We Need To Stop This!

To those in Canada who were looking forward to adopting their child from Ghana...

First let me say how sorry I am to you and your families. I am also very sad for the children. This is such a tragedy.

Please let all the families  know if they still want to know how their child is doing they can contact me. If they want to support them I will make sure the child is cared for.  I feel so terrible for everyone involved especially the kids in Ghana who would have been so blessed by all of you.

I wonder why this decision? I spoke to Ted and it was not my impression of what he wanted to suggest to the board. Maybe I read into it wrong. I know he said he checked into things and as he saw it we did not do the so called "trafficking ".

So there should be no reason why we could not go on. I guess Canadian Immigration had a lot to say about the decision.

Again, I am sorry to all involved... take care.. Deb

What can we do about this??? Do you know of anyone who can help us so this does not happen again to

It is really sad to hear about this incident. The devil is a big time liar. Accept my personal and my family deep feelings of sympathy for this out rageous occurence. However our Lord is in control Be strong and courageous, your God will show up strong and mighty for you and the ministry. The enemy wants to get you discouraged and distracted at this hour but he has lost the battle again as usual.
The Holy Spirit is going to direct you into the right steps to resolve this issue and other pending obstacles once and for all, in Jesus mighty name. We love you mama Deborrah and we sincerely join with u in prayers at this hour of need for the work in Ghana. Let God have His way. May the precious Soul of Alia rest at His bosom and may God comfort n bless Zac and Mariam .

Another sad situation in Ghana.. We need to do something

Yet another of our children has passed away.Little Caleb who is a twin to Joshua was sent back to his village. He has gone now to be with Jesus! This is so upsetting. They were so healthy when they were with us. This child was to be adopted into Canada! If anyone was sick when they were with us they got immediate attention. Now yet another one has to die...

Please if you know of a lawyer who would help us let us know.

Pray for Caleb's brother Joshua for health. When a twin dies there it is a different way then ours. The other twin is not looked at well. He needs our prayers.

Desperately needs a sponsor...

I know Hands of Mercy has had some bad publicity over the last 4 months due to the Bankrupcy of Imagine adoption and things that we were accused of but it has all been pretty much cleared up now and a lawyer is working on getting the paper work.

So the reason I am saying this is that we found a case that is in immediate need of a sponor. Paul has visited this boy and it is pretty serious. His mom died of aids and he is staying with an old lady. The lady does not care for him as she thinks if he happens to have HIV+ she will catch it. He has never been tested. We need to test him and then get him somewhere where he will be cared for. The HIV testing and TB testing etc is about $25 and monthly support is $35. or a one time donation is good too. go to www.handsmercy.com and donate. Say it is for the new boy in need. I pray someone will be touched. Please let me know right away if you are interested in helping him.

We are still doing lots of work in Uganda, India, and some in Ghana.

God bless.. pray for us and for courage and strength for me to continue on in this ministry.

Re: The new little boy

Hi rev.Deb. thanks for ur mail. i have read ur mail and i am so saddened about evens at our home. My wife will be coming to live in ghana with me next year and i will have to get her approval for any decisions i take. and also  my present financial situation makes it impossible to be able to hep. i have been trying to get my piggry established so  that i can get money to help others, but it has been a very difficult thing. so far i have not been able to get money to start it nor any investor to partner me. i have even gone to the net to find investors but i have not succeeded so far. it is a very major and big project i am tying to established. when by God's grace i am able to do it, i can help lots and lots of people because the money that will come out will be big. i am sorry i can't help now.God bless u. best regards Kwame

The new little boy
I want to thank Annette for the $30 one time gift for this child to have him checked for HIV and TB. I will update you as to the results. I believe his name is Daniel. Paul will be going to the place the child is staying and taking him for the tests. Once we know the results we will know where he is to go from there. We do need a sponsor for him . He is not quite 2 yrs old as far as we know. More info to follow.  All the children that were going to be adopted now need sponsors as Canada has decided not to allow the adoptions. Let me know if you are interested. we do not have our home in Accra but we are still looking after the children who have been put in foster homes. Also those sent back to their villages need supporters. Be blessed and pray for the children and for us here at HMCOI.
