ANDREW L. HICKS, JR. FOUNDATION SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE
The HHS Boys and Girls Soccer Labor Day Tournament is happy to sponsor the efforts of the Andrew L. Hicks, Jr. Foundation, which is conducting its Second Annual School Supplies Drive to benefit the children of Chester, PA. This effort will provide the essential materials for children (grades K – 5) so that they can be adequately prepared for their academic year. The supplies will be designated for the children at four primary schools located in Chester: Widener Partnership Charter School, Chester Community Charter School, Chester Upland School of the Arts and Frederick Douglass Christian School. The school supplies will be collected at the gates of both the Upper and Lower fields before, during and after all Labor Day Tournament games.

When: Friday, Sept. 2nd & Saturday Sept. 3rd 2011 before, during, and after the soccer games.
Where: Henderson Schramm Soccer Field (labeled boxes will be available for drop off)
The Pulsera Project is a non-profit organization that supports Nicaraguan artists of the Si A La Vida childrens shelter and graduates of the Los Quinchos childrens shelter through sales of their handwoven bracelets, or "pulseras" in Spanish. American students engage in grassroots international service by helping youth and young adults of another culture. The children, between the ages of 8 and 18, need new or gently used clothing, shoes, and soccer balls.
