Hi. Take a look around and let us know what you think. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoy taking them.
Hello everybody. So it's been awhile. We recently got back from a 2 week trip to Florida. And just in time for the first blizzard of the season. So we were stuck inside with the kids for 3 days. The road finally melted and it got to 56 today. So we took the boys to the outlet mall to go trick or treating. Steven was Darth Vader(again), Ryan was spiderman (thank you Cayce), and Baby Jonathan was a dragon (thank you Cracker Barrel). Yes I took pictures. Of Florida and Halloween. Hopefully I will get something posted soon.
Ok. Cause nothing is ever easy. Steven has pnuemonia but is getting better not to worry. Ryan has a cold. And the Baby is getting 4 teeth. Yes I said 4. So with all this going on we had Ryan's implant turned on yesterday (wed). He was a little overwhelmed but cooperated while his favorite pre-school teacher, Ms. Shannon, fed him m&ms. There was an immediate change in his facial expression when the implant was activated. I almost cried, but refrained because we didn't want him to cry. It was very joyous to know that for the first time in over 2 years Ryan could hear out of his right ear. He perked right up after we left and was singing and talking to himself in the car. We noticed a changed in the tone of his voice right away and he was speaking in whole sentences at my parents house. We were all impressed. ANd he was excited about his implant. He got tired of it when it came off at 8pm, and when we put it back on he was over it. So i let him remove it promptly. Lots of stimulation for one day. I had high hopes he would be willing to put it on the next morning. Which is today. Which was not exactly what happened. Ryan emphatically refused to wear it and cried the first three times I mentioned or tried to show it to him. So after trying to bribe him which went south. I gave up and decided his audiologist could do the job of getting it back on him. So off to the hospital for our appointment. Where we found his response last night was remarkable and not typical. Very cool. So as we start our little an announcement is made hospital-wide there is a tornando warning as one has been spotted. Great. We all get ushered out of appt to another room full of parents and kids in group speech therapy. We spent an hour in there but managed to accomplish something very important. While Ryan was being entertained and held by my Mom. I slipped in his implant back on his ear. It was switched off of course. But everyone was so thrilled that he was tolerating having it on. So shortly after the Tornando warning was lifted and we went back to our appt room. Where the audiologist turned on his implant and lowered the volume for him. And its now 8pm MT and he still has it on. YAY!!! He is a little more under the weather today and the volume is quite a bit lower so we are not getting the same response as yesterday. But I know we will as we slowly move up his volume every couple days and his tolerance grows. But we know God answers prayer. And this will be wonderful for Ryan. Hearing out of 2 ears. Ok. Well gotta start working on bedtime. I didn't proof read this so I hope it makes since. I know you'll call if it doesn't.
much love to everyone. I took pictures of Ryan wearing his implant today I will upload them soon. The cochlear implant is black and he put american flag stickers on it.
Ok. New pics from our recent Zoo trip on the "New" page. Just a few. Tooks lots of cool pics of the kids outside tonight but have not uploaded those yet.
So tomorrow at 2pm MT is Ryan's appointment to have his implant turned on. We are all excited.
2 of his pre-school teachers are coming to his appt as well. I will keep you posted.
Later.
Ok check out the Newer page for lots of up to date pictures.
Enjoy.

Steven- graduated from Kindergarten today. Very exciting. He wore a tie he was so cute. We took picutures which I will have to post later. So he officially has started summer vacation.
Jonathan- is officially 9 months old today. And still a very big boy. He sleeps through the night and still doesn't like to eat baby food. He is super sweet and good natured. He is not quite crawling yet but rolling everywhere.
Ryan- Surgery is set for 8:30 MST Wednesday morning. We won't know if he is spedning the night until after the surgery. Please keep him in your prayers. He also has 2 more weeks of pre-school. He had a wonderful birthday and party I will have to post pictures from that also. He is our big 4 year old now.
Jon- just working hard, and getting a new company car today. I think we are planning on yard work for the holiday weekend. If we don't get rained out.
Me- just trying to keep my sanity. :) And am getting reading glasses. It was a nice 8 years with out glasses of any kind. Don't get me wrong I can still see very well, just a 20/25 and having some eye strain with up close stuff, photography. Oh yea and officially I'm a size 10. Thats the good news. So I need to update my picture as well. And MJ's pic. Who has lost weight too. Send me one.
Much love to all our family and friends.
