SNOWY IS GOING TO BE A MOMMY!
Yep, the title says it all. Snowy is currently preparing a nest bed to give birth. She's pulling out her fur as well as Flakey's fur but I took Flakey out just in case, she accidentally hurts him by pulling out his flesh too. Haha, and I'm so excited! The doctor says it takes about 24 hours for her to give birth and currently, she's just lying down on the floor bed of the cage and she don't seem to be hyperventilating.
I'll update here once there's any updates!
Extraordinary
I witnessed something very extraordinary just 15 minutes ago. Not only once did I witnessed but 3 times. I guess Snowy's going to be a mommy soon.
So how it all started was:
Snowy was feeling grouchy all morning. She constantly wanted to bite anything that came in her way. I thought probably she was just having a bad day. Animals have their bad days too. I cleaned their home today, packed new bedding for them and gave them lunch. Thought Snowy would be better after all these but no, she was still as grouchy as ever. Kept biting Flakey and poor boy didn't want to go anywhere near her. So I decided to take them out and let them run for a while, thinking maybe Snowy will feel better after this. But it was only Flakey that was doing the running around (probably wanted to impress Snowy with all his flexes)...
Sorry I just ran out of my room because I heard 'it' (I'll come to that in a while). So anyway continuing, I decided to close up their running space because I thought that probably Snowy and Flakey couldn't get along again. (They always have couple fights). But then it was then that I witnessed that. It all happened pretty fast, I was dumbfounded. I just sat in front of them and looked. Looked. And after he was done, he started making this kind of sound, like a high pitched crying/whinning/heated up sound. I was quite scared!
I guess Flakey is in heat now. He not only did it to Snowy once but he did it three times. Probably when I was typing this entry, he did it to her again. That explains why I ran out halfway just now. I don't know if I should separate them. I fear Snowy's going to harm Flakey is he continues being high.
But I guess if these continues and if I don't separate them, Flakey's gonna be a daddy and Snowy's gonna be a mommy.
No more V
Flakey's face looks normal now. Hah! No more V on his face. Snowy is a little bit on the difficult side. She's all white so it isn't that obvious to see the V on her. But both looking good and pretty now.
Snowy - She can't keep still. Always on the run every time I wanna catch her.
Flakey - He listens. He allows me to pick him up and cuddle him. Unlike Snowy! And he behaves like a little puppy. The way how he puts his head down in between his paws and look sleepy. He reminds me of a little puppy doggie.
Changes in their faces
I realized that there is an upside down 'V' appearing on Flakey's face. The same goes for Snowy only except hers is a normal 'V' on the top of her head. Seems like they're slowly becoming a young boy and girl. I remembered the last time I got them, the features wasn't developed yet! They just had a baby's face (look at pictures) and now slowly bit by bit, everything starts to form. No longer babies, now they're young kids.
First bath
Flakey and Snowy got their first bath last night at 12 midnight. Yeah I know, of all time it happened during the night. Sherman and I got back from meeting friends and we decided to bathe the rabbits since they haven't gotten any shower since the day they were born until now. All they had was the dried powder bath I gave them. I got a hair dryer to dry them after their bath and they looked so cute with their fur all wet. Of course I avoided the head and the ears. Just the body and their 'doodle'. Hah. They smell so good now, like the Johnsons baby shampoo. But they'll get dirty in a few weeks' time. That's when another bath calls!
I need a new cage!
Yes read my title and it's true! These bunnies are hungry 24 hours 7 days a week! Like I said, they literally go crazy when I shake the pellets or bring the hay out. No I'm not overfeeding them now because I think they're really growing too fast. But I need a new cage. I definitely need a bigger or longer cage. These 2 rascals are going to outgrow the current cage I have now. So what did I do? I posted the cage on those online classified websites! So here, check it out!

Hopefully someone will buy my cage so my 2 babies can have a bigger space to run around!
And what's most ironic is that I bought this cage 2 weeks ago and I'm selling it now!
Bunnies gone mad!
My bunnies have gone mad. Don't know what the hell they're trying to do. They think they're frogs... but then again they think they can fly. They leap around the cage and it's not like the cage is very big. But anyway, they toppled the dome and you know all those bedding? It flew in all directions outside the cage. I had to keep picking them up and putting it back into the cage.
Like I said, bunnies gone mad!
Finally, all published!
Okay finally I published all the pictures there is for Flakey and Snowy including today's snapshots! Looking back on the very first day of bring Flakey home and then Snowy home, I realized these 2 little babies have grown since then! But they still have that little baby attitude in them. Makes me want to leave my laptop now and walk over to them, plant myself down on the floor and take them out to play again...
Have yet to upload the videos. I only manage to upload one. Maybe later I'll do it. Don't like to leave things undone halfway. That's me!
Newbie
So I just set up this website for my bunnies. My cousin, Miriam, used this program to set up a website for her baby daughter, Naomi and I was thinking, hey why not set up one for my bunnies? So I got myself seated down, a cup of juice next to me and I just started clicking away, finding out about Shutterfly and what I can do in here. Turns out, there's a lot of stuff in here and I still need to learn and digest everything. Haha!
So anyway, this is the first journal entry for this website. I was just done playing with Flakey and Snowy. As usual, whenever they're out of the cage, they feel like it's the best thing in the world. They literally leap around, jumping so high that sets me wondering whether are they rabbits or frogs? Did I mention that these kids are never full? Everytime I shake the packet of pellets, their ears twitch and they come hopping to me, demanding to be fed immediately. Haha.
Lovely little bunnies I say.
