All parents and teachers of Harrisburg Journey Elementary are automatically members of our PTO -- it's FREE and we do not collect dues. We are a group of parents, teachers and staff who work together to support and encourage our students and educators as they strive for academic excellence by building a sense of community through Communication, Cooperation and Commitment. We take pride in our children and school by providing fun and educational activities and programs outside of their regular classroom. It is our hope to provide a variety of programs and services to enhance the eduction of every child. The Journey PTO will strive to continue with no door-to-door fundraising! As an organization, we are looking forward to continuing the tradition of Family Friendly Fundraising Events.

MEETING DATES: September 8th, October 13th, November 10th, January 12th, February 2nd , March 1st, April 12th and May 10th. All meetings are in the Journey Elementary School Library from 7 to 8 p.m. Child care is available.

How To Get Involved

Stay informed - attend our monthly meetings, read our meeting minutes, and check out our website. We post new information often.

Clip and save BOX TOPS. Visit http://www.boxtops4education.com to learn about ways to earn money for our school. Turn in Boxtops to your teachers and they will give to the PTO to keep track of totals.

We are no longer taking orders for Tiger Wear for the 2011/2012 school year, however we still have some items in stock. If you are interested in purchasing items, please contact Lynn Swanson at 371-8808 or stop in the school office.

Box Tops for Education

Our school collects Box Tops and we earn money by turning them in to "Box Tops for Education". Simply clip box tops from a wide variety of participating companies (like Pillsbury, Cheerios, Ziploc, Betty Crocker, Huggies, Kleenex and tons more), and send them to school with your children.

There are also many companies who will give money back to our school when parents shop online! (like Pottery Barn, Oriental Trading Co, Old Navy, Lands End, Sears, Shutterfly, Target, Zoobooks....many many more!) Simply sign up ONLINE at www.boxtops4education.com to see where to shop.

Last year our school earned $500 by simply clipping Box Tops and so far this year we have raised $630! Turn Boxtops into your teachers and they will submit to the PTO for counting.