PS. We had our home phone shut off, so you'll have to call the cell. NO worries just trying to cut back on expenses. TYYL
Hello Everyone. We have great news. Ryan is going to get a Cochlear implant the end of May!!! His 8th Nerve (hearing nerve) is normal. Yay! His Chiari malformation and syrinx are not problematic and do NOT require surgery. We are very excited by the possibility of his hearing restored in his right ear. Please keep Ryan and his upcoming surgery in your prayers.
Ok Jonathan. Is 19.9lbs and 29 inches tall. He has 2 bottom teeth and is currently working on his eye teeth.
Steven tested wed night for Purple belt in Taekwando. He did awesome. Belts will be given out Monday.
Jon is healing. And thats whats up with us.
Ok. So I just added a new photo book, I tweaked the previous one and added some pictures. I am having it sent to my Grandmother for her birthday. Steven don't forget April 4th. So I have added some new pics of the worlds cutest baby. Check it out.
Also update on Ryan. We are so excited we have our first informational appointment about Cochlear implants next Thursday. His MRI revealed his cochleas ? were open and operable. So we are pumped to find out more especially about the possiblity of him having hearing in his right ear. Which currently is profoundly death. So please pray for Ryan during this process.
Steven and Ryan both just had Parent Teacher conferences and both are doing awesome. Steven's teach is more than pleased with his learning and behavior. He is already reading and writing above grade level. Ryan can write his name and Mom n Dad. He can read those words and the names of all his friends at school. He has come so far.
Jonathan is changing all the time. He is 7 months old today.
And a Happy Birthday to my best bud, Jen. She's finally my age. :)
Jon is doing better and getting around a little easier.

So I just posted my latest photo book to the New Year Page. Check it out. So life here is most defintely crazy.
For those who don't know Jon crashed his motorcyle and broke 4 fingers and other bones in his right hand. Which required surgery. He has three pins which they will take out soon. He also broke his right knee, and now travels by wheelchair. And needs just as much attention as the boys do.
Update on Ryan. He is candidate for cochlear implants (both ears), we now start the qualify processes, and wait for the next step. During his MRI last friday the dr's also found an abornmality. He has been diagnosed with a Chiari Malformation. Not to worry. It is not life threatening and actually quite common. We saw the head of nuerosurgery this week. And it does not require surgery as long has Ryan has no symptoms. Which he does not.
Ryan is doing wonderful in school. He can write Ryan, Mom and Dad. He can read these words and quite a few more. He can count almost to 20. He loves school. ANd he has started to use his left arm quite a bit more. We are very pleased with his progress.
Steven is doing very well in Kindergarten and he can already read. He is getting so big. His world revolves around Star Wars and Clone Wars. He has been a big helper with Jonathan.
Jonathan must be at least 20lbs. We started feeding him baby food a couple weeks ago. He is not a big fan. He also does not sleep through the night. But he sits up really well and will play with toys and laughs hysterically at his big brothers.
So yes I have been running everyone everywhere. And I'm still looking for my mind!!!
Happy New Year to everyone. We had a wonderful Christmas. Wii is our new favorite sport here. Well things have been crazy. Steven had pink eye and Jonathan got his immunizations. So no sleep and lots of handwashing for everyone. The baby is finally back to his sweet self. And this week he is learning to take naps. Yay for me. Steven is doing much better and already tested (on friday) at a level 3 for reading. So he is ahead in his reading skills. Yay for him. Jon will be traveling next week, and Ryan's botox went great. His thumb and wrist are nice and loose. He enjoyed going back to school this week, and Steven enjoyed staying home and playing Wii. I have new pics to post. Unfortuntaely haven't gotten to uploading Christmas yet so will do those later. Hope everyone is doing well. Much Love.
Oh Yeah, for those who are keeping track. Jonathan is 27 1/8 inches tall.
So have you heard. Jonathan is a whopping 18lbs these days. He will be 4months old on Monday. Yes the car seat is getting very heavy. Every one is doing good. The kids are out of school for 2 weeks. Ryan is scheduled for his next round of botox (for his left hand) this Monday. And please keep him in your prayers as his last hearing test did not go so well, but he is still hearing the same with his aid. Steven just earned his camo belt at Taekwondo. He is very excited he will be learning to spar soon. He is also the youngest kid in his class. Jon is taking some time off over Christmas and New Years. We are looking forward to spending some time with him.
Merry Christmas to all our family and friends. We love you very much.
