Soon and Very Soon!
Christians , we who have studied and read Scripture know that the end is soon. The archangel is whetting his lips to sound the last trump of God , and our exit call.. I Thes.4
But i speak to the others who have found their way here and are reading this. You have had no time for God, the Bible, Jesus..this may be your last chance..Pastor Mike- what do you believe..?
First let me state it is not important what "I believe" it is important what the Bible says! The Bible is God's revealed Word to man. It is holy, perfect and blameless.
The Bible Teaches these things-
1. You and I are sinners- "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23
We have all joined in this band. We are all not worthy of God , His grace and His undying Love.
2. The payment for our sin is Hell. "For by the grace are you saved through faith it is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast.' Ephesians 2:8-9
Romans 6:23 " For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
The death in Romans 6:23 is the second death, eternal fire, and judgment from God. But God in His grace provides man , His prized creation with an escape.
The end of Romans 6:23 "But the Gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord!"
God say, we are a sinner, our sin deserves payment, Hell. But God provides Jesus who as God's Holy, perfect son, can pay for our sin debt by shedding His Holy blood on the cross. God has always required an animals blood as a covering for sin.. from Genesis to Malicah..but the promise was always..soon I will send a Lamb, the Lamb of God not to cover your sin, but to cleanse your sin...and The Lamb came and shed His blood to purchase our soul and pay, completely pay for our sin debt.
Now we can sing, "Gone, gone, gone, gone, yes my sins are gone! Buried in the deepest sea, yes thats good enough for me" The guilt is getting to you..do it now. Trust Christ for forgiveness of sin.. A MILLION YEARS FROM NOW YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID!
