Pray for a BOX TRUCK
Please pray that the Lord will provide a box truck for God's Closet. A local business has loaned us their truck but they need it daily. We have organizations donating items to us weekly but we are having a hard time picking them up. It just cost too much to rent a truck.
Please pray that if this is the Lord's will he will provide a truck for us. Thank you.
God's Closet
Welcome to God's Closet!!
God's Closet is located in the John R. Rice II Center, Courthouse Hill, Manchester, Kentucky, we are a ministry of Manchester Baptist Church.
Clothes and other items are given away twice a week, Monday 4:00-6:00 and Saturday 10:00-12:00. We work with "Burn Out Victims", Schools, Family Resource Centers, and Social Workers providing items though out the week as needed.
We accept donations of clothes, houseware, diapers, baby food, cereal, prom dresses, wedding dresses, appliances, toys, we accept EVERYTHING!!
Some of our BIG events in the last six months have been:
November - Coat Give-Away (2,200 given out)
December - Toy Give-Away (Children picked the toys they wanted)
April - Prom Dress Give-Away
May, June, July, August - Mission Work Teams/BackYard Bible School Teams
We recently purchased used baskets and shopping carts which makes shopping easier for our customers.
