The Purpose of the JHU Hellenic Student Association is:
1. First and foremost, to contribute to the cultural, social, and intellectual life at the Johns Hopkins University through educating others about Hellenic culture.
2. To promote Hellenic culture on the Johns Hopkins University campus and provide an environment for Hellenic students and those interested in Hellenic culture to interact with fellow students, faculty, staff and the community in support of common ideals and efforts.
3. To help welcome and counsel new Hellenic students on campus
4. To encourage interaction between the JHU Hellenic Student Association and other student groups, Hellenic-affiliated organizations both here and abroad, and alumni.
5. To keep members informed about issues concerning Hellenic culture both in the US and abroad.
