Pour out the combination of the molten wax into the molds taking care to place the wicks at the center of the molds. Allow the wax in the molds to cool off. This should take not more than 6 hours. Remove the candles from the wax and there you have your homemade scented candles. It is important that you consider jar molds for candle making, as they do not require demolding but stays in the jar. This is especially when you are still a starter. Candle making may entail the use of different types of wax the most common of them being paraffin wax that is petroleum based. You could also consider natural wax or even gel wax. Honey wax may not work well with scented candle making as it comes with its fair share of honey scent. Many would however prefer gel wax, a clear wax that incorporates flexibility of designing. Gel wax however requires undergoing a different mode of melting. Presently, candle making has been popularized to the extent that they come in brands.