So big news. Baby Jonathan slept through the night Friday and Sunday night. Yay!! We hope he keeps this up. Ryan got his staples out and has healed up nicely. He is doing very well. Steven however has a nice goose egg on his head. He ran into a pole on the playground at school today. He is ok. He was to busy playing star wars with his friends to look where he was going.
Also I have a link to Steve's professional wedding photos. Their are some super cute ones of the boys and the bride and groom don't look to bad either. ![]()
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!! We will be celebrating at our house with family and some really good friends. Will post pictures as soon as possible. Much love to all.
Ok, so what a crazy weekend we have had. Ryan had dental surgery on Friday, which went very well. Then Saturday he fell while playing with Steven and now has 4 staples in the back of his head. He is ok. Other than he will have another scar to add to his collection. So we got to spend lots of time in hospitals this weekend. However a friend of mine took some super cute pictures of Jonathan so I will be adding them to the site today.
Ryan is ok and back to playing and running around and yelling at Steven.
Ok so the latest is... Jonathan is now 15lbs at 11 weeks old. He is starting to sleep from @ 9pm to 4:30 am. Yay! Steven and Ryan are healthy and enjoying school. Ryan is talking up a storm and we still have no idea what he is saying, but it is cute and he is improving all the time. This weekend I get to go to a Scrapbooking Retreat. Yes Jonathan will be going with me at least for the overnight part. And for anyone interested in scrapbooking my friend, Jen, has started a blog site and is having a giveaway for everyone who checks out her Monday 11/10 entry and leaves a comment either on her project or about Thanksgiving. So check it out she is super creative and its an awesome Scrapping Tote.

here is the link. Adding some more pictures today from the last two weeks.
PS Ryan is having more success using the potty.
Here are the stats for Jonathan at 2months old.
13lbs 14oz, (he's eaten several times since then lets just call it 14lbs.)
23 7/8inches tall
And we had more success with Ryan going potty this morning.
Steven got his yellow belt in Taekwondo.
So we lived through our trip only to come home and have Ryan end up in the hosptial for 5 days. He is home now. And doing very well recovering from a nasty stomach bug. Our trip was memorable, the sites were amazing and the wedding was fabulous.
Unfortunately our camera battery died right before the ceremony so I have included a link to the Proffesional photographers blog with some pics of the happy couple. Not all the pictures have been released yet. The pictures are wonderful.
But there are plenty of pics to look through and I am waiting for a family member to send me pics she took at the wedding.
The kids were so adorable in their tuxes. Can't wait for those pictures.
Jonathan had his one month check up a little early. He is now 10.5 lbs and 22.25 inches. He is growing so fast and eating so much. He has really plumped out. We are starting to get a little more sleep. Keep your fingers crossed. He has been sleeping about 4 hours at a time each night. Ryan has decided not to sleep at night and play instead. Both Steven and Ryan are enjoying school. And Steven is very excited about our upcoming trip to see Uncle Steven. Adding some cute new pictures to the site today. Be sure to check them out.
Big News. Jon and I were so pumped because Jonathan went to bed at 10pm and slept till 3am!!!That is the most sleep either of us have gotten in the last 3 weeks. We hope to have a repeat perfomance but .... Either way we both feel rested today and Jonathan is doing great and has been more receptive to his pacifier. Keep your fingers crossed.
Ryan's first day of pre-school was Monday 9/8. I almost cried while watching him walk in with his teacher Ms. Shannon. He is such a big boy. I took a few pictures before we left the house of Ryan and his back pack. Which he is very proud of. He can actually carry it on his back. I need to upload the photos to the site. Jonathan is getting bigger every day. He is a very good baby. He rarely cries and he is always eating. We haven't been getting much sleep but he is totally worth it.
We are all looking forward to our trip to DC for my brother's wedding. Will have tons more photos in a couple weeks. Steven and Ryan are in the wedding party.
Steven and Ryan are really enjoying their new baby brother. Ryan is concerned whenever the baby cries, and Steven wants to hold and play with him all the time. Steven is always asking if Jonathan's eyes are open. Today was a good day because we (as in Me) found Jonathan a pacifier (other than Mommy) that he liked. I had Jonathan in the blue bouncy seat and the boys both sat next to him and watched him. Steven would help put the pacifier back in Jonathan's mouth whenver it popped out. We all sat on the floor next to Jonathan. It was a very nice family moment.
I finally downloaded pictures, which I hope will get better with time. How do you add the wallpaper to the pictures?Your site is sooo goood.Perhaps one tenth of your computer smarts will rub off.Love Grandma
