So we've been toying with the idea of potty training Miss M. We are armed with Elmo's potty DVD and a little chair for her. She has loved the chair and of course Elmo since day one. However, it seemed that the chair wasn't going to be used for it's intended purpose. Until last night! I got home from work and was called into the bathroom by one Miss M... she was actually sitting on the potty, with her little bare butt! She was fairly content with her bath crayons and entertaining Daddy.
Maybe this weekend we'll actually get something to happen in the chair, but this is a huge step for her. :)
Well, I think our nights are numbered when it comes to footed PJ’s. Once again I go to get Miss Maiken out of her crib in the morning and she’s sitting there, only in her diaper. The goof! This morning, I wasn’t quick enough to grab the camera as she had stripped down then proceeded to reach into the hamper (need to shove the clothes down further instead of setting on top) and try to put on yesterday’s pants. The problem with the pants was that she had started to put them on upside down so it looked more like a leg warmer… with lots of extra fabric on the bottom. J
My coworker and I have been sharing coasters that we received from a LIVEDYNAMITE conference. What’s neat about these is that we can swap out the quote that’s inside. Some, ok most, are great phrases that hopefully will get you thinking.
I’d thought I’d share the one from this week by Carl Jung: Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.
Feel free to add share your own!! JJ
There will be a new one next Monday…
Henry Ford: Don't find fault. Find a remedy.
Benjamin Franklin: If passion drives you, let reason hold the reins.
Jim Rohn: Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.
Gandhi: Satisfaction lies in the effort, not in the attainment. Full effort is full vicotry.
