Autumn in front yard
During autumn the front yard is quite spectacular. this picture is an Image Composite using Photo Gallery ICE causing the 'fisheye' effect of the verandah.

Alectryon oleifolius  locally known as "Bullock Bush" also as "Rosewood" particularly around Mungo NP

Wild Tomato
Solanum quadrilocatum " wild tomato"  there was another Solanum, Petrophilum in the area, it has nasty spikes on the leaves, its fruit are pale green to yellow. Both fruits are poisonous to humans, cause liver damage.

Getting back out from Grindells Hut with the camper trailer behind was interesting. There was a mud cake on the side rails after this spot. A rented Suburu who came out with us found it even more interesting!

Arkaroola - Welcome Pound
Welcome Pound was magical. We arrived at just the right time; photographers call it 'magic hour' It certainly was.

Grindells Hut - Track
Yes! We drove out though this. Pete is standing in the tricky area and grimaced as he watched the tyres going onto and over the rocks. High clearance was certainly an advantage.
