Personalized DOG training ~ Call for info 903-922-0156

I am still available for private training sessions.  However, I am no longer teaching at PetSense.  Sorry if this is inconvenient but there's just not enough demand/participation to start group 6 weeks sessions at PetSense.  Please call for more info  903-922-0156.

What to bring to class

Your puppy/dog wearing a simple buckle collar and leash.  Harnesses and retractable leashes are not allowed.  It's best to train pups/dogs on an empty stomach or when they're still somewhat hungry.  Either don't feed before training or only feed half as much as you normally would.  Don't forget to give them opportunity to relieve themself as well.  The excitement of being around new dogs may trigger the bowels/bladder and cause accidents.

pea size training treats (something he likes).  Used for training and teaching and eventually not needed at all.

current vaccination record

training fee (which also usually is a donation towards my rescue  operation) Dogs helping dogs.  The more fortunate dogs helping the dogs in need.

A positive attitude and mental picture of what you want your dog to become ~ because with the right tools, knowledge and dedication you can make it happen.

What to leave at home:  stress, worry, frustration.

Why I call it this:
Good Ole Dog ‘school
    training
If you notice the highlighted letters you’ll see that the real name of the training is GOD’s training.  The reason I use this is because I want everyone out there to be reminded that these are God’s precious animals that we’ve been Blessed to have in our lives.   We should train and handle them in a way that God would approve of.  In all things good, give the Glory to God.  It is only thru him and what he has given me that I am able to share with others.  God helps us in so many ways and I truly believe that the dogs are an instrument of his love for us.  Even those who don’t use them or train them for special purposes (service work) are benefiting from having them in their lives.  As we all know they encourage us to be calm when we’re nervous, anxious or angry.  They cheer us when we’re sad, comfort us when we’re lonely and console us when we’re mourning.  They encourage us to exercise and get up and about more, as well as give us courage to do what we never believed we could do.  They save lives, assist handicapped, detect seizures and medical emergencies, lead the blind, help with law enforcement and find lost and injured victims.  Studies have shown that petting an animal can lower your blood pressure and have been beneficial in doctors offices just by their presence and statistics indicate those who have pets in their lives typically live longer healthier lives.  How can anything created by God and so beneficial to his people be treated or trained  in any way but a Godly way?

By sharing my knowledge and experiences I hope to improve the lives of dogs and the people who love them.

Every dog is a "Good ole dog" ~ some of us just aren't aware of it yet!
