This section is about me, so shoooo!
I went to Good Shepherds Clinic in Concepcion Marikina to finally have myself cured of something. What it is, uh.. just don't ask. ![]()
I thought they'll just give me a shot but noooo! They had to do a skin test first. If the result is negative, they can give me the medicine. If not, we have to look for an alternative.
What's a skin test anyway? I dont know, so I just said sure. I thought he'll just patch something on my arm, but no, it's an injection. I'm not really scared of injections, but the doctor prepared the injection right in front of me. I felt squeamish as he let some of the liquid squirt from the needle. Why do they do that anyway? Pamporma?
Then he smiled at me and said "Medyo masakit to ha." ![]()
Sure, sige, matapang naman ako e! Hahahaha!
Crap. It was painful.
He laughed when I said "F@ck!!!" and retracted my arm.
The good thing is that the skin test's result was negative. Yay! Yay? no. It's not a shot. They will have to use a butterfly for the medicine. It's the same instrument that they use for dextrose. I've never been dextrosed (?) so I thought it'll be fine.
The doctor pulled out the butterfly and oh my gulay, what a needle! It was big! I looked exactly like this. ->
WTF?!! (whoah the fish!) He looked at me and said "Don't worry, di to masakit."
Yeah riiiight. Laki laki ng needle eh. Pasak ko sa ngalangala mo yan tingnan natin.
I can't back out now so I just braced myself. He wrapped a wide rubber band on my wrist to locate the vein where the would insert the NEEEEEDLEEEE, tapped it a couple of times, and smiled at me.
Hookay, here it goes. He inserted the needle point.
Okay tapos na!
No not yet. He pushed the needle all the way through. The moment I saw blood rushed up the tube I felt dizzy.
Aray...
"Doc namumutla na sya oh."
"Breathe in, breathe out. Relax."
"Aaaaaah... fck... Aray..."
He placed the medicine on the other end of the tube and did something that made the blood in the tube return to my arm together with the medicine.
Gah.. I feel dizzy.
The nurse probably saw me closing my eyes and bobbing my head already so she held my hand. (yay!
)
"Doc, he's cold!"
"Breathe in, breathe out"
"Fck..."
Ugh.. Everything is getting dim.
"Malapit na..."
Faster... please....
...
...
...
"Sir ok na."
My head as resting on the table already. I can't look straight. Everything is dark. The nurse's voice sounds like an echo.
The doctor gave me a pat in the back and said. "Yan, next time be careful ha?"
"Opo doc..." ![]()
He grinned and disposed the instruments that he used.
I am now officially scared of needles. ![]()
I went home around 6pm last Saturday and went straight to bed. For the first time in many years, I slept like a log. I woke up at around 9 am and I stayed in bed up until 11 am.
Wooo! Now I can abuse my body again and not sleep. ![]()
Just kidding! I know people will beat me up if I do that. (but I do it anyway
)
Oooh huge eyes.
I wonder how long it sleeps during the night. My eyes would be that big if I don't take care of myself and sleep regularly. T__T
Weeee!! I bought a new phone. I think I went overbudget again, but eh..
I said to myself I'm gonna buy a cheap phone so that it won't be a loss even if it gets snatched. My original budget is just up to 1.5K.
I was browsing through the shop when someone asked for the price of the Nokia ExpressMusic. I heard the price. It's way over my budget. But she went on saying that it has camera/video/ mp3/ radio/internet/bluetooth/storage device/yaddahyadda...
I was like..
@_@
To the ATM machine!
I went overbudget but I'm enjoying my new phone. Tehehee!!
