The House's Junior Committe is hosting its first annual Walk for Youth Development fundraiser this July to support the vital youth programming the agency provides to the community's children and teens. Come out to support the kids by walking along the East River Waterfront.
The event will be held on Sunday July 18, 2010, starting at the House's gymnasium at 50 Madison Street. Early registration discount extends until May 9th, so sign up now! You can find all the information, including registration forms and payment information, at the Walk's website at http://sites.google.com/site/hmhjcrunwalk/.
All the proceeds will go directly to support HMH's youth programs. Questions? Email events@hmhonline.org or call (212)349-3724 ext 314/316.
As HMH comes off its most successful Gala to date, the House is looking towards the coming winter months and the changes ahead.
We are currently asking the community to contribute to our Toy Drive to supply the low-income children our programs serve with some extra holiday cheer. If you or someone you know would like to help, please contact Tracy Garber at 212-349-3724 ext 316, or at tracygarber@hmhonline.org.
The House will also be saying goodbye to its long time Executive Director of 34 years, Frank T. Modica, and welcoming the addition of a new Executive Director at the start of 2010.
Be sure to keep up with all the changes going on at the House by checking back here or following us on Twitter!
