjoy this site better than the last one!
On Tuesday Hayley rolled over at daycare, so of course I had to see her do it too, so I put her on the floor at home on her playmat to see if she would roll over and sure enough she did. She is all about rolling over, from her back to her tummy, but I don't know how sure she is that she likes being on her tummy for too long. She also started sitting up more on her own since Saturday (May 31, 2209). She rocks back and forth to keep her balance, which is cute, but over all she is doing good with it. I don't just sit her up and leave her yet because she does fall over, but she is getting stronger everyday!
Well on Friday we took Hayley for her 5 month check up and shots. She did really good, only two shots this time. Her little legs got a couple red spots from the shots, but otherwise she is doing great. She weighed in at 16lbs and 24in long!! Big girl :) The Dr. says she is growing great and developing right on track. Needless to say she is changing everyday!
Hayley will be 5 months tomorrow!! I can't believe how fast she is growing. She loves to stand and she loves to talk! I joke with Rob that she is going to be one of the kiddos who constantly talks and asks "are we there yet?" Even if she is we will love every minute of it. Being on mom has been great this far and I can only image it is going to get better.
