Hi Everyone!

We're off on a new Semester at Sea adventure and would love for you to join us for a virtual summer in the Mediterranean.

Semester at Sea is a study abroad program out of UVA (see link to the lower left) for fun details. Think floating university that accomodates 700+ college students, faculty and staff, and crew. Specifically, it's a cruise ship that has classrooms, a library, computer lab and thankfully a swimming pool too.

On this voyage, Gustavo is teaching two classes: a drawing class and a world literature class in Spanish (see links to the left). The boys and I are thrilled to tag along and use the world as our classroom. Classes happen when we're at sea and when we make port, we explore on our own and take tours.

The Countdown Has Begun!

T minus 8 days for our travels to begin, a little less for Gustavo who has to switch gears and head to the Advanced Placement reading before getting on the ship. Excitement is building, suitcases are out and instructions for the house/pet sitter are finished.

The Bahamas are calling....
