"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." Our prayer at Focus Builders International is to draw near to God and glorify Him in our thoughts and actions.

We want to thank those who regularly support our ongoing projects of Pastor's support, Elizabeth Smith's medical school, two high school students, one junior high student, church building, annual Pastors' and Wives' Conference and evangelism endeavors.
If you would like to share in supporting these projects, please send your tax deductible donations to the address above.
The conference started Wednesday night, November 2 and went through Thursday evening, November 10 with all but a couple of pastors and most of the wives in attendance. The subjects of study this year were to the point, Biblical, and pertinent to the lives of the Kuna Tribes and were well received by the church leaders. There were questions that were answered and much discussion among the participants. Focus Builders International wants to thank the church leaders for attending and the teachers for their study and excellent delivery of the material. Jerry McDaniels taught two studies and preached two evening Worship Services. The first study was on syncretism and the second study was from the book of Proverbs from God’s Word. Both of these studies will help the Pastors deal with the problem of their people trying to mix Christianity with the old traditional beliefs of Kuna religion. Joyce McDaniels taught the wives each afternoon with a study on the Names of God along with other subjects. By knowing the names of God we learn much about God and His character. Dennis Winters taught two lessons a day to the pastors from the book of I Timothy in the New Testament. This book, written to a pastor, teaches the duties and responsibilities of the pastor. Sam Parker taught some lessons from the book of Hebrews showing that Jesus is better than any other belief, system or religion. Early in the morning Sam taught a Marriage Conference to the pastors and their wives. This was something that the pastors asked for last year. The study was taken from the lives of seven couples in the Bible and taught what we could learn from them, either right or wrong. The Bible Studies were well received and timely, but one of the major benefits of the conference is the fellowship the leaders have with one another and the encouragement they give each other. We want to thank each of you for your prayers and financial support. PLEASE LOOK AT THE "PICTURE" PAGE TO SEE NEW PICTURES.
This coming year, 2012, is shaping up to be a very busy year for the Kuna missions in Panama. There are many plans coming to reality and we are praying for God’s leadership and wisdom in every project. There are three church buildings that are in need of being built. One church is in the Carti area on an island which has a pastor and members but as of today has no building to meet in. One church at Carrecto was burnt down this year by two young men who were against the church and hated Christ. The young men were sent out of the village not to return again by Kuna law. We know that it would honor God to rebuild the building as a testimony of the goodness and grace of our Heavenly Father. The third building is very close to Columbia, in the last Kuna village in Panama. We will not be able to take a team there but we do want to supply the materials for the church to construct a building to meet in and worship God as a demonstration of the power and goodness of our God. We also have a church on the Kuna island of Cuba that needs a roof replaced. This roof is in terrible shape and will soon cause much damage to the building itself if it is not replaced this season. We are grateful for Woodridge Baptist Church in Kingwood, Texas for a donation toward the building of the churches and will ask you to pray about what God would have you to give for these causes. First Baptist Church in Porter, Texas is building a house for the pastor living in Ikandi, a village on the Bayano Lake. If you or your church would like to go and build, or donate please contact us at the following places:
