Our main goal for the 2011/2012 school year was to purchase Math & Science materials to “make it real” for our students, in an effort to increase understanding of Math and Science concepts. In addition, we also wanted to make further improvements to our outside playground areas.
Due to the success of both the Boosterthon Fun Run and the annual Art Fundraiser, progress on all fronts is under way!
Between these two main fundraisers, we were able to achieve the above goals, and be able to provide funds for various classroom supplies, as well as for events sponsored by the PTO that are not part of the school budget.
Thanks again to all the parents, teachers, school staff, Boosterthon Team, Art Fundraising team, and all the generous friends and families who sponsored our children and helped raise the needed funds for our school!

Volunteer to support the PTO, as your time and talents allow. The PTO is always in need of parents to help in various areas, including volunteering for special events, sending in baked goods or supplies, or helping out in the school, such as volunteering in the Media Center or the Art Department. Small Efforts = BIG REWARDS:
Box Tops for Education – Box tops can be found on numerous products and brands. Just clip the box tops and place them in a baggie/envelope with your child’s teacher’s name written on the outside. Not only does our school earn money for each box top turned in, the PTO will reward the class that turns in the most box tops each month with popsicles or cookies. Tyson Project A+ - www.projectaplus.tyson.com, Send in all the Tyson Project A+ labels you and your friends and family collect! The school will receive 24 cents per label.
Publix Partners Key Card – Remember to have the cashier scan your card each time you shop at any area Publix. If you need a card, contact someone on the PTO or you can get one from Publix Customer Service desk.

Ink/Toner Cartridge Recycling - we will collect and recycle empty toner and ink cartridges. Drop them off in the Parent Resource Room, and we will do the rest!
