Volunteer Needed

Calling all FHS Young Republicans,

The Galveston County Republican Party needs your help at the GOP booth at Halloween in the Park, Sunday, October 24. Set-up at 4:00, booth opens at 5:00, take-down starts at 7:30. We’ll be giving out free candidate shirts for you to wear in the Park, or you can help hand out candy, or set-up/take down the booth. Let me know what you’d like to do and what time you’re available. Bring your friends!

Cell Phone for Soldiers

Young Republicans will be collecting cell phones to donate to this cause. The old phones are given to a company that pays for the old phones and the money is used to purchase calling cards for soldiers deployed abroad. A donation box will be at the visitor's desk at Friendswood High School for local residents to doanate their unwanted phones. Visit the link on this page for further information.
