One of our largest ministry in God's Closet is distributing diapers. Each child can receive 1/2 pack of diapers per month. If we have them, each family can receive 1 pack of wipes. Our diaper ministry is funded through donations from churches, mission team, VBS Offerings, individual contributions, and a grant from Wal-Mart. EVERYDAY we give away diapers and the list is growing longer. God gave us what we needed!
I almost laughed when I read that in August we served 85 babies. Here we are in October and we are now serving 190+ babies with diapers each month. Just 3 days before the big "BABY SHOWER" and we need a miracle. We still need size 3, 4 and 5. PRAY!
We still have a few more days left in August, but to date, we have serviced 85 babies with diapers. That is ONE month. No wonder we are out of diapers again. We are in need of size 4, 5, 6 and a few pullups. Be in prayer that we will be able to meet the needs each month.
October 17, we will be hosting our first "Baby Shower" for pregnant women and moms with babies up to the age of 3. We are planning to give diapers, educational toys, high chairs, strollers, and whatever else we can collect. If you would like to donate to the "Baby Shower" or work that day, please let me know.
