There is one God, the creator and ruler of the universe and all that is in it. We portray God in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to describe God’s threefold nature. God loves each of us equally and has a plan for our lives and our salvation.
Jesus, the Son of God, humbled himself and became a man. He lived on earth, was crucified, died and was resurrected. Through His sacrifice our sins are forgiven.
Salvation, eternal life with God, is a gift from God offered to everyone because of His love for us. We can only accept His gift by faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior and not by our own works or goodness.
The Holy Spirit lives in every Christian and provides us with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in following God’s plan for each of our lives.
Christians are called to love God through worship and prayer, to love others as God loves us and to make everyone a disciple of Jesus.
The Bible, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired revelation of God’s truth and is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
