First accept this fact – there are some basic rules when it comes to getting your ex back. They have become „rules“ when they proved to be very useful in real life and in practice. Rule no 1 – accept the break up

Rule no 3 – focus on your life
You'll have some time on your hands at this point. And you need to use it wisely. There is a bunch of stuff you can do to improve the quality of your life. It may be that you can work on improving your career or you're chasing a more personal goal. Perhaps you're trying to lose weight or put on some muscle. Maybe learn a new language or just try out a new hobby. Whatever it is make sure it's improving your life and making you happy at the same time. If you're more adventurous you may try out some adrenaline sport or take a wild trip somewhere – just do what makes you a happier and more fulfilled person.
Rule no 4 – socialize
This is without saying one of the top mistakes people going through a break up do. They lock themselves inside of a hose and spend their time looking at photos of their ex feeling sorry for themselves. Don't do this. Go out, call up your friends and meet them somewhere. While you may talk about the break up a bit, don't make the „theme“ of the evening. Have as much FUN as you can!
Also don't be afraid to meet new people. They will enrich your life and make you feel good. We all like to be interesting to someone new and a new person will notice all the good things about you your ex took for granted. If you feel like dating – do it. It will also do wonders for your confidence, just make sure you're 100% honest with the people you're dating about how you feel and what you want form this.
