I miss you guys too, but Brian is loving the school up here and the change of weather is actually kind of nice (I didn't ever think I would say that about 0 degree weather:)! Caught Up?
Since my call into the Young Women's I feel as if every spare moment is taken up! It has taken me awhile to get this site caught up to date, but I think I'm there. It's not in detail, like I would like it to be, but my information is written and I'm happy to report that we are all happy and well! The Lord continues to see goodness in us and blesses us. We continue to see the goodness and tender mercies of the Lord as well!
We had a nice week last week as a family. Saturday was fun as we spent time serving a neighbor and shopping together as a family. We are enjoying the new church time of 10 a.m. It's a little harder since Ken is in meetings during that time and is not able to be with us during church, but we have loving ward members who are always willing to help me with the children! I feel blessed to be in this ward and that Ken is able to serve at his full capacity!
It is very late, but had to do one last update so I could feel good about the work I have done. I currently have the site in orange and brown to celebrate the fall season, but not to worry, you will soon be seeing Christmas decor NEXT MONTH! So excited!
Sep. 27 - Oct. 3rd ~ EMILY VISITS THIS WEEK!!
We LOVE AUNTIE EM! For her birthday, her wonderful mother gave her a trip to come see us....the Hancock Family....what a PRESENT! We LOVED having her be with us during this week, her timing was PERFECT too. She probably felt more like a free babysitter, but I sure did appreciate her! She watched the kiddos on Wed night, the day that she arrived, so that Ken and I could both fulfill our callings. So thankful to have her here to help us out!
On Thursday we went shopping and it took a good part of our day! However Friday, we had a blast visiting the Goldfield Mines. We really enjoyed looking at all the shops and taking some really fun pictures! (they can be found in September life and Joys of October) Saturday was conference and then Emily went back home on Sunday. We actually did a lot of fun things together. But it's so late right now and I'm really just trying to catch up. I do feel so blessed to have Emily as part of my life, she is another sister to me and I love all that she does for my little family. The kids adore her and she deserves the best out of life!
It was also Conference this weekend and we ALL LOVED IT! One of the pictures in "Joys of October" is of the conference tent that we had this year. Thanks to Blaine for fixing our computer we were able to WATCH conference and feel of the Savior's love through his servants! So, we all gathered in the den to watch conference on the computer, thus the conference tent was a little different.
I love listening to our prophets and all the talks were something I desperately needed! I'm already listening to them again in the mornings.....gotta love the kids that sometimes interrupts learning moments, I'm learning to enjoy them now though....they are growing so FAST!
