Welcome to The Arc of Howard County's Graeloch Home Renovation photo web site. This site shows progress and photos of the renovation project. A special thank you to DreamBuilders volunteers for their help with this project. DreamBuilders is an interfaith community of teens and adults building homes for those in need. When completed, the project is expected to be certified Energy Star.

Special appreciation to the Howard County delegation and the Maryland State Capital Grants Program for matching funds for this project. Thanks for all the Arc's Greenfield Dinner supporters for their contributions which go into The Arc's Special Maintenance Project Fund. This fund was used to provide The Arc's match for the state's grant.

In addition, special appreciation to the Lisa Higgins Foundation for their very generous donation towards this renovation project. And special appreciation to the Howard County Department of Housing and Community Development for their grant towards this project.

The Grealoch Renovation Project has been certified by the Energy Services Group through the Energy Star Program as Energy Star with an HERS (Home Energy Rating System) score of 53.

Temporary move scheduled

The individuals of Graeloch are relocating to their temporary apartment on Saturday, September 10 to allow for renovation and construction at their home.
