SER was awesome!  GFWC WV can be proud of it's hard work and accomplishments for a successful SER Conference at the Greenbrier!!  I am already looking forward to visiting Lexington, KY for next year's SER!!

Summer Conference

The 2010 GFWC WV Summer Conference was a success in Flatwoods.  Thanks to all who were able to attend.  The workshops were informative and the evening entertainment was great fun for all!

International Convention was a blast!  It's always fun to spend time with other GFWC women from across the country and other nations.  Our new administration is breathing the winds of change and we have some new Community Service Projects and we will be learning about Partnership and Collaboration for our reporting.  Stay tuned for more details soon!

If you insist on measuring yourself, place the tape around your heart rather than your head. -- Carol Trabelle

No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor is given by what he gave. -- Calvin Coolidge

You make a living by what you get, but you make a life by what you give. -- Winston Churchill

Too often we under-estimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. -- Dr. Felice Leonardo Buscaglia
