We still need 7 volunteers to help with DASH Delivery on Sunday, April 29th. We meet at Pecan Creek Village kitchen (behind Home Depot) between 9:45 and 10am then head out with our routes. This is a family friendly event so bring the wife and kids. Come by after the early mass or you should have time to deliver you route and still make the 11am mass. If you can help, contact Gary Otto or Danny Wolf.

First, let me say thank you to everyone who pitched in for the last fish fry on short notice...you guys are the definition of true brotherhood.
Friday is fish fry #2 for the season! If you are available, I will be at the hall after lunch to begin preparations.
We have everything we need, just need the manpower.

Hi guys,
Danny is very sick and unable to get out of bed. He needs some getting things organized. He needs some help to round up fryers from people and get them to the hall. Also, the fish needs to be taken out of the freezer and thawed to be cut up tomorrow.

Sorry for any confusion earlier...here is some information on Lee's condition.
It has now been confirmed that Lee does have cancer and it has spread into his bones. He had a CT guided biopsy of the liver spot yesterday, today is a full body bone scan, and tomorrow, a CT of the head. Hopefully, they will know soon enough what kind of treatment can be used. Other than the pain, Lee is doing well. He has a good outlook. Darlene asked to pray for her for strength.
We will say a rosary for healing at 7:30p tonight. Again, if you are not able to make it, please keep Lee and Darlene in your prayers for healing and strength.

The KC Hall is going Hi Tech! We have installed a new 10ft screen and mounted projector in the main hall to use for events. We are bringing back BINGO night and we will have Family Movie Nights. To kick off Family Movie Night in 2012, we are excited to invite everyone out on Saturday, January 21st after 4:00p Mass. We will have food for everyone, a movie for the kids and Bingo for the adults. After the movie, the kids can join in for some family Bingo! We will have door prizes for the Bingo winners. (If you have any door prizes you would like to donate, please send a return email.) Kids can bring sleeping bags, pillows, PJs...anything to watch the movie in comfort.

This Saturday, November 19th is the Knights of Columbus Memorial Mass for council 1167 to honor Elmo Self and Doug Brewer.
Mass is at 4:00p, all KCs and Color Guard will proceed into the church and sit together.

Saturday (tomorrow) is our cleanup day at St Mary's School. Our biggest project for the day is to re-stripe the parking lot. Danny will be up there at 8:00am with the striping machine and paint.
Other projects that are needed:
- weed eat/edging around the building and around the playground area.
- Check the fall zone area on the playground for any of the partitions that may need to be re-secured.
- Pull any weeds/grass coming up through the woodchips on the playground.
If anyone wants to get a head start on the grounds clean-up, you're more than welcome to come earlier in the morning. I won't have a key to the playground and will have to call Mr. Garcia to get the gates opened unless you want to jump the fence.
I'd say we need weed eaters or edges, blowers, hammers or mallets for playground partitions and maybe some trash bags. Anything you think we need, bring the tools or equipment if you have it.

Friday's Fish Fry IS on! For those who were at meeting last Wednesday, we discussed cancelling the fish fry since we were doing the fish fry at Leonard Park for the Playground Project. However, it was published in the St Mary's Church calendar and the bulletin, so we will proceed with the fish fry for Friday night! Please bring the family and friends out to the hall Friday for fish and fellowship with your Brother Knights.
Sorry for any confusion! We have 2 more fries scheduled for April 1st and April 15th.
We had an awesome day at Leonard Park last Saturday. Pictures are posted on the website...check them out!

A great big thank you goes out to all the Brother Knights who helped out at the March KC Breakfast on Sunday. We had some confusion about the breakfast, but as usual, our men stepped up and breakfast was served! Ron and Jason Overholt, Jeff Gerken, Gery Otto, Chris Hamilton, John Anselmi, Nathan Dempsey, Van Knight, Walter Vickers and Walter Hermes did a great job cooking and serving. Steve Burkhart, Tommy Smith and Ronny Brooks made sure all was clean! Our "little knights" crew is getting bigger and bigger. We had lots of helpers in the kitchen and on clean-up.
