The Temple Terrace Junior Woman’s club is a 501 © 3 service organization for women. Organized in March 1958 and federated in April of the same year, the club is active in community service projects throughout the city of Temple Terrace and internationally as well. Our motto is: “To accomplish something, not merely to exist.”

Welcome to our site! Here you'll find the latest pictures and news about our group. Visit us regularly to see what we're up to. We meet monthly for service with a whole lot of social mixed in. Our community is important to us and so we choose projects that make our city of Temple Terrace a City for Living!

The Temple Terrace Junior Woman’s Club is a non-profit service organization of volunteers who focus on leadership development through community service. The club was organized in 1958 and became a charter member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

The GFWC Temple Terrace Junior Woman's Club encourages all women, ages 18 and up, to join our organization which meets on the third Thursday of each month at (6:30 p.m. Social) 7:00 p.m. at Woodmont Clubhouse, 415 Woodmont Avenue, Temple Terrace, Florida 33617.

Locally, the club directly supports many community projects with donations of time and money including the Temple Terrace Library, Adopt-a-Highway, American Cancer Society Relay for Life Temple Terrace, the Book Exchange, 4th of July Parade, Tampa Hope Lodge, Operation Smile, The Heifer Project, and many others.

Girls Night Out Holiday Boutique - 10 years of Shopping & Socializing

The GFWC Temple Terrace Junior Woman's Club held their tenth annual 'Girls Night Out' Holiday Open House on Monday, December 5 from 5-8 PM at Lightfoot Recreation Center, 10901 N. 56th St. in Temple Terrace. This holiday shopping extravaganza event is free and open to the public.

Over 35 vendors chatted with shoppers and sold their wares at this fun one-evening fundraiser which featured a drawing for an IPAD donated by PNC Bank of Temple Terrace. There was a wide array of vendors including Miche Bags, Toffee-to-Go and Longaberger Baskets with many custom and one-of-a-kind offerings.

A silent auction including a special Busch Gardens basket complete with 2 admission tickets was a favorite with the ladies. Club members also sold the 2011 ornament as well as the 50th Anniversary cookbooks. The proceeds will benefit the many charities of the GFWC Temple Terrace Juniors. Both have agreed to chair the event in 2012 - watch for more information on this site for the day and location.
