Hello all.. Well, it's been a week now and I'm happy to report that I took 5th in my masters class. I did not place in the open class but really wasn't expecting too, so I'm ok with it. I wish I would have taken top 3 in my masters class but hey, that gives me something to work for next year. I'm hoping to take a top 3 in May and then a win in Sept! The show was run really smoothly and it was super fun! My friend Nicole was in it as a body builder so it was nice to have her there with me and vs versa. We had tons of fun! We also won the team trophy which is awesome. We will appear on all the fliers and websites associated with next May's show! How cool is that!! I'm starting to send out my pics to magazines, photographers etc., hopefully someone will like what they see and hire me! Wish me luck!
So... it's officially off season for me now, going to enjoy the holiday's with lots of good food, then the first of the year hits and it's back to clean eating! Can't wait to see what next year brings me!!

Well.. I did it!! I placed 4th in my Masters division (over 35 yrs old) and I placed 6th in the figure open (any age). I am very proud of myself. I have started things in the past and never finished them, this time, I not only finished, I got a trophy because of it! It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to do it again. Next up for me is the NPC All Natural Muscle Classic in Rockford on Nov. 14th. Kevin Noble runs a great show!! This is an all natural competition (meaning it's drug tested) and I'm really looking forward to this one. This is a National Qualifier so if I place top 5, I will qualify for Jr USA's, Masters Nationals and Team U and if I place top 3, I will qualify for Jr Nationals, USA's and Figure and bodybuilding championships! This is a BIG deal in terms of figure. National level shows are much more respected than regional shows are and I can't wait to try for it! Diet is nil right now.. I have another week of whatever I want, then it's back on the diet for the 7 weeks until this next show. Should be fairly easy this time since it's only 7 weeks of diet and 1 hell week before the show. Let me know asap if you are interested in coming to this next show, I will be ordering tickets fairly soon (it's a seated event so the earlier we order, the closer to the stage you all are) ;o) Thanks to my wonderful husband for supporting me through this, I couldn't have done it all without him. Thanks to my amazing coach Jen. She is just the BEST thing to ever happen to me and I'm so thankful that I have her in my corner as my coach/trainer/friend!!! Thanks to my parents and Mike's dad(who really don't "get" the sport but still come to support me. Thanks to Julie, Lisa, Dawn (for stoning my suit that looked AMAZING and for making my earings and being so helpful throughout all this prep), Britt and Amy for being amazing friends!! I love you guys!! Thank you for being here for me and for showing your support, it means more to me than you'll ever know (I know I've already said that to you all but......)

Lift lift lift lift lift......need I say more? Yes, I will....HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY! And coach MEANS heavy!! OMG, thought my legs were gonna fall off last workout. Yikes!
2X45min per day of cardio.. interval in the am and steady in the pm. Food is total ketosis durring the week and moderate carbs on sat/sun (b. rice, rice cake and oats). Water water and more water.. Plyo's once a week. Diet on point and my goal this show for my bf is single digits! I took it with a digital caliper... not what it is, so I'm not gonna say... I'll have coach take some pinch tests.. We think I was about 14% last show so we want 9-10% this show for sure. To make top 5 I need more conditioning and to come in harder and leaner, so bf, bye bye!!!
All in all, things are going well. 6 days a week twice a day= F.U.N. ;o)
Happy Birthday to Julie!! The big 25 ;o) Have a wonderful day!!! Did a full body workout yesterday seeing as though I had been off for a week. I'm sore today but it sure felt good to get back in the gym. I am looking to build my shoulders and back/lats for this go around. We are going to try more plyometrics stuff for my legs to see if we can get them to lean out more this time. I'm hoping to drop more bf also. I think I came in at about 14%, this time I'd like to be about 10%.. that should help my abs out as well.. Skin from the kids is a bitch to get to go away ;o) Another full body workout today, then back to seperate body parts on Monday. I gotta start hitting it hard if I want to gain any size for this next show!
