About The Friends of Grandview Park
The Friends of Grandview Park is a grass roots organization that started 10 years ago. We are a small group of passionate people that always knew the park was something special with the overlook and skyline of Pittsburgh, but it was getting old and tired. We needed to bring back the spark it once had and make it a place that was fun and pretty and happy.
With our passion and commitment we were able to do that. The Friends wanted Grandview Park to be a destination for neighbors and tourists alike; to not only enjoy the view but the park as well. We have been able to do that and were proud to celebrate its 100th birthday in 2009.
